From the spacious property, a breathtaking panoramic view over the water and the surrounding forests of the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park opens up. Here you really live directly on the lake – not just "near the lake".

Our house is ideal for people who want to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and who want a time of relaxation.

The cozy apartment is on the second floor of our apartment building. It can be reached via the shared stairwell and is a self-contained unit. The balcony offers a generous view of the gardens of the surrounding houses. The Hercules landmark of the documenta city can be seen from the window. The apartment is centrally located, the ICE train station is within walking distance approx. 20 minutes away and the city center about 30 minutes. Nearby to public transportation.

You are in a historic fire station right on the creek. You can sleep in the former hose tower in a 1.60 m wide box spring bed. This sleeping area is separated from the living room by free beams. You can book an additional bedroom. The photos are included. Among other things, there is a 1.80-meter-wide double bed. One floor down, on the first floor, is the bathroom with window, shower, natural stone sink and toilet. There is also a fully equipped kitchen.

Beautifully located apartment right on the water. Our lovingly furnished apartment is located on the ground floor of a half-timbered house in Guxhagen, which was renovated in 2017. The house has a plot on the Fulda with a jetty, which is located opposite the house, on the other side of the R1 cycle path. Before the construction of the Fulda bridge, our house was the old ferry house of Guxhagen. Boats and bikes are available to our guests.
