Drive 2 minutes to the beach for a walk along Bethells beach or a surf over the hill at O'Neils surf beach. A beautiful location for a winter escape, rug up and explore the beach and then come home and relax in front of a roaring fire. You have the luxury of privacy of a whole house, offering value for money.

Karekare Stream Cottage

Sweet bohemian cottage set in a lovely lush garden with fresh water stream dissecting the property. The beach is a 10minute walk from the cottage. Karekare was badly affected by Cyclone Gabrielle but our cottage has stood strong & unharmed & unchanged for the last 40years. KK environs & roads were badly damaged. Lone Kauri Rd will be closed for slip repairs from 8th April '24 There is no wifi & phone coverage can be patchy. Dogs welcome but let me know first.
