Welcome to Castanheiro. Our property is a recently refurbished house built around a century old chestnut tree. A spacious terrace offers a panoramic view of the Santa Cruz Bay. It is conveniently located in Lagoa and within a 3 min walking distance to the ocean . A stroll to natural swimming pools will take you 10 min. The house was lovingly restored to maintain its original stone features. A perfect place to enjoy with family and friends as it comfortably accomodates up to 6 people.

Beautifull big house, fully equiped, peacefull area, great view to the ocean. Restaurants and supermarket close by. Hammock and relax chairs outside. Fireplace and wooden oven. Very quiet, on a very peacefull village. Swimming area close by, water stream with fish, great for hiking, bird watching and canyoning. 20 mins to furnas lake by car. Close to a natural reserve and the highest mountain on the Island. garden with BBQ. Fresh milk, cheese and bread from the neighbours.Rural setting

We live in Vila Franca do Campo for more than 30 years and we think this is the perfect town in the island to spend some relaxing holidays. Casa das Dias is a 1-bedroom house located in the historical center of Vila Franca, right in front of the sea with an outsanding view to the Atlantlic Ocean and Ilhéu, a volcanic islet known among the villagers as the Princess Ring. There are several trails starting near the house. Located on the south coast of São Miguel Island, with easy access to Ponta Delgada.
