Ninho dos Avós is a quiet retreat located in the beautiful rural parish of Santa Bárbara, which belongs to the municipality of Angra do Heroísmo. Here you can enjoy the countryside and its tranquility. You will have magnificent views of the green countryside with the sea in the background, and you can also see the neighboring islands of Pico and São Jorge. Ninho dos Avós, as the name suggests, was the house where our grandparents lived, here we have many good memories and where we were happy with them and did not know.

The property is full of protected endemic trees found only in the Azores and protected birds including Cory’s Shearwater with their curious singing just before sunrise and after sunset in residence between March and October. Natural black lava swimming pools in the village. You and your family can enjoy the meal on a quiet and private terrace with a view of the green meadows and the ocean. You can even see cows grazing in the neighboring green fields and sunset on the right sight of terrace. Entire area of terrace is 180m2. It is a lovely place to spend a peaceful private vacation, especially for 2 families or 2 couples. Enjoy the whole house in private!

New house restored in 2018, keeping some details of the old villa. It's on the second floor of the house and the top floor. It has access by rear balcony to an outdoor patio, with laundry, outdoor shower, barbecue and use of garden furniture. From the backyard you can have a superb view over part of the city of Angra and the islands of S. Jorge and Pico. It is a T1 composed of a bedroom with large velux windows, bathroom, kitchen and common room.
