BehrenSCHLAF vacation home Stay in the thatched farmhouse and discover nature and the countryside well rested. Built around 1780 as a smoking house, the farmhouse is protected under historic preservation and has been lovingly maintained. You will stay in our cozy apartment with a terrace to the south side and views of our garden. The apartment is centrally located on the promenade and you can enjoy a fantastic view of the city harbor and the castle from the balcony, which you can reach in a few minutes on foot. The nearby city center attracts with theaters, museums and many gastronomic facilities. Your car can be parked in the underground garage upon request. Lovingly renovated single house with 80 m² of living space has been inviting families to relax since November 2019, whether for a cozy weekend or an exploration of the Lauenburg Lake District and the Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve. Large living/dining area, 2 bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, veranda and a cozy garden with large terrace (see photos). The location is ideal for day trips: about 25 minutes to Lübeck, 40 minutes to Schwerin, 45 minutes to the Baltic Sea beach or 50 minutes to Hamburg City.

In 7 Autominuten erreicht man das Zentrum von Wismar. In ca. 15 Minuten, ist unsere sehenswerte Insel Poel mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Die Küste der Insel zeigt sich als rauhe Steilküste oder mit schönen breiten Sandstränden. Restaurant/ Einkaufsmöglichkeit 3 Min. fußläufig entfernt ... :))

Family-friendly vacation in Uhlehuus

The apartment is part of a thatched farmhouse from 1850. In 2012, we carefully awakened the Uhlehuus from its slumber and restored it sustainably. The apartment is located in the main house, where we also live, but is completely separated and forms a self-sufficient unit with its own entrance, and its own large terrace with garden. The spacious property is fenced. Your children and your four-legged friends can romp undisturbed and make friends with sheep and goats.

Relax with the whole family at this beautiful place. Our vacation home is quietly located in a village of 15 inhabitants in a small forest. It is wonderfully quiet and invites you to relax. Especially for families with children, our farm is a nice place to relax and unwind. In the large garden with sheep, chickens and a cat, there are plenty of opportunities to play and explore. The Baltic Sea is a 35-minute drive away., Schwerin 20 minutes, Wismar 20 minutes.

Apartment "Gardenview" just outside Schwerin

In front of the Schwerin gates is our over 100-year-old residential building with adjoining new building with two individually designed apartments. The "Gardenview" is suitable for both business and individual travelers. It is located on the 2nd floor and offers a light-flooded living room with a king-size bed, desk and small dining area with high chairs. An adjoining kitchen, as well as a separate shower room complete the apartment with garden views.

Welcome to our dreamy and quiet vacation home - only 4 km from the Baltic Sea. In the middle of our wonderful orchard is our spacious house with a cozy eat-in kitchen, in which a fireplace provides coziness in cold weather. In summer, the large terrace with a shady apple tree invites you to eat together. In the lovingly developed adjoining house there is a sauna with bath and shower and an idyllic relaxation area with outdoor shower.
