The condo is a studio layout, but the queen-sized bed is tucked away in a secluded nook of the apartment. Comfortably sleeps 2 people, and there is a foldout futon for an additional guest. Perfect for anyone looking for a modern, relaxed and comfortable space! Guests will have access to one free covered parking space located at the apartment complex. Free WiFi - great space to get some work/business taken care of while in town. The WiFi is also connected to a SmartTV, where you can access your personal accounts such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Vudu, YouTube, Pandora, and other channels. If you are in town for a conference at the AT&T center, you will be happy to know it is only 6 easy blocks away, 4 blocks from the UT campus, 8 blocks from the Erwin Center, 11 blocks or a $5-$7 cab ride to 6th street or the football stadium. The Austin Convention Center is just about a mile and a half away, for a leisurely stroll through downtown or a $7-$8 cab ride. Starbucks and Wells Fargo are 2 blocks in one direction, sandwich shops and pizza 2 blocks in the other. There is a 7-11 in both directions. Great Indian food and neighborhood pubs in easy walking distance. This home away from home is near everything you need! Parking is an assigned spot in a covered garage. The garage has low clearance (7 feet) and the parking spots are regular, car-sized spots. Large SUVs and trucks will stick out too far. There is paid city street parking ($1/hr) during day time, and it is free overnight and on Sundays. Host is not responsible for loss, theft, damage, injury or cancellation fees. Airbnb recommends that all guests purchase traveler's insurance.

Due to the coronavirus, we’re taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations. The carriage house has been professionally cleaned using CDC recommended guidelines. The builders of this space spared no expense on the details and finishes of this property. It is exquisite! The private entrance makes it feel like your own slice of Austin. Speaking of slices: check out East Side Pies for pizza nearby and The Wheel, Whislers, or Kitty Cohen’s for a cocktail! The Mueller development is 2 miles away where the H-E-B grocery store is located if you’re looking to cook your own meals in the kitchen. Guest access is through the right-side fence gate while facing the main house on property from the street. Access codes will be provided upon booking. The carriage house includes a balcony patio that guests may use. We’re available when you need us and you can also have all the privacy you like. We’ll gladly give you suggestions of things to see and do in Austin. The home is set in the East Austin neighborhood of Chestnut and a short drive away from vibrant eateries, BBQ joints, brewpubs, and parks. The University of Texas is nearby and Downtown’s iconic music venues and nightlife are minutes away by car. The MLK, Jr. Red Line light rail station is a short 8min walk from the unit and can be used to get into downtown or to AustinFC soccer games! Uber or Lyft are recommended to get around Austin. You can usually find one of the scooters 🛴 down the street near MLK Blvd as well. If you have a personal vehicle or rental car you may use street parking in front of the main home.
