This home is a spacious converted barn with 2 bedrooms, and kitchen/family room, studio, loft and one bathroom. It is set in the woods just a few miles from Lake Superior. Being off the shore of Lake Superior has it's advantages--it is quieter and at night so dark that if it is clear you can reach out and touch the millions of stars in the sky. The grounds are ample with a large covered patio and fire ring. Reservations less than 2 day prior please message us we will do our best to accommodate.

Private entrance offers storage for outdoor gear and electric hookups for ebikes in the enclosed porch. There is off street parking for two vehicles or trailer. Centrally located on 7th avenue (Main Street) close to shops, restaurants, direct access to snowmobile trail routes and located near CC ski trails and hiking trails. Walking distance is about three blocks to Burlington Beach.

The interior space features a cozy sleeping area with a bed dressed in light blue and accented by a patterned wall hanging. A comfortable sofa occupies one side, while a dining area with a round table and chairs is positioned nearby. This off-grid, solar powered hideaway is on the Knife River just a few miles outside of Two Harbors, Minnesota. The cabin itself is loaded with comfort. A full kitchen, propane refrigerator, solar powered lights and a gas fireplace/furnace offer the conveniences of home. There is an outhouse and firewood for the outdoor firepit. You will have to bring your own water for drinking, but we provide hand and dish washing water at the sink. We have coffee with pour over utensils, dishes, spices.

The cabin is nestled on a wooded point, surrounded by lush greenery and rocky shoreline. The clear waters of Lake Superior gently lap against the bedrock, creating a serene and tranquil setting. Outdoor seating areas and a picnic table are visible on the grassy area.
