The "Lieblingsnest" is located in a quiet cul-de-sac in the municipality of Kating on the North Sea peninsula of Eiderstedt, not far from the Katinger Watt nature and bird sanctuary, the romantic harbor town of Tönning and the North Sea seaside resort of St. Peter-Ording. The special bird diversity of the Katingen Watt is the inspiration for the bright cozy feel-good oasis. I look forward to meeting you!

Dat Melkhus – North Sea air and sauna

North Sea air and sauna! Our detached vacation home "Dat Melkhus" was built in 1870 and is located in a small settlement with a quiet neighborhood. Here, at the turn of the century, butter was made by hand for the surrounding communities. Today, the once small house has been expanded to 140 square meters of living space and has been lovingly renovated by us since 2022. Perfect spot for relaxation, nature, cycling, golf, water sports and culinary delights. More information about the house can be found in the photos.

Tiny house on the pasture by the Baltic Sea

Tiny house with wonderful views! The cabin is located on the edge of a huge meadow. Make bread on a stick by the campfire and enjoy the view in the distance. Huge windows remove the boundaries between inside and outside. In the tiny house there is a kitchen with fridge and stove. The bathroom has a shower, as well as a modern dry separation toilet. The Baltic Sea with great beach cafes is only about 20 minutes away. With us you will find absolute peace in a very special place to stay.

This lovingly renovated house from 1850 offers modern country house style, three bedrooms, two shower bathrooms with underfloor heating and a cozy living area with a Swedish stove. Fischerkate Tant 'Emmi in Tönning

Our cozy vacation home Tant' Emmi is located in the center of Tönning. Within walking distance you can be at the harbor, the marketplace or the Eiderdeich. The vacation home has 2 bedrooms and is suitable for up to 5 people. Tant' Emmi is prepared for children to visit. There are books, toys and board games. There is a shed in the garden where you can park your bikes dry. On the terrace you can sit comfortably and there is a barbecue grill.

Cozy living in a separate apartment. Location: Our apartment is in the heart of the Eiderstedt peninsula on the Schleswig-Holstein North Sea coast. St. Peter-Ording, the district towns of Husum and Heide are each only about 25 km away. The small port town of Tönning, (Eidermündung) has plenty of shopping and is only 3 km away. Here you will find a beach and a swimming pool. The Eiderstedt peninsula has a very good network of bike paths.

Our "large" apartment is 85 m², on the 2nd floor of the birthplace of Friedrich von Esmarch. The heart of the apartment is the open kitchen with seating, which leads to the spacious living room. The entrance hall leads to the small bedroom. The main wing connects the shower room, with double sink and rain shower, to the large bedroom. The whole apartment is equipped with white floorboards. So, have a nice time!!

Small happiness - secluded location, sauna

Lovingly and thoughtfully, we have created a fantastic apartment on 70 square meters for 2 (up to 4) people on 2 levels - the sleeping area is located in the light-flooded upper floor. Please note that the only door is the bathroom door - the rest is open. We have tried to build as sustainably, ecologically and high-quality as possible - the colors are from the chalk period, the paints are water-based.

Sanderling Vacation Home

Our spacious Danish-style vacation home is located on the Eiderstedt peninsula and is located in the idyllic village of Kating. The nearly 500 m² property offers an unobstructed view of the sheep meadows opposite and of fantastic sunsets. The single-story vacation home "Sanderling" can accommodate up to 4 people and has a living area of 65 m² plus an outdoor terrace and garden.

Am Eider Deich Nature Reserve

The charming apartment, renovated in 2022, is located on the ground floor with its own entrance and terrace and garden. Directly on the Eider dyke overlooking the bird sanctuary on a quiet street (Sackgasase). Linen package (sheets / towels) 20 euros per person (net amount). The laundry package/cost is included in the cleaning fee.
