The city of Leer is also called the "Gateway to East Frisia" and has about 35,000 inhabitants. There are numerous leisure, recreational and adventure opportunities. There is a pedestrian zone, a harbor and a beautiful old town. It is only 50 meters to the East Frisian hiking trail. There are 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed. We shall supply a travel cot on request. Included in the price are bed linens, towels and cleaning supplies. Amenities: hair dryer, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, etc.

The Old Painter‘s House, Ferienhaus am Wasser

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus mit großem Garten in direkter Wasserlage am Kanal mit traumhaften Blick in die ostfriesische Landschaft. Das Haus wurde umfassend saniert und renoviert. Wichtig war uns dabei, den ursprünglichen Charakter beizubehalten und diesen mit heutigem Wohnkomfort zu verbinden. Regionalität, Nachhaltigkeit und Individualität waren unser Kompass. Am Rande des historischen Dorfkerns in ruhiger Lage, nur einen Katzensprung zum Deich, zum Hafen und zur Fähre nach Ditzum.

We offer this special and comfortably furnished upper floor apartment, which was completely renovated in 2023. Ideal for two people, without children, without animals. The bathroom is equipped with underfloor heating, hairdryer, shower and shampoo, and the kitchen even with a dishwasher. The infrared sauna offers pure relaxation. Within walking distance is a small forest with a pond, or you can hop on your bike / rental bike and discover the surroundings! Shopping is 1.5 km away.

We live on the farm ourselves and are available at any time. The house was newly built in 2022. The apartment can accommodate up to 4 people. There is a double bed and a sofa bed. The cottage is located in a quiet cul-de-sac location on the Ihler Meer. Shopping, pharmacy, the monastery of the Ihlower Forest, as well as the swimming beach of the Ihler Meer can be reached in a few minutes on foot or by bike. Ihlowerfehn is an ideal location to explore all of East Frisia. Various coastal regions can be reached in about 45 minutes by car. In the immediate vicinity is a restaurant with beer garden as well as a beautiful playground.

Gut Winkel, an oasis of well-being in Ammerland

The apartment was completed in May 2022 and is located on the 1st floor on Gut Winkel, the oldest existing farm (1746) in the municipality of Apen. It is very high-quality and lovingly equipped and can accommodate 2 people on about 75 square meters. Garden use is of course allowed. We live here together with our dogs, cats and horses and are happy to welcome you to this idyll. The farm has a very special soul that needs to be discovered.

The villa is located 5 km from the center of Emdens on the Emsdeich near the Petkumer Deichvorland conservation area. Why not end a long dike walk with a cozy evening with friends by the fireplace!
