Interior design is Scandinavian - light & airy. Recently built, the double-glazing, insulation & heat pump will keep you toasty warm in winter & cool in summer. This is a studio across a courtyard from the main house which is a lovely villa set in a large formal rose garden on the banks of Waikato River. There is a good sized room with queen size bed and seating area plus en suite bathroom and kitchenette, and access to a barbecue. There is a Beauty Therapy clinic on the property. I am situated23 kms north of Taupo and so within easy travelling distance to Rotorua and all the volcanic plateau sights, plus the mountains of central North Island.

Tui Cottage - Self-contained and cosy chalet.

Tui Cottage is a cosy and private haven, with queen-sized bed & bathroom, totally separate from the main house. Tui bird song greets the day. You may be visited by Punkie, my tortoise shell quirky-tailed cat. Glimpse lake views between the trees. Tui Cottage is a non-smoking property. 5 mins walk to a local shopping centre & approximately 5 mins drive to the lakefront. Taupo is a most scenic place with many activities available & numerous tourist attractions to explore. #LOVETAUPO

The woolshed - pet friendly luxury retreat

Converted woolshed, set on a small farm of 25 hectares. We have cows and horses. We are 15 min from Taupo town. The Woolshed is separate from our home, giving you privacy during your stay. From the deck area/French doors all you will see is farmland! We are directly off SH1, down a long drive way, making this a great location for those wanting a place to stay during a road trip, but also quiet and peaceful if you want a few days away!

Dreamy sunsets over Lake Taupo & Ruapehu

Our modern home is 15 minutes from Taupō yet feels like a private hideaway. Quiet and secluded, it looks out to Lake Taupō and Mount Ruapehu, with stunning sunsets. Ideal year-round, it has outdoor areas with BBQ, large windows and a double-sided fireplace. Whakaipo Bay is 5 minutes away for swimming or walking, with plenty of bush tracks nearby. Not suitable for children. Washing machine, hairdryer, toiletries and iron not provided.

Rural private guesthouse in a quiet country garden

Tucked away in a very private tranquil setting only 9km from Taupo is our 1 bedroom guesthouse with separate kitchen area, lounge and bathroom. Surrounding the cottage is an expansive deck where you can take in the stunning country garden or just sit back and listen to the silence. Plenty of parking. WIFI available - not fibre, but get 15-20mbps. Sometimes WIFI is erractic for reasons unknown. Sorry no pets.
