Enjoy our secluded 1850s solid brick farmhouse. Completely renovated with modern conveniences, including central AC, heat, & high speed WiFi. Five miles from the Shenandoah National Park and Luray Caverns. Short walk to beautiful Lake Arrowhead. We also own the downtown cafe, Broad Porch Coffee, so are local and can help if you ever need anything. We are family friendly and love dogs. Our goal is to provide a clean, safe, comfortable stay! Nestled between Mount Tom and Double Top Mountain and at the edge of the Shenandoah National Forest, Little House is the perfect starting out and ending point for a peaceful and relaxing stay in the Appalachian Mountains. Little House is located at the edge of our 7 acre property. You'll enjoy the bucolic atmosphere of our farmette which includes use of our shared sitting area on Strother Run. The sitting area is shared with the main house which is rented or used by our family periodically.

Cozy Cabin on beautiful farmland w/ GOATS!

Cozy cabin - built by my dad and I - located on working farm with ponds, fields, privacy, and wildlife. Working farm crops range from alfalfa, wheat, and corn. There are cattle on the backend of the property. And yes, we have three Nigerian Goats who you can visit with! The farm was part of the Long Family Farm which was land granted to them by Thomas Jefferson in the early 1800's. My father purchased his section of the land late 1980's.

Quiet and cozy cabin located on 4 wooded acres with an expansive deck and patio with fire pit. Perfect for couples. You will have breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Shenandoah River. Ten minute drive from the quaint town of Luray and 3/4 mile from access to the 71 mile Massanutten trail system. To maintain the rustic atmosphere, there is no TV but cell phone service is excellent (AT&T and Verizon) and we provide Wi-Fi.
