The apartment on the upper floor of a detached house offers plenty of space to feel good for two people and a toddler. The apartment is located in a quiet residential area in 15 minutes walking distance from downtown. The bright living room and south-facing balcony invite you to relax. You can park your car right by the house in the carport. Bicycles can be stored in the garden house. If you are looking for a quiet, fully equipped accommodation for your stay in beautiful Kappeln, you have found the place.

In the center of Maasholm village stands one of the oldest houses (built around 1728). It was restored for two years and now combines the charm of the historic fisherman's cottage with modern comforts. The result is two duplex apartments with plenty of privacy and a feel-good atmosphere. The first floor impresses with its characteristic, visible wooden ceiling (2 meters to 2.2 meters) and bright, friendly rooms. The upper floor was opened "airy" to the roof ridge.

Experience the overnight stay in the middle of nature in the conservation area. A magical circus wagon, made with predominantly ecological material, solar power and with simple but cozy furnishings. It has an eco-toilet, a solar shower and a small kitchen with running water. The oven spreads cozy warmth and is heated with wood. The swimming area on the Schlei is 500 meters away. The Viking bike path passes directly by the house, also suitable for horseback riding.

Apartment directly on the Schlei

The apartment for one person is freshly renovated (January 2025). A spacious balcony (with awning) invites you to linger with a panoramic view of the Schlei and the folding bridge. The location is one of a kind! Right above the fishing port and yet central (5 min walk to downtown). Your private bathroom is directly opposite the apartment (2 steps across the hallway). Our house is an absolute non-smoking house (not even on the balcony!) and we do not allow pets!

Our "Liese" for 2-3 persons is Nordic clear, bright and open. From 2021 to 2022, the basement of the house was comprehensively core renovated and provided with a tidy interior. The approx. 60sqm apartment includes a large integrated living and kitchen area, a spacious bedroom and a modern bathroom with rain shower. The rear exit of the house leads into the garden - it extends directly to the Schlei and has its own jetty with bathing facilities.

A spacious garden is featured, bordered by neatly trimmed hedges and trees, including a large tree casting dappled shadows on the lush green lawn. The house in the background is framed by an inviting, well-maintained landscape.

Apartment by the red beech

The apartment is located at the end of a street. The large garden invites you to barbecue and relax. A seating area and garden loungers are available for our guests. For children, there is a swing and slide in the garden. The nearest shops are in Kappeln and Süderbrarup, both about 6 km away. The Schlei (5 km) and Baltic Sea (15 km) are also within easy reach. The area offers many opportunities for activities for young and old.
