This house became famous in 1976 when the famous actress Elisabeth Flickenschildt wanted to realize her dream as a farmer in the countryside here, but died in 1977.

You will find peace, charm and the special atmosphere of the rural north while walking on the dyke.

Our apartment is located in the beautiful Alten Land, near the Lühe pier (about 15min walk over the dike). Stade, Finkenwerder, Buxtehude and Hamburg (45min.) are easily accessible by car. But also as a day trip by bike to explore well. You will love my accommodation because of the scenic location, the proximity to the water and the city of Hamburg. Our vacation apartment Nordlicht is located in the attic (2nd floor) and has a great view of the Elbe and the nearby orchards. The apartment has a loggia from which the passing ships on the Elbe can be admired. The large skylights also invite you to look at the busy shipping traffic. The dike is in the immediate vicinity and invites you to take a walk. The Elbe cycle path leads directly past the dike.

Our simple little house offers a well-equipped pantry, shower room/toilet, dining area, cozy sofa and tiled stove on the first floor. On the upper floor (space-saving stairs, see photos) box spring bed (1.40 x 2.00 m), satellite TV, large desk with view.
