Each apartment has it's own private balcony, nestled in the beautiful palm tree-populated resort-like courtyard. The courtyard, gazebo and grill for all guests to enjoy. Free high-speed internet provided. Bedroom TV features AT&T U-verse and a "Smart TV" is located in the living room. Full kitchen with espresso machine, coffee press, (Starbuck's coffee provided) gas stove, new appliances, and most needed cooking utensils. Cleaning supplies, dish drainer, and garbage can are located under the kitchen sink. Each bathroom is complete with shampoo, antibacterial body wash, and bar soap. Air conditioning and heating provided. Garage space for a small to mid-size car. In-room safe box, luggage rack, wooden hangers, iron and board. Dual-pane windows with Blackout shades in the bedroom. All beds are brand new, (Simmons World Class Cresthill, Plush Pillowtop Mattress) using only high-quality hotel bedding standards. White sheets and Egyptian cotton towels, blankets, and comforters are provided and washed with each new guest. Mattresses are covered with a moister barrier protector, as well as a "Sure Guard Mattress Protector", providing an allergen barrier, and dust mite protection. Dark towels are provided for dirtier jobs, and are located in the bathroom closet. Here you will find the hair dryer bar soap, extra toilet paper, and a few cleaning supplies. Laundry facility is located at the back of the house, and is complete with all laundry needs, and a vacuum cleaner should you need it. Here you will also find beach chairs, towels, umbrellas and coolers. After arriving at the main address, 1255 Essex St. San Diego, CA 92103, proceed to the gated entrance on right, and enter into the garden courtyard. Go to back of property and take the stairs to left to Retreat #1 For safety, all outdoor spaces are under video surveillance at all times. All doors and gates are keyless, and must remain closed at all times. All door codes for accessible spaces to the front gate, front door, laundry room and garage, will be provided one day prior to your arrival. Guests will also have access to the BBQ/garden area, and Laundry Room. Although I do not personally greet all of our guests, I am often at the property, and live only a few blocks away. Please know that I am always available through phone call or text messaging, and you should feel free to contact me anytime should you need anything. Hillcrest is centrally located immediately north of downtown San Diego and accessible to 3 major freeways. Many beaches are 10-15 minutes from the property and restaurants, shopping, and nightlife are all within walking distance. Walking Hillcrest and Balboa park is a common activity for both locals and visitors. Bus stations and public bicycle rental program "Decobike" are at a walking distance; Uber and Lyft are very popular in San Diego. If you are driving your own vehicle, we offer free garage for small to mid-size cars. The apartment is small (cozy) and was designed for two people only. One couple or possibly two single friends, with one person sleeping on the sofa sleeper. The bathroom is located off the bedroom, which might make a stay difficult for two friends. - Laundry Room hours are from 8am to 8pm, so we don't disturb other guests. - All beach equipment, vacuum cleaner, and plunger, can be found in the laundry room area. - Garbage receptacles are located by the entrance of the garage, under the steps of the apartments on either side. Please tie all bags before disposing.

Private Malibu Getaway with White Water Ocean Views

Fire up the barbecue on a spacious private deck as the sun sets over the Pacific. This intimate and modern guest suite offers spectacular panoramic ocean views. Jump into your own private plunge pool (6’x12’) to cool off, or take a short walk to the beach. This is the perfect spot to escape the crowds and relax in your own secret hideaway. Our place is a beautiful one bedroom multi-level modern apartment with amazing views and loud waves. It is perfect for 2 people but can accommodates up to maximum of 4 people: queen size bed in the bedroom, and a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. Bedroom, bathroom and a walk-in closet are located on the upper level of the apartment. Bathroom has a shower cabin. Washer and dryer are in the bedroom behind the curtain. Open plan living, dining and kitchen area are on the lower level of the apartment leading to the big outside deck with the small pool. Kitchen has all the amenities - refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, gas stove/oven with plenty of dishes and cooking utensils. We provide light breakfast - coffee, tea, oatmeal. The pool is at the deck level, just right outside of the apartment main entry. The pool can be heated for an extra daily fee of $50.00 BBQ is available, if you wish to grill something. Our home is a non-smoking environment. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property, either inside or outside. We politely ask to respect our guest policy and not to have more than 4 people in the apartment. Guests that don't follow our policy will be reported to Airbnb immediately. We are located right off PCH up the hill. You can access the apartment by going down the long set of stairs along the blue railing on the left side of the property. There is plenty of free street parking at the apartment. Always available in person, via phone or text, if you need anything. The guest suite sits in the lower level of the main house on a quiet street. It's within walking distance to Duke's, Old Malibu Courthouse, and La Costa Country Mart. The house is located in eastern Malibu. Why wait - come and experience the beautiful Malibu firsthand! Many people rent a car or use a car service like Uber or Lyft, but public transportation is also available. Metro line bus #534 (bus stop is 3 minute walk from the house) takes you to downtown Malibu and Santa Monica, and from there you can transfer to the Expo train line which takes you to downtown LA and elsewhere. There are also Big Blue Bus and Culver City Bus lines available in Santa Monica. It’s almost never winter in Malibu: sunny and warm, gorgeous sunsets and sunrises. Malibu always offers a great escape from a busy city to enjoy the ocean, beach and sun.

The one bedroom, one bath unit was recently remodeled (in 2017) and includes all new kitchen, bathroom, full size laundry and air conditioning. The large 400 square foot private deck has new outdoor furniture with views of Mission Bay and gorgeous sunsets year round. Enjoy a show on the 50" 4K LG smart TV in the living room which offers Netflix, Amazon Video, and major network TV stations. Cook a delicious meal in the kitchenette complete with a mini-fridge/freezer, microwave, electric stove top, coffeemaker, and more. If you plan to head to the beach, the storage ottoman is secretly a "beach box" containing a couple of folding chairs, beach toys, towels and a small cooler. The unit is stocked with coffee, shampoo, conditioner, laundry supplies, iron, and more. Filtered water is provided via a faucet on the kitchen sink. Easy check-in via a numeric keypad on the front door with the code provided prior to arrival. Plenty of street parking is available. We love meeting new people and live next door in the main house so we are available most anytime. We are both from San Diego and still love to explore the latest new spots so we are happy to give recommendations. Bay Park is a great central neighborhood originally built in the early 1940s. It was recently voted the most livable neighborhood in a recent San Diego poll. Check out the restaurants on Morena Boulevard, which are just a few minutes' walk away or explore all of the major attractions of San Diego easily. The house has easy access to I-5 and is only 10-15 mins from downtown, Sea World, the San Diego Zoo and the airport. The private guest house is located across from Mission Bay and within walking distance to bay, market, restaurants and coffee shops. Uber/Lyft is $8 to $14 to most of San Diego's main attractions. There is a bit of white noise from the highway down the hill near Mission Bay when out on the deck but nothing too bad, just worthy of mention. The unit has double paned vinyl windows so it's quiet indoors.

This elegant studio apartment boast views amongst the best you will find in Los Angeles. The Silver Lake Reservoir is at your feet and the Griffith Park Observatory and the Hollywood Sign loom in the distance. It is truly a breathtaking view. Not only are the views outstanding, but the unit itself is an architectural diamond. Not a right angle in the 600 sf unit. Designed by the architect Tom Marble and finished in 2013, the unit is made up of triangles and sliding doors of glass. This unit was built for pleasure. Enjoy the 47" television with cable including HBO. Entertain outside on the spectacular deck. Luxuriate in the gorgeous tile shower & sleep on the fabulously comfortable queen size bed with down duvet. This place has to be seen and experienced to believe. Private unit with huge private deck.
