In an independent house, we have an apartment with two separate rooms with separate entrance on each 25m2, which may also be rented together, and a large shared bathroom and toilet. One with a double bed with possibility of an extra bed. Kitchenette with refrigerator, stove, microwave, small oven, coffee maker, electric kettle and service. Dining table, small sofa and TV, radio. The second is with a double and a single bed. Refrigerators, coffee maker, electric kettle and service, dining table and sofa, and TV and radio. There is access to the garden with its own tables and chairs. Wonderful World is an old village school from 1829 amidst Hornsherred between Isefjord and Roskilde Fjord, close to the fjords, historic sites, stately homes and castles, 20 km. from Roskilde, Frederikssund and Holbæk and 50 km. from Copenhagen.

Architect-designed summer home close to nature and a jetty

The vacation home is the perfect getaway. It was designed by an architect in 2022 and contains all the necessary rooms in just 50 m². There is a large, sunny terrace and garden furniture. All the beds are new with good mattresses. From the house, you have a beautiful view of nature. There is a short distance to Roskilde Fjord and Skuldelev Harbor, where there is a jetty. This is the Danish summer resort at its very best. The decor and service are of high quality with attention to detail. It's the perfect place for a couple who want a vacation in a beautiful location

Cottage with wood-burning stove and fire pit

Nice cottage of 90m² with loft in quiet surroundings, close to the fjord and a beautiful common area with a jetty in the summer months. There is no view of the water from the house. Everything is included in the price, electricity, water, towels, bed linen, tea towels, and basic foods such as oil, sugar and spices. The wood-burning stove is the main source of heating, there is electric heating in the bathroom, a little underfloor heating which is turned on when the electricity is cheap. The garden is completely undisturbed with room for games, sports and play.

Family-friendly cottage.

Relax with the family in this cozy home. The house is located at the end of a closed road with its own driveway and large garden. While the adults relax on the terrace, the children can play on the trampoline or in the playhouse. Should you feel like a dip, the house is about 300 meters from Roskilde Fjord, with a swimming bridge and mini beach for the little ones. The house is located about 20 km from Roskilde, Frederiksund and Holdbæk, and it is a good 45 minutes by car to Copenhagen. Electricity is NOT included in the rent. (see other details)

Relax in peaceful surroundings in a cozy, bright cottage. The garden is fully fenced so dogs can run free. Make s'mores over a campfire, grill on the terrace or take a walk in the area, close to the sea. Only about 300 meters to a public bathing jetty and pebble beach. With protected nature in Ådalen, there are plenty of opportunities to hike and enjoy the beautiful surroundings along the sea. The house is small but charming in a real cottage style. 5 minutes by car to groceries, 45 minutes from Copenhagen, 20 minutes from Roskilde or Holbæk.

Outdoors, the house offers a large south-facing terrace with a pergola, a wilderness bath, a sauna, an outdoor shower, and table tennis. There's a movie theater and billiards indoors - perfect for both relaxation and fun. In addition, there are 4 bedrooms and 1 loft, so there is plenty of space for families and larger groups. We can't wait to welcome you in.

Directly to the Fjord

Our summerhouse is situated on a small island, Oroe, in Isefjord. It sits on a bluff, almost at the end of a gravel road, with direct access to the fjord from the house. We provide Danish traditional summer house-hygge in natural surroundings with a twist of modern facilities. The house is our private home, open for guests only 10-12 times a year ( the original idea behind AirBnB) In general, we attempt to be as sustainable as possible i.e we always try to repair rather than to replace.

Charming smaller cottage

This place has it's own charm and simplicity, with nature and the Isefjord close by, as well as other excursion opportunities. The house and ground are also child-friendly for families with smaller children. There is a grandmotherly atmosphere here and many facilities. You can immerse yourself in the calmness and awareness that is present and use it as a retreat from everyday life. There is peace enough to open to creativity, or other processes that require time and peace to unfold.

Relax with the whole family in this peaceful home. With panoramic views over beautiful fields. Scenic area 300 meters from the water. Possibility to fish and cycle in a quiet area. As something completely unique, wild mouflons walk around the area, so be careful when driving on the roads. There are about 200 of them. Bring your fishing rod and waders and catch a fish in Roskilde fjord. If you want to go to town and shop, it's 15 minutes to cozy Frederikssund.
