Our favorite place for cocktails and live entertainment is just a 3 minute walk around the corner, The Snug Harbor. Great little getaway spot far from the hustle and bustle of city life. The noise of the nearest highway is over a mile away. Experience the relaxing sounds of the surrounding forest while you enjoy all the comforts of home inside or, if you're of the fit and adventurous variety, make your way through the trees to the babbling brook you can fall asleep listening to at night. Everything you can possibly need is less than a half hour's drive away from this place of peace and quiet.

We are located 2 miles from the entrance to the Mary's Peak recreation area, the highest spot in the coast range. During winter, there is usually access to snow, only a 15 minute drive from our cabin to the top of Mary's Peak. Alsea Falls is a 25 minute drive. The coastal town of Waldport is a 45 minute drive, Oregon State University is a 20 minute drive away, and University of Oregon is 1 hour south of us. Cabin is on our private property where we live as well.
