The bake house, with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and completely timeless comfort, is located separately on the property. Next to the residential building (40 m away) is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, purely minimalist! Adventure instead of luxury.

It can accommodate up to 5 people, with 2 bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, living room, terrace and garden. A separate entrance, free parking and barbecue facilities are also available. The bright, cozy apartment is located on the first floor of a former restaurant and measures about 60 m². Very close to Lake Seeburg, the medieval town of Duderstadt and the university town of Göttingen, the small town of Bodensee is located in the middle of Eichsfeld. From here you can explore the surroundings by foot or by bike as part of smaller and larger bike tours. The Harz National Park with Northern Germany's highest mountain, the Brocken, is suitable for hiking.

The property and the area is also excellent for family vacations with children. From the property, many beautiful sights can be visited, such as the nearby towns of Braunlage, Goslar, Bad Lauterberg or St. Andreasberg.

The summer house

Some time ago, we transformed the old horse stable into a "summer house" through some renovation measures. In doing so, 85 square meters of something unique. We hope that our future guests will feel very comfortable here. Look at the posted photos and let them work on you. We only offer this vacation home in the summer months, as HEATING in winter simply costs a lot of energy. A fireplace is available for the transitional period.

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.
