Places to stay in Savannah

Places to stay in Savannah
The Starlander resides within a 1920s townhouse that's part home (mine), part guest house, part experimental art project, and a little bit library (I have a few books). I've travelled to over 70 countries, and my favorite stays were not in hotels, but in small guest houses and hostels with private rooms available. I liked the home-grown character of these places, and the chance to interact with the hosts and other guests. I hope to give others a similar opportunity in Savannah at the Starlander.
I call this one "The Coffee Suite" because it's downstairs along with the full kitchen and front sitting room (and front porch), and therefore the most convenient suite for getting up and enjoying your first cup of coffee in the morning! To be clear - YES - the suite includes its own private bathroom accessed only by those staying in the Coffee Suite.
The walkable Starland District is home to creative professionals, art students, restaurants, and galleries (and soon a food truck court and a couple of micro-breweries). It lies within the Thomas Square Historic District, the first "streetcar suburb" of Savannah, just south of downtown proper. Together, they are the coolest upcoming area of Savannah - new stuff is popping up all the time.
  • Jason’s Starlander Suite is a lovely gem in Savannah. He was very welcoming and recommended wonderful places to us.

  • This was an amazing catch in Savannah! Loves the charm of the home and in a great location. Jason is an awesome host. Next time we are in Savannah we will stay here again!

  • Cute eclectic home. Very close to downtown Savannah. A really cute up-and-coming neighborhood! The place is really clean and comfortable

  • Jason’s place is exactly what we needed for 2 nights in Savannah

    Scott2020-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • Crunch time GO, delayed flight and my arrival was just after midnight. Super easy access, entrance and signage made this immediately accessible, instantly hospitable. Attention to detail provide better than pictures suggest. The layout of the communal space was filled with historical elements and imagery connecting the location, as purposeful placement. Jason's curation contextualize his background as an urban planner tethering his appeiciation second only to Ogelthorpe himself. This discovered in brief conversation the following morning. Even more of interest offer these colloquialist objects in a warm and relaxed atmosphere resembling passive interludes found in a bohemian cafe. Guests will NOT be at a loss for local recommendations in any direction. Streets were clean, quiet and everthing seemed to be within walking distance or 6 min. Uber. Would return in a heart beat! Well done!

  • Highly recommend. Great location, clean, safe, and charming.

  • Jason is an exceptional host and ensures that you have everything you need. Check in and out is super easy and it’s a perfect location!

    Travis2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Don't miss out on staying in Jason's amazing home! Creative and quirky decor, an amazing collection of books, and a lived-in quality throughout the house that enabled us to feel right at home as soon as we walked in the door. Jason stayed in close communication with us during our stay, making sure we were comfortable and making recommendations. Great stay! We will definitely book with Jason the next time we're in Savannah.

Small but elegant room with a twin bed for a single traveler to retreat in one of Savannah's historic homes. A great way to experience Savannah in an over the top Victorian home with 14' ceilings and claw foot tubs! I also have a selection of bicycles available in several sizes to fit almost any rider and include a complimentary, self serve breakfast.
This house is one of those most iconic in this part of Savannah with beautiful marble floors and stained glass windows. I've gotten really creative with the colors and the decor and would love to host colorful, interesting people who appreciate it! The room is small and ideal for guests of shorter stature but perfect for any single traveler on a budget. "This is house has the magical ability of making you truly feel home away from home. The rooms are close enough to meet your neighbors and exchange stories but the space at large is big enough to feel like you have the whole place to yourself! This house is stunning and straight out of all your dreams of old southern charm. The travelers retreat was PERFECT and just the right size for one. This place is something special to uncover in Savannah, STAY HERE!" -- Jessica, December 2017 Please Note: This room is located on the second floor and there is no elevator or handicapped access.
We're in a part of town most locals call the "Victorian District" which is full of beautiful 1880's - 1920's houses. We're not near River St but from here you can enjoy Savannah like a true local and feel free to explore the town on our complimentary bicycles.
  • Wanna try out one of those big, old Savanna houses while keeping to a budget? This is a great place to start. Bicycle distance from everything and bicycle provided!

  • Rabo’s place is beautiful! The house is huge, with lots of other visitors staying in it. Everyone staying there was so nice and welcoming, and even though I didn’t meet Rabo, I was told everything I needed to know about the house and all of my questions were answered super quick! The house is close to downtown, I used one of the bikes to ride into town both days and it only took me like 10 minutes! The bikes were so convenient! The house has so much information about Savannah and things to do/places to eat. Also, the room was very cozy and cute. A little small and no TV, but I was only there to sleep so I didn’t mind! It’s an amazing place and definitely recommend, especially because of the bikes :)

  • Was quaint and very nice hospitality.

    John2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot. The retreat room is very small but nice, excellent for the traveller just looking for a spot to sleep in, that’s close to all of what downtown Savannah has to offer.

We live in a historical home built in 1911 within walking distance of Forsyth Park and a 5 minute drive to the riverfront/downtown area. We are located in a quiet suburban area with many great restaurants and coffee shops also within walking distance. SHARED spaces with other guests are a Big Kitchen, 2 Full Baths, and a Balcony. Coffee provided! Amazon Fire TV in room and Free WIFI. My brothers, plus me along with a dog live long term. Free street parking. Any other questions please ask
The room is in the back of the house and has all the amenities. It’s right next to the bathroom and the kitchen for your convenience. One full bed, a desk, two side tables, closet, dresser, reading chair, fire tv stick, and free WiFi!
It is a transition neighborhood so some areas are not ideal walking places. Exit to the left and it’s 5 minutes to many fun trendy eateries. Exit to the right and you’ll find rundown buildings and gas stations.
  • Great location and very economical. Space is small and tidy but has everything a traveler needs.

***This room is for SOLO traveler's only*** Perched on the second floor of The Deux Chevaux (a.k.a. The 2CV), a lovingly restored 1890s Victorian home in the heart of the Starland Arts District, the Hideaway boasts beautiful natural light and a private porch. Located within easy walking distance of awesome restaurants, bars, coffee shops, art galleries, and boutiques, we're also only half a mile from Savannah's famous Forsyth Park. Find us on Instagram @2cvsavannah and #2cvSavannah !
"This is one of those places that, as you are leaving, you begin planning your next visit back. Everything about my stay was stunning. From the artistic decor to all the thoughtful amenities, I felt completely at home. I would absolutely recommend this as a place to stay. I can’t wait to come back!" -- Jackie, December 2019 "I couldn't have asked for a better location, atmosphere, and host. The home is situated in a unique neighborhood with a variety of restaurants, boutique shops, and less than two miles from the historic area with plenty of parking. Prior to my visit I was given all the information needed to let myself in and get situated. I enjoyed the freedom and flow of the property. During breakfast there was usually someone to meet and converse with and evenings were always quiet. The fridge was stocked with all the beverages you could possibly want. Anna certainly considered the details. I was truly happy with the communication before and during my stay. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a step back in time with the amenities of today. Great time away." -- Tarsheka, May 2017
The house is conveniently located just half a mile from Forsyth Park in the emerging arts district known as Starland, named for the iconic Starland Dairy building at its center. There are a plethora of coffee shops, restaurants, art galleries and local watering holes within walking distance, and historic downtown Savannah is only a 20-25 minute walk or a short Uber ride, drive, or bike ride away!
  • Love staying here every time I come to Savannah! I don’t come to Savannah unless this place is available to book! Super nice and great location! I’ll keep coming back :)

    Lauren2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • I HIGHLY recommend this place, great technology accessing your room, fast and reliable response, stylish place yet very welcoming and comfortable. Private rooms with a perfect touch of vintage settings. Over all the best experience ever

    Dyago2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Great value. Very walkable to Forsyth and an inexpensive uber to the historic district. I had a great stay, Anna was very responsive, and I would absolutely recommend/stay here again.

    Audrey2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Deux Chevaux is full of thoughtful touches that made it the perfect home away from home in Savannah. The room I stayed in had a private porch, which made staying in almost as appealing as venturing out. Deux Chevaux has several guest rooms and shared bathrooms/living areas (I think this is clear in the listing), which provided the opportunity to meet fellow travelers. The home had one of the most thoughtfully-stocked kitchens of any AirBnb I'd ever been in, for those mornings where you not only want to make your coffee at home (and drink it on the private balcony), but you want to choose what kind of milk to put in it. The location is a little removed from the downtown area, but it was easy to get there when I wanted, and there are plenty of neighborhood spots nearby.

    Jacki2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • This place is spectacular. The house is charming and the hosts are amazing. It was a really sweet touch when cookies were brought to the house on Valentine's Day.

    Kelly2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • I absolutely adored this place! There were so many lovely little touches throughout the entire house that really added to the experience. I loved that there was a little mailbox to send off postcards right in the kitchen, and a little free library out front! Having some breakfast foods included (cereal, bagels, juices, coffee, tea) was much appreciated, as was the water in the room. Having access to a private porch was also wonderful. While it was a little cold during my stay, I imagine use of the porch during the morning/evening would be especially lovely in slightly warmer months.

    Rachel2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • This is a dreamy house in a great neighbourhood. The place is stylish and welcoming with great design details and personal touches everywhere. A little out of the way for some perhaps, but what you get are some great coffee, food and beer spots that would be great finds anywhere, and there's a great vibe around - do check out the brewery just up the street! Its on a tree-lined street and totally sets the tone for a stay in Savannah.

This is The Starlander's "XL Suite" because it is exactly that - extra large! Rather than being just a bedroom and bathroom like the other suites in the townhouse, this upstairs suite includes its own private living room with kitchenette, coffee maker, TV, DVD player, and movie collection including many that were filmed in Savannah. It's really a one-bedroom apartment with its own private spaces outside the bedroom itself. To be clear - YES - the suite includes its own private bathroom accessed only by those staying in the XL Suite.
The Starland District is within the Thomas Square Streetcar Historic District of Savannah. Together, they are the coolest upcoming area of Savannah. Check out the recent "Lowcountry" episode of Ride with Norman Reedus (and his guest Dave Chapelle) if you don't believe me. They filmed quite a bit here.
  • Jason’s XL Suite is the best value you will find in Savannah. It’s a thoughtfully decorated space that makes you feel right at home. Would love to stay here again on future trips to Savannah.

    Ryan2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • At first I was hesistant to book a place not in the historic district, but was immediately taken aback by this space. There is a shared space, but plenty of privacy and size in your suites for all the guests to unwind and feel at home. Jason is awesome and offers so many great recommendations, he even had a map of the neighborhood with all of the best spots highlighted right by the door! The Starland is a perfect up and coming neighborhood that anyone can enjoy. My girlfriend and I hardly wanted to leave the area. Theres still a ton of historical houses, spanish mosh and oak trees around these parts, but also new trendy food spots, beers, and chic coffee hubs that will fit anyones taste. We will definitely book this suite again on our next trip down.

    Gabe2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great place with very nice design and a really spacious suite with everything you need. It's in an area called Starland with nice cafes and restaurants about 30 minutes walking or an 8 minute car ride from the historic district.

    Christopher2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay at Jason’s. He provided great tips for local spots. Space was nice and comfortable. Bit of a hike from downtown savannah, if that’s what you’re looking for (45 min walk), but the area around his place is also very cool

    Sean2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Jason's Home is awesome. The decor inside is really warm and screams local influence. The XL suite comprised of nearly the entire top floor, and was an amazing arrangement. Didn't use much of the house or the kitchen but the kitchenette in our room was a great addition. A very short drive or Uber into the historic district and you are on your way. I would recommend the place to all travelers looking for a place in Savannah!

    Sawyer2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Jason has a great location a five minute drive from the heart of the historic district, we had a great trip.

Kick back on the green velvet couch around the statement fireplace with exposed brickwork in this bright condo. It’s perched on the third story of a Victorian house dating from 1891. During the day, the condo is flooded with light from high ceilings and bay windows. The blackout curtains and plush king bed will help you sleep-in in the morning!
A bright, spacious, 3rd floor condo less than a block from Forsyth Park
The condo is less than half a block from Forsyth Park, where there's always something fun going on. There are festivals, a Saturday Farmers’ Market, and tree-lined streets. It’s a scenic 15-minute walk to downtown Savannah and its 22 squares. SVR-00716
  • Great place with tons of character. Very clean and we appreciated the hosts accommodating us checking in a little early so we could get ready for a late afternoon wedding.

    Melissa2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Michael and Sarah’s place is SUPER cute, fun, and clean. We really enjoyed our stay, and we look forward to visiting Savannah and staying again in the future! The hosts provided us with some bubbly for our celebration, and gave us great suggestions for dinner, hot spots, and must sees. GREAT experience!

    Susannah2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Truly a five star experience within walking distance to everything !

    Richard2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • This place was great for a stay in Downtown Savannah. We were able to walk most places. The hosts had little essentials and everything easy to access.

    Emily2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • This property is gorgeous! It has been tastefully decorated and it felt like we were in Europe! The attention to detail and thoughtfulness of the hosts was outstanding. We have stayed at many different places and this property was by far one of the best! The location is great and the bed was comfortable. For those who love a good, no frills breakfast, we highly recommend Clary’s on Abercorn St. It was good food and only a ten minute walk from the property. We were only in Savannah one night but would definitely book this apartment again!

    Cheryl2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay in Savannah was just what we had hoped! The apartment was very clean, modern, and comfortable. The hosts were also very helpful in giving us recommendations of things to do and places to eat. They were always very quick to respond to questions. We also loved the self check-in option.

    Amber2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely place to stay. Very close to Forsyth Park and walking distance to SCAD and the river. Easy parking too. Loved it.

    Pamela2020-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • This is our second time staying here at Michael and Sarah’s beautiful home. Savannah is already beautiful and this space captures the town’s charm very well. It is perfect for a couple looking for a romantic getaway or just a fun weekend in Savannah. 10/10 again and again.

  • Adriana is a great host! It's a new place and Adriana keeps it very clean. Location is a few blocks from south of Forsyth Park. Keep in mind you may be sharing the house with a few others, my room and the one next to mine had walls that were a bit thin, but still a good experience! Quiet hours are 9pm-6am so a good place for young adults/professionals.

  • Highly recommend for long term stays. Very clean and great location! Forsyth Park, local restaurants, and shopping within walking distance. Adriana has the amenities, kitchen supplies, etc you may need for a comfortable adjustment to AirBnB living.

    Jennifer2019-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • Adriana is an amazing host! She is very sweet and kind! I stayed at Adriana’s place during my senior year at Scad. She helps me so much on everything and I feel like she becomes my sister. She always keeps the house very clean and make sure that everyone feel comfortable living at this place. I live in Savannah for 4years and this is place is definitely located in the best part of Savannah. The house location is a walk distance to the Forsyth Park, grocery stores, and yoga center! The neighborhood is nice and close to the coffee shop and one of Scad building so It’s very safe! Adriana always cares about guests and pays attention on making the room better and more comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!!!

King Suite ✦ French Doors to Courtyard ✦ Boutique Hotel ✦ The Present Hotel Group just launched this luxury boutique hotel collection in Savannah. The mix of historic and edgy design comes from HGTV Designer Elizabeth Demos in collaboration with the Baby Grand Agency. From your front window you''ll overlook Crawford Square with Horse-Drawn carriages passing twice an hour. Enjoy the custom, boutique art collection. Take comfort in the plush beds & linens. Have a drink in the private courtyard before taking a short walk to Downtown Dining & Nightlife. This estate is truly a piece of Savannah history and has maintained so many original details. Despite these beautiful nods to the past, there are also so many modern updates including a brand new luxurious en suite bathroom, brand new designer furnishings, and individually climate controlled rooms - important in Savannah!  Your ground-floor suite is private with it's own private french-door entrance from our chic courtyard. This suite features a luxurious King bed and a Queen sleeper sofa. A great work desk and instaworthy interior design add to this suite's popularity.  Relax and have a cocktail or glass of wine in the courtyard. If you''re feeling social, sit down for a cigar with the locals in the gazebo across in Crawford Square.
Beneath a canopy of Civil War-era Live Oak trees draped in Spanish Moss lies Crawford Square. One of Savannah’s storied 22 historic squares, it’s home to remnants of the old cistern system as well as the city's oldest basketball court. It’s also home to The Present, just steps across the quiet street. On any given afternoon, you’ll find neighbors enjoying cigars under the gazebo with a glass of wine while kids play in the square. Feeling social? Pull up to the benches with a glass of wine — the locals will love to have you. Restaurants, bars, fitness centers, and parks are all walkable from The Present, as so is downtown Savannah and the Savannah River. For the ultimate day-trip, the beautiful beaches of Tybee Island are just a 25-minute drive away. Happy exploring.
  • We loved staying at this Airbnb. This was my second time staying and I couldn’t be more impressed. The room is lovely and decorated well. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio at night. It was a wonderful location and it was very easy to find parking.

    Sara2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • The Present is really lovely - stylish and a great vibe. The location is a little out of centre, but totally walkable (10-15 mins) to most other parts of the historic district. Not cheap, but nowhere in Savannah is!

    Rob2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • A cozy spot in close proximity to many fun restaurants and spots. Within walking distance (up to 20 minute walks) for most fun downtown locations.

    Isaiah2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Stay was amazing and Jaime was super helpful when we had questions. Would definitely stay again!!

    Jamie2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • This lovely, private room is very well appointed. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is beautiful. There are thoughtful touches like a wine key and wine glasses. The courtyard right outside the door is a great place to relax. You can walk all over the historic district from the hotel. Parking in the street is inexpensive and easy. Great location, very quiet.

    Kay2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great space, comfy bed, excellent location. 👍

    Anna-M.2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommended! This room has so much character. Brick floors, plank wood ceiling add to the modern decor in this room. The bed was wicked comfortable, spacious shower, coffee and tea selection was a nice touch. Retro-modern room and would highly recommend to anyone. Walking distance to everywhere

  • Beautifully restored motel rooms a short 5 minute drive from center of Savannah. I really loved the colors of the motel doors and the color scheme of my room. They have preserved tile from the 60's in the bathrooms and tubs are nice and deep. Bed was super comfortable. Loved this place and Savannah.Definitely want to come back. They are dog friendly with a good amount of land to walk your dogs on with a dog station included so you can scoop and thow away. Super value for the $ spent.

  • I was very impressed by the cleanliness, hospitality, and affordability of this place! It is located fairly close to downtown Savannah. I would definitely recommend booking with Nik if you’re looking for a nice affordable place to stay in Savannah. The mini-fridge was quite small, but overall the room had all the basic amenities. The lady at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful; she gave us a list of nice places for entertainment, food, and drinks. I will definitely be booking here next time I’m in the area!

Combine history with comfort! Come stay with us and experience all that this beautiful city has to offer! This room is suitable for 2 (queen bed) there is also a long chaise lounge in the room. It is adorned with vintage prints and local art.
If you are seeking the hustle and bustle of River Street, this may not be your bag. BUT if you are looking for a true Savannah experience surrounded by local businesses and families....this ones for you! This area was first developed for middle class street car commuters-and is one of the most exciting neighborhoods in Savannah right now (per the New York Times).
This house is located in a diverse neighborhood in an up and coming part of Savannah with one of the lowest crime rates in the city. However, it is an inner city environment and not a gated community.
  • If you love all the features and flaws of historic homes like we do, this house is great. Big rooms, tall ceilings, great stairs, architectural details, art, and super clean. Centralized neighborhood undergoing revitalization including renovations here with a friendly and thoughtful host. Great value of a safe home base to launch into historic downtown, plus nearby walk-able hang outs. Also a nice room to spend a night in if you need to recharge!

This beautifully renovated modern condo on the 2nd floor of our gorgeous Victorian home was completed in September 2016! The kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, appliances, and furniture are all brand new! The original heart pine floors have been refinished and are a perfect reflection of the history of this Savannah estate. Enjoy the Southern weather on a private balcony, or take a walk to the famous Forsyth Park less than half of a block away! SVR-00563
Natural light flows in from the large, original windows that wrap around the condo. High ceilings and restored floors capture the history of the 130 year old home, and our updates add some modern comforts! We think it's just the right blend of old and new!
The condo is less than half a block from Forsyth Park, where there is always something fun going on! From festivals to the Saturday Farmer's market, to just walking the perimeter and enjoying the tree lined streets, we feel that we are situated in the perfect area for exploration and fun! We are also a scenic fifteen minute walk (or two minute Uber ride, if that's more your speed) to the downtown area, including Broughton Street, City Market, River Street, and all 22 of Savannah's charmingly historic squares.
  • Michael and Sarah’s place was by far the best we could imagine for an updated apartment in such a convenient and prime location. Michael and Sarah were super hospitable and we’re there to answer any questions we might have. We would definitely stay again when we come back to Savannah.

  • Great location and great home

    Kelly2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay! The apartement is huge for 2 people, there is enough parking in front of the house (there is a reserved parking spot behind the house as well) and the location is great!

    Kerstin2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at this charming AirBnB. Michael and Sarah are so thoughtful and attentive. There was a little “hiccup” with our checkin and they went above and beyond to make things right. That is when you know you picked the right place. They want their guests to truly be happy and enjoy their stay. The place was perfect, especially the his and her sofas lol! The bed was so comfortable as were the pillows. I actually purchased them through Amazon before I left lol! They even had a blow dryer with a diffuser. Big plus for this curly haired gal! And a magnifying mirror in the bathroom which is a must have for “glass” wearers! The locations was perfect and quiet. We could walk everywhere within minutes. There was a Kroger nearby too. The coffee machine is a Keurig and they supply the pods. We cannot wait to come back to Savannah and we know where we will be staying.....right here! Thanks Michael and Sarah!

    Suzanne2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Michael and Sarah’s place was so clean and perfect for just the two of us. The private parking was definitely a plus especially in the city. Check in was easy and the location was great!

  • Wonderful condo & locale.

    Jan2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • This place is amazing! Very close to downtown and pretty much anywhere you need to go. The beds and the couch are very comfortable. The little instruction notes around the house made it seamless to settle in. Overall truly enjoyed the hosts and the space. Would highly recommend.

    Tafy2020-01-30T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome in every aspect and there is a reason for all of the five star reviews. I would say five stars does not even do justice to the complete package of the house, style, communication, amenities, and comfort. This is an old house that still has so much of the charm that makes Savannah what it is. It is truly appreciated to stay in a house that retains the original look so much while also having the updated kitchen and bathroom. It is the best of both worlds. The floors, fireplaces, windows, and all of the decorative molding are beautiful. Little details like having a bottle of wine, coffee k-cups, and Q-tips shows how much thought Michael and Sarah put into everything. There are a bunch of games and books so if you do want to relax and take a break from walking around Savannah, there are options available. It was too chilly and breezy during our stay to sit out on the patio with a glass of wine, but that is also an added bonus at other times of the year. The house is very clean and well maintained. Street noise is definitely not a problem here and we never heard any noise during the time we were sleeping or anywhere in the unit. If you want to be within steps of Forsyth Park and enjoy staying in a beautiful house that the owners have put thought into the details to make it a wonderful stay, this is the perfect place. Sarah was always very quick with responding prior to booking and throughout the process. Thank you also for letting us drop off our luggage after an early flight in the lobby/walkway area. The coded locks makes is convenient for going in and out also. My overall impression is even with all of the five star reviews, everything was even better than that. It is tough to impress with high expectations, but Michael and Sarah have accomplished that. Thank you!

  • Our stay was great. The unit itself is very well kept, clean and open. The entry process was extremely easy and as soon as I contacted the owner to let them know I had not received any information about check-in they were quick to get me what I needed. My only complaint is the 10:00 AM check out. I totally understand that the unit needs to be flipped, but 10:00 AM is early. Overall it was a good experience.

  • Jennifer's loft is right in the thick of the action in Savannah. Within walking distance to everything you need and close to public transportation and tour bus stops. The loft was exactly as advertised - modern, clean and with all the amenities you need. Only two words of warning: 1. because you are right downtown, parking will be an issue if you are driving. Be prepared to "be creative" or pay a fair daily amount (street parking free from 8 pm to 8 am) 2. never did figure out the TV set-up and the signal was very choppy. Normally would not be a concern, but we had a very soggy Savannah stay, so we would have liked to have that option on occasion. A great place to stay when visiting Savannah! Thx, Jennifer.

A Premium magical space with six skylights with views of stars and whimsical oaks and priority access to open-air treehouse. Nestled in a historic fishing village just minutes from the hustle and bustle tourism of Savannah. Get inspired here! Propose here. Meditate here. Love it here. Enjoy a clawfoot tub en suite. Use the kitchen. Listen to records. Pet the cats. If booked, please check out the on-site equally extravagant Parlor Room https://airbnb.com/h/diamond-oaks-treehouse-parlor-room
This property is nestled in a unique area of Savannah often overlooked on famous Bonaventure Road, half a mile from Bonaventure Cemetery. The locals cruise up and down the road on the weekends. Much more space and quiet than the central historic district. This area was the local fishing village and you can still get shrimp for 5 dollars a pound and cook them on the grill. The suite is an attic conversion with 6 skylights looking out at sky and magical oak branches drenched with Spanish moss. (if it is booked, please check out the Parlor Room) There is a porch on one side and an entire triangle of picture windows on the other. Brand new pillow-top Queen size bed for a single or couple and a 32 in. Smart TV. Wifi, parking, 4 porches, a tree house (yes, an open-air treehouse that you can elect to sleep in), and more in what many say is their "favorite house in Savannah" With your permission, other guests may want to play in the treehouse too, but it is clear that Skylight Suite guests have priority. Even though there are windows and skylights everywhere, there are curtains and shutters you can use if you wish, but honestly no one can see in because you are up in the trees. I encourage letting the light pour in! You can use my kayaks and bicycles, have a fire in the backyard, or maybe even grill something. I am flexible! The suite has its own door upstairs that separates the bathroom, reading nook, and bedroom from the rest of the house. I suggest always keeping the door closed to keep out the wonderful managers, our cats. Tink and Poof are the kids and Wei is the old man. Downstairs kitchen is shared. We now have a Whole Foods a mile away so most food and drink is natural and organic. But above all, the best way to learn about this home is to read the reviews on both rooms. To date, it has been featured in Savannah Magazine, South Magazine, Glamour, and This Old House. I did most of the work on the house. I am a poet and artist so the vision is very inspired by that. There are mementos from my world travels in every space. Imagine having to dust such a space! And be shrouded by magnificent oaks and magical moss makes upkeep all the more challenging. But you, the guest are worth it. So we go the extra mile. We are also animal lovers and have cats. Presently there is old man Wei, and two new little girl kittens, Tink and Poof.
My neighborhood is often overlooked by tourists so you get the benefit of a wonderfully intimate experience with the "real" South, complete with shrimp boats, shacks, and mansions. Ask us about Savannah Secrets. We love our community here in Thunderbolt and we love our unique businesses. Savannah is wonderful as well, but we encourage you to explore our community. You have landed in a unique place that many people unfortunately miss. Here is a little blurb from our local museum which you should visit. It is only two blocks away on the corner of Mechanics and Victory: The Town of Thunderbolt, a small town who owes its name to a legend of a lightning strike that created a freshwater spring on the Wilmington bluff. Native Americans were found to be among the first inhabitants. Thunderbolt was a settlement which evolved into a shipping point for local plantation needs which also serviced the river traffic. In 1856, the Town of Thunderbolt was incorporated as Warsaw and then began its history as a processing port for the fishing community. In 1890, Georgia State College was founded for the education of African Americans. This college continues to be a historically black institution and is known today as Savannah State University. In 1921, Warsaw's name was restored to Thunderbolt and the seafood processing continued to play a large part in this community's development. In 1939, yacht racing became popular and saw the construction of a yacht basin. Annually, the "Blessing of the Fleet" was celebrated until recent years and shrimping evolved into the primary seafood product. Today, the Town of Thunderbolt remains a unique community with a distinct personality all of its own. Families dwell in this town for many generations which becomes a part of our town's rich history. We do have our own businesses and I am actually a professor at the above mentioned Savannah State University. Here is a list of local businesses that you can support! FOOD (everything is in walking distance): Tubby’s Tank House on River Drive. Seafood with lots or porches and a party atmosphere. Take a left out the door and go a half mile. Tortuga on River Drive. Quieter and more quaint and finer dining. Just before Tubby’s on the left. Walk across the street to our local park and have a look at the Intracoastal Waterway. Coach’s Corner on Victory. Need some pub food to check out the game? The best sports bar in town is right around the corner. Take a right out the door, a left on to Whatley, and a right on Victory and there you will see it! Thai Restaurant on Victory. Across the street from Coach’s Corner. Upscale authentic Thai! Desposito’s at the boat landing across the river. Fresh seafood in old school humble setting. You might want to drive here simply because you have to go over the bridge. But it is a two minute drive. Really. Take a left out the house, a left on Victory over the bridge, and then your first left and wind back to the boat landing. You will see it there. Convenience: There is a Parker’s and Chu’s Convenience store/gas stations on the corner of Whatley and Victory. Fresh Veggies? Shrimp? Vintage Shops? Tattoos? On the corner of Mechanics you will see an old gas station and to the right is a YES, a boutique with vintage stuff. It is our little bohemian corridor. On the weekends on the corner of Mechanics and Victory you will find a fresh produce stand. And further down from Tubby’s on the left you can buy shrimp right off the boat! If these are not available, of course there is a Whole Foods. Head west on Victory and take a left under the Truman Parkway Overpass. Along the way you will see some mini-malls, pharmacies, a Starbucks, and many other commercial areas all within two miles. And if you want to really remember your visit, get a tattoo at Riverside Ink. OF COURSE: And of course, you must check out the historic Bonaventure Cemetery, but don’t forget to watch the sunset at Honey Park right around the corner at the end of Mechanics! Enjoy your stay in Historic THUNDERBOLT! For other events and general history, be sure to check out WWW.THUNDERBOLTGA.NET
  • Honestly it’s a fantasy being here. Savannah itself is amazing and beautiful but I could have never left the house and been just as satisfied. It’s an adventure in itself. It’s worth it I promise. Living there would be a dream for me.

  • We’ve stayed at a nice B&B in Savannah before but this Airbnb was on a completely other level. More of an experience than anything. First thing I did was go up in the treehouse and take a nap under the oak trees and Spanish moss blowing in the wind.. that alone was worth staying here. We’re not a huge fan of cats but they were very friendly and no issue at all, we quite liked them. We’ll be staying here again if we ever get the chance.

Your private access to the carriage house, complete with queen-size bed, bathroom and kitchen creates the intimacy you require.
Beautiful Ardsley Park neighborhood. Beautiful historic homes, gardens and parks. Close to Sand Gnat stadium, tennis courts and tree-lined streets. Perfectly located 2 miles from the Historic District, 1 mile to Whole Foods Market, and convenient to Tybee Island.
  • A wonderful, cozy, private carriage house that is smartly laid out and supplied for a long (or short) stay that’s located a block from the cool, trendy Starland neighborhood. I had my pup with me, and the place was great for him with many windows and a queen bed that he could perch himself on with the perfect vantage point keeping watch out a window. Next time I’m in Savannah, I hope this place is available. The hosts were wonderful and attentive. Cheers!

  • Jill & her husband Ben were great! They were very easy to communicate with and if there were an issues regarding the unit they were on top of it immediately to get it resolved. The place was really cute and just perfect for me and my 10 week stay. The location was really great as well because it was in walking distance of many great parks, sights, restaurants, downtown, and stores. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting to enjoy the true Savannah life during their stay.

    Maren2018-07-21T00:00:00Z

  • I loved staying at Jill's place! I stayed here for 4 months while I was in Savannah for work. The carriage house was adorable, the back patio area was great for relaxing and having a drink after work. Jill and her family were so welcoming and responsive when I had questions - Savannah is definitely the hostess city. I recommend this place to anyone who will be in Savannah for a bit and would definitely stay again.

Impeccable renovation with perfect modern amenities while still maintaining many of the historic details of this 1860 home. Right downtown, so walking to all the best restaurants, sights, and more are right outside the door! SVR-00958
From the exposed beam ceilings that have been meticulously preserved to the comfy beds and clawfoot bathtub, this beautiful downtown home makes for the perfect Savannah experience. The location can't be beat, walkable to everything!
This charming home is smack in the middle of some of Savannah's most historic downtown properties. With that being said, guests can expect the normal hustle and bustle of a thriving downtown area right outside their door. If you are a guest that is looking for a more quiet, rural location, we don't think this home is the right one for you, as noise may be a problem...but, if you are looking to be right in the middle of everything downtown Savannah has to offer, we would be so excited to host you!!
  • Beautiful place and great location for exploring downtown Savannah! We loved it!! Sarah was a great host! Can’t wait to go back!!

  • A great spot with plenty of space, super clean, cute and convenient!

    Nicole2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • My friends and I highly recommend this beautiful townhome! The location is perfect for walking to all of the historical spots, amazing restaurants, and fun activities that Savannah has to offer, from Clary’s Cafe and The Cathedral of St. John just 3 short blocks away to River St approximately 1/2 mile away and everything in between! Sarah was very helpful with tips of special places to visit and local tidbits of information, and the wine bottle welcome was an extra bonus. The house is gorgeous and spotless with many original features still in place and pristinely preserved. All necessities and toiletries are provided and even some extra snacks and kitchen staple items are included. We absolutely couldn’t be happier with our stay in Savannah!

  • Loved the history of the home, the beds were very comfortable and the amenities were great. Loved the location and the ease of check in and check out.

  • This was a great place for my daughters and I to stay for our weekend together. It was centrally located to the places we wanted to visit and easy walk everywhere. The home was exceptionally clean and comfortable too. We loved the authentic nature of the home yet it has been restored with modern amenities. We love Savannah and will definitely be back!

    Jenny2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This is an excellent home base for visiting Savannah. It has high end hotel cleanliness and style in an authentic and historic structure. Sarah was super accommodating.

    Fran2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • This is a home from the past with modern amenities. Kitchen is beautiful and home is very comfortable. We were located within walking distance of many historical sights and district. There is a bit of traffic noise with passing cars in front if you are a light sleeper. It is a charming home and host is great.

    Karen2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Pictures are accurate! This quaint historic home is a duplex style nicely appointed and a clean space. Kitchen has outstanding appliances! It could use some extra dishes/utensils if you are cooking for the group but all essentials are there including basic seasonings and evoo. My girlfriends and I were celebrating a get together and it was a comfortable space and we love historic buildings, this one is honored well. Especially nice having the half bath downstairs and the bedrooms upstairs with the full bath. Convenient walking distance and we felt safe here, I could easily spend several days here and feel at home.

If booked please see my other listing Cabin Apartment 2 under profile link. Your own private retreat in the city. An urban cabin designed as an open modern apartment. Practical elements share the space with a few timeless pieces. A galley kitchen provides all the necessities, and the extra long claw foot tub makes it complete. Floor to ceiling windows look out onto an expansive and peaceful garden with beautiful natural light all day. It is situated separately behind a 1914 colonial revival house, and both share a large wooded lot with mature water oaks. Listed rates include hotel/sales taxes.
This is a bright and open 'loft' space as your own apartment in a private garden setting, all centrally located in Savannah's Victorian district, within the Thomas Square neighborhood. The best description is an urban cabin. I strive to keep it as open as possible for less clutter and still provide you with a comfortable stay. There are practical, modern elements mixed with vintage pieces that hold their own in the space. There is a galley kitchen with a fridge and stovetop oven. The windows provide for great natural light all day, and for any afternoon thunderstorms it's the best view on the property. The garden is expansive and very peaceful. It's situated behind a large colonial revival house (1914), and both sit on a 1/4 acre lot. There are 70 ft tall water oaks that shade the property. And open as it is, it feels very much like a private retreat. If the space is available I will give a discount to visiting writers for longer stays of a week or more. If you are looking to book for a month or longer, I can also provide a discounted rate. Please inquire further when you are looking to book. This is as central as you can get south of the historic squares, less the congestion. There is a city bus line (#14) that stops on the corner of Abercorn and 35th, but otherwise it is 5 minutes by car from here to River Street, 15 minutes by bike (with a dedicated bike lane on opposite corner), and about half hour if your hoofing it (unless you stop for a beer to escape the midday sun). There will be a small variety of breakfast items provided, usually including organic or locally sourced coffee, milk, juice, eggs, cereal, and some beverages. (Note: there are shades and curtains on every window for privacy. I intentionally edit out any televisions, but wifi is provided in case you want to stream movies or music on your own wireless device.) If there is no availability on the calendar, you may try the upstairs unit (which does have a small TV and cable): https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/1133081 THANK YOU to past guests, Mike and Olivia from Chicago, for providing me with beautiful new listing photographs. The main photos in the series were taken by Mike Killion from Chicago.
This is in the Thomas Square neighborhood, situated between Forsyth Park to the north and the Starland District to the south. Originally one of Savannah's streetcar districts, it developed in the early 1900s as the city expanded southward. Within walking distance to many great restaurants, including Cotton & Rye, Local 1110, Elizabeth's, Blowing Smoke, Back in the Day, Starland Cafe, Bull St. Taco, Atlantic, and Sandfly BBQ. Also near Bull Street galleries and a few of SCAD's major buildings.
  • Richard’s place is very cool—open and modern with great lighting. The highlight of the space is the beautiful, functional, and well-appointed claw foot tub. Perfect spot for a romantic get away. (Might be a smidge challenging if traveling with a platonic friend, given the lay out of the space.) The carriage house is centrally located to lots of things, and we were able to walk all over the city. Would absolutely stay here again!

    Anastasia2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • We loved this place! The layout was very nice and the decor was awesome (my wife and I took pictures to bring back ideas for our own house). Richard was great and left everything you would need for a nice vacation. He was very responsive. My wife left her pillow and he mailed it back just hours after we contacted him. I would note that, if you are wanting to spend much time on Broughton (something you will probably want to check out) you’ll have a good 30min walk. The walk is very nice and I actually enjoyed it, but, if you don’t want it, you can Uber inexpensively.

    Jaxon2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Richard’s cabin apartment was everything we were looking for and so much more! We could’ve spent the entire trip in the apartment it was so beautifully decorated and felt like home. The clawfoot tub was an amazing touch, I could literally lay in it for hours. The kitchen was stocked with little things like orange juice, yogurt, granola, teas and even had almond milk, which was so nice! On top of it all, the outdoor space was so romantic. Richard was such a sweet host and so communicative! And the location made it so easy to get downtown, in a 15-20min walk or in Uber’s as little as $5. There were so many cute coffee shops nearby too. I’m already recommending this place to so many friends and hoping to visit again soon!

    Chanelle2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Richard’s place is wondrous; the overall aesthetic and cleanliness floored me. It has enough creature comforts to make one feel considered and well cared for. His communication was fast and friendly. Overall, Richard is a stellar host with an equally stellar home; I could not ask for more.

    Christopher2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • We really loved staying here for the weekend. The space was beautiful and unique. Especially liked the claw foot tub and sipping on tea that was provided in the house. It was about a mile and a half walk to the downtown district, so my husband and I decided to walk instead of worry about parking downtown. Richard and his sister made us feel very welcome.

    Tabitha2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We felt so well taken care of in a space that was very well appointed and thoughtfully arranged. The tall windows and lovely light, together with a well stocked kitchen made our stay magical. The fireplace was also a cozy bonus, and we would return to this place in a heartbeat! Richard is a wonderful and attentive host with great communication. Cannot recommend more highly!!

    Terri2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Such a cute carriage house! My wife and I greatly enjoyed the privacy and quiet retreat, as well as the thoughtful supplies and arrangements and decorations. Can't wait to come again!

  • Just a really good value... pets fees are nominal, the place is clean, they leave out complementary water and their A.M. coffee is very good. For the price, you can't do better!

This house is in a quiet neighborhood I have a great neighbor, no barking dogs. 4 miles from downtown Savannah. I work long hours, so the house is very quiet. It is a very peaceful environment for all who stay here. Easy walking distance to several parks. It is centrally located to many points of interest such as downtown Savannah, Tybee Island, Skidaway, Habersham Village (which includes restaurants, grocery store, coffee shop, and pharmacy) and hospitals.
The room is in the back of the house away from the street. The street is very quiet with very little through traffic. There is plenty of storage within the furniture and closet. I supply any additional linens and towels. There is plenty of street parking as well as a long driveway going to the back of the property. The kitchen is huge and is available for you to use. You are welcome to use the hang out in the living room and dining room. The house was built in 1940 and has simple but stylish details throughout the home.
I have lived in this location for the past 19 years and many of the residents have lived on this block for at least 10 years and we all look out for each other making the neighborhood a safe and friendly community. The age range is from 2 years old to 75. I would say the average age is around 30. Many of the home owners have dogs that they walk ear;y in the morning and again in the evening. All the pets are very sweet.
  • This is a wonderful quiet and safe area to stay. Close to everything and such a wonderful host. She was so helpful and caring in my transition to Savannah. She is a 6 star in my ratings.

Perfect for the perfect Savannah experience. Outstanding Location. You can walk to all attractions. Renovated 800 sq. ft. Safely park your car out front and no need to drive anywhere. Granite, Brass, Old Pine, Roku & Cable, QUEEN mattress, new appliances, W/D. Deck. Full Kitchen. Safe. Charming. Romantic. Private deck. SVR-00479
It's romantic and practical, feeling like vacation, yet has all you need to feel at home. The deck is a wonderful place to have your morning coffee, dining or just being outside. The mural of Paris is actually wallpaper. It's private, yet there's another apartment above you, so partying here through the night won't work. Let all the great bars and restaurants serve you as you have an amazing time. Usually the only time you hear your neighbors is between 7-10pm. But it's an old house without modern insulation between the floors, so being tolerant and mindful of this will help your experience. The bed is outstanding and there are many styles of pillows to choose from. The kitchen is fully functional for cooking with pots/pans/knives/utensils/etc. There's a bath/shower and I provide 2 and 1 pert shampoo and conditioner also body wash for your convenience. There is also a pack and play in bedroom closet. Due to fire code, sadly I had to plug the flue to the fireplaces. Thousands of guests have enjoyed this space as expressed in the reviews.
The apartment is in a quiet pocket of the historic district. It’s a short stroll to and from River Street. Many locals live here and are happy to speak with visitors offering recommendations and friendliness.
  • Please use what I just wrote on the previous page.

    Jacqueline2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Loved this place. It was as pictured. Great location, easy to walk everywhere from the river to Forsyth Park. We parked and never used the car. As others have stated, you can download the app for parking in front of the house. But we parked for free about 3 blocks away. Comfy bed, decent shower, and Roku! You are on the middle floor so you can hear footsteps overhead when people are walking around. It wasn't annoying but it was noticeable.

    Nina2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Great location. Very walkable to locations and if not walking ubers are cheap and quick. The spot is perfect for 2-4 people and the porch is super cute. Very clean and convenient.

    Tayla2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Great location! Accommodations worked well for my husband and me. Enjoyed our stay.

    Sherri2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was an ideal location to all of what Savannah has to offer. It was stylishly decorated and had everything we needed to feel at home while away. Our only small hiccup was a heavy footed guest staying in the apartment above us the first night. They came in after we were asleep and pounded around for a while before settling down. This was in no way the hosts fault, but if you’re a light sleeper you may want to consider taking the top floor apartment. Overall it was wonderful!

    Jim2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Diedrich’s was amazing. The listing described the apartment perfectly. Location was close to the Riverwalk and plenty of close restaurants within a few blocks. Parking is paid during 8 Am - 8 PM, but as described in the listing and check-in directions - downloading the Park Savannah app made it super easy. It is an older townhome that is sandwiched between other townhomes so you do get some ambient noise because of that but a sound machine, ear plugs and a box fan is provided in case the noise is bothersome. The hosts are responsive at all times very quickly and want to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of their guests. I would love to stay here again if we visit Savannah in the future.

    Katie2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • What a lovely spot in the heart of everything Savannah! Everything was in walking distance or a quick drive. We genuinely enjoyed our time here and would recommend this stay to friends in the future!

    Jordan2020-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • Diedrich's place was fantastic. The location was perfect, we were able to walk all around Savannah and back to our apartment, because it was close to everything. The apartment was very clean and the codes to enter in and out of the apartments were much more convenient than having to worry about a key. I would definitely stay there again and I would highly recommend.

My home is close to Forsyth Park, the historic district, art, culture, great views, restaurants, dining and family-friendly activities. You’ll love my place because of the location, the people, and the close sites. This home is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and groups. To highlight the amazing art community of Savannah and our beautiful home, we wanted to share a few shots recent film that was shot in our home. We are honored to be a part of this!
Brand new never hot water heater! The space is based on an open concept and it's absolutely beautiful. There is ample space for dining, cooking, entertaining and just relaxing. This home is on the third floor so just something to note if you have any trouble with stairs. Additionally the home has brand-new beds, plenty of furniture and any dishes you might need for cooking. I pride myself on the cleanliness of my rental and know you will be happy with every aspect of this home.
This neighborhood has plenty of good restaurants, shopping and most importantly Forsyth Park. It is truly a three minute walk and is the best place to have a good breakfast or just spend the day relaxing. Additionally being in the historic district we are very close to all that the city has to offer!

  • What a wonderful place to find while driving drive from DC to Lakeland Florida! We just couldn't make it all the way and it needed a place 2 rest. My husband and I ended up spending 13 hours there because it was so wonderful and comfy! We really appreciated her for allowing us to come in, stay one night and then continue on our trip. It was very clean and contemporary. I can see staying there for a week with my family and being very happy there!

I’d recommend this home to anyone looking to come to Savannah to have a great time and experience the city as locally and authentically as possible! If a residential neighborhood filled with art students and families of folks who look differently than you will make you uncomfortable, then I’d recommend a hotel. If things like dust on blinds, leaves on the patio, or scuffs on the stairs are what will determine whether or not you enjoy your stay, I’d also recommend a hotel. It just depends on what you’re looking for as a visitor, and if you’re unsure about what may be the most suitable for you and your needs, I’m happy to chat with you at any point to help you determine that!
Within walking distance to many iconic Savannah destinations, including Forsyth Park (15 minute walk/4 minute drive), Bull Street Taco (4-6 minute walk), Foxy Loxy, Blue Door Cafe, Woof Gang Bakery, Henny Penny Cafe, Big Bon Bodega, Sentient Bean, The Starland Yard, and The Vault.

  • My boyfriend, myself, and our pup Biscuit had an AMAZING stay here! Check in was very easy, and the whole space was beautifuly decorated! I truly felt like I was staying at a fancy hotel. This was WELL worth what we paid. The host responded very timely to any of our questions, and even left us a small bottle of wine to enjoy! (Also milk bones for our pup) It was very private, and had a small enclosed yard for our little guy. Everything all around was five stars. This was probably one of the best Airbnb's I've stayed it.

Beautiful bedroom in a historic and iconic Savannah home from 1888! Features a Queen bed and sweeping bay windows. Right down the hallway are two huge bathrooms shared with only two other rooms. A great way to experience Savannah in an old Victorian!
This house is one of those most iconic in this part of Savannah with beautiful marble floors and stained glass windows. I've gotten really creative with the colors and the decor and would love to host colorful, interesting people who appreciate it! Please Note: This room is located on the second floor and there is no elevator or handicapped access.
We're in a part of town most locals call the "Victorian District" which is full of beautiful 1880's - 1920's houses. We're not near River St but from here you can enjoy Savannah like a true local and feel free to explore the town on our complimentary bicycles.
  • Such a pretty home! We were super happy with how easy this stay was. We only stayed the one night but definitely recommend it.

  • The stay at this beautiful old home made our trip to Savannah even more special. The home is also so close to downtown and very clean! Thanks Rabo for sharing your space allowing us to experience a true gem.

  • Beautiful home in a convenient location! We had a comfortable visit and would return there again.

    Dori2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • This place was almost like a slip back in time. It had the Savannah charm and was convenient to the historic district and many great restaurants, the Riverwalk, and nightlife. We appreciated the quick breakfast options (cereal varieties, bagels, oatmeal, juice, milk, coffee, etc.) which were healthier than other quick options so we could focus on touring and spending lunch or dinner at some of the recommendations that Rabo had listed in a binder in our room. We loved the restaurants that were recommended and the ease of coming and going. There were even bikes to ride but we were there on an unusually cold weekend. The shared bathrooms were not a problem and were well-stocked with shampoo, conditioner, facial and body washes, Qtips, makeup remover, and many other items. The location was very convenient. We would definitely stay again.

    Christa2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • We met Rabo briefly when checking in. He was super friendly and helpful during the brief encounter. The house was soooo beautiful & clean. It had such a cool stylish vibe to it- it felt homey. You could tell it was decorated with love. It was also great to see guide books with ideas of things to do/ places to eat at in the area.

This spot is literally on the main strip of downtown Savannah. Everything is right out the front door. I am born and raised Savannah and love living right in the middle of everything! The house is 2700 square feet, spacious and full of character. My house is yours while you are here. But remember I live here too so when you want privacy make sure and shut door. Parking is tricky but I am here to help. Most guest park in garage on Jefferson street that's a block away. It's called Robinson garage
The house is right on the main strip of all the night life and good eating! I would compare to Bourbon street in New Orleans! So please know it gets noisy due to nightlife. Walk out the door and Molly MacPherson's (Scottish pub) is next door and all the best bars and restaurants are within walking distance. The house is located in City Market across the street from an Art gallery. Savannah Sweets is near by and is two blocks from River Street.
Location. It's the best place to stay when visiting downtown! All the best restaurants and night life are right out the front door. Can get noisy at night! Remember I have pets!
  • Great stay! Amazing location! Exactly what we expected and you can't get any closer to the sights.

    Mike2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Location, location, location! This spot is in walking distance to all the excitement in downtown Savannah. Bars, restaurants, the water front and other spots are right out the front door. I also got to be friends with Phil Collins (the cat) who was very chill along with Princess the dog. Great space to lay your head while exploring the delights of the city.
