Bring your own blankets and an adventurous spirit, The Hubble Hideout awaits you! ***GRAND OPENING SALE ON NOW***
Comfortable camping cabin just 30 minutes from the Grand Canyon! Peaceful, secluded, off the beaten path yet nearby everything the Grand Canyon region has to offer. Full size bed with a rather large skylight allows you to sleep under the stars with a night sky so dark that you can see the Milky Way! Outdoor fire pit with built in rocket stove. Indoor safe propane heater to keep you warm. Small solar powered charging station for lighting and keeping your devices or anything that runs from a USB charged. Please keep in mind that you'll have to bring your own bedding and 1 pound propane camping canisters if you would like to use the heater. There's basic cleaning and camping supplies provided in the storage bin(contents may vary), leave it clean for the next guest and that allows me to provide budget friendly and competitive nightly prices with no cleaning fee. Providing a whole lot of bang for your buck is the goal. Please keep in mind that this is a camping space with the outdoorsy type prioritized in the design. This isn't a hotel and we hope that will add to the charm. There are public restrooms and pay showers down the road but in case you need it, there is a provided dry bucket camping toilet system located in the outhouse. Composting liners are provided. Please don't use the toilet without a liner, its just more sanitary that way. Just remove the used liner and depose of it in the composting bin (thats about 30 yards from the cabin, more detail in the check in instructions).
Peaceful, safe, and quiet with great views and a mild climate. Curious local wildlife like small birds, jack rabbits, and lizards are always hanging around, the bright color of the cabin seems to attract them. There is never any crime in this neighborhood, everybody keeps to themselves but are friendly and will wave when you drive past them.
  • This place was really wonderful... a tiny cabin out in a very private space about 30 minutes from the Grand Canyon. The double bed is SUPER comfortable, there’s a battery pack to charge your stuff, a heater, and a great skylight. Toilet system is VERY RUSTIC, be prepared for bag-your-own waste in a compostable baggie. Be sure to read the check-in instructions BEFORE you get out there, there is not much cell service! Tre answered our phone call immediately and was very helpful and patient with getting us into the cabin when I couldn’t access the instructions. Also, it has been raining and the road turned to mud, which made it a difficult drive to get out there. Two-wheel drive beware (during rains only, I’m sure when it’s dry it’s an easy road). But once we were there, the spot was a quiet, rustic, peaceful sanctuary. Thank you Tre!

  • Small and cozy, with comfy beds and a fantastic remote location. I'll stay again if in the area.

  • This was perfect for a 1 night visit to the grand canyon. The location was great and the little cabin clean and comfortable. We slept great and enjoyed watching the stars from the inside on a cold night. The heater provided kept the place nice and cozy. What a gem! Tre also had great communication.

    Brittany2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • This was such an amazing experience. Being able to enjoy such peace and quiet while still having a warm space to relax and sleep made this such an amazing experience. The glass roof really makes this place stand out watching the stars from your warm bed made the night outstanding. Very private and the inside is very clean. The beds provided are soft and comfy and the space heater provides plenty of heat when it’s colder outside. I will for sure being coming again to this spot.

    Hannah2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Hubble Hideout is a real gem, we got all the joys of camping but with that little extra security and shelter (not to mention constant access to the night sky from bed - talk about dreamy vibe!) The hubby and I stayed at Moontrimmer last year and enjoyed it so much, we were excited to try a different listing from this host and it did not disappoint. The cabin appeared to be newly built as everything was exceptionally clean and in order, not to mention very cozy and snug inside. If we're ever passing through in the future, we'll look forward to coming back!

    Liz2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • A unique and incredible camping experience. We got to look at the stars all night through the ceiling window. It was an incredibly clear night (a quarter moon) and we enjoyed spotting shooting stars and constellations from the comfort of the warm and cozy cabin, which made for a very memorable evening. Tres directions and recommendations were on point. Would definitely recommend!

YAY YOU'RE HERE! Welcome to The Love Shack, a place where we can get together! At The Love Shack we provide you with a unique experience while giving you the basic amenities so you can rest easy. Explore off grid living only 30 minutes away from Grand Canyon National Park!
PLEASE READ: Due to the recent events we want to reassure anyone who is interested in staying at The Love Shack that we take your safety seriously. We clean the bed, surfaces, and bathroom area in between all guests. We also keep cleaning supplies inside the camper for guests to use during their stay. Please, if you feel sick do not travel. If you stay with us, we ask you to clean up after yourselves as much as possible before departure and we will also take extra precautions when cleaning the unit. Thank you for understanding. We hope to host you! This 1962 Red Dale Camper has a propane stove and oven, water, wood stove to keep you warm, bathhouse with a solar shower camping bag and compost toilet, comfortable bedding, and so much more. THE SPACE: The Love Shack is a renovated vintage camper. We want you to enjoy being off grid so don't worry, we will make sure you are comfortable. We kept most of the unique touches from this 1962 Red Dale. We provide you with dishes, towels, cutlery, cooking supplies, bedding, breakfast options, tea and coffee, a comfortable bed, wood for the wood stove, a chiminea, lighting, cleaning supplies, games, gravity flow shower (NO HOT WATER), compost toilet, and SO MUCH MORE!! We have everything you need so you can relax at The Love Shack for multiple nights. Here is the catch: - We are 100% off grid. Water is a scarce resource so use wisely as we have to haul it all in ourselves. There is plenty of solar powered lighting so you will be able to move around even at night. -During the winter months you will be using the wood stove to warm the camper. This does require your participation. We recommend starting a fire at least an hour before bed to ensure you have a HOT wood stove and lots of coals to make tending to your fire easier. Understanding how to use a wood stove prior to your arrival is best but we are here to help. We provide fire wood for the wood stove. If you would like an outdoor fire bring your own bundles of wood please. - Additionally, we provide a small Mr Buddy propane space heater. It accepts 1lb propane cylinders. You can use the heater if you provide your own cylinders which can be found at Walmart, most camping stores, and some gas stations. - Above the kitchen counter is a battery operated light bar. We also provide a small solar powered lantern for you to use. -The sink in the camper has a hand pump and the shower is a gravity flow solar camping bag. THE SHOWER BAG WILL REMAIN COLD AFTER SEPTEMBER as the sun is not intense enough to warm it up during the day. If you would like to take a hot shower please look into the nearby campgrounds. -The toilet is a compost toilet, toilet paper and sawdust are provided. -This is a very private area so you will enjoy peace, quiet, and seclusion in your own little off grid getaway! Please be aware that this should be treated as a camping experience. You are exposed to the elements and need to come prepared. - If any items are damaged or missing there is a minimum fee of $50. Depending on the item it will go up. WHAT TO BRING: Toiletries, Food, DRINKING WATER, Ice, Beverages, Additional Fire Wood, 1lb Propane Cylinders, Phone Charging Devices/Battery (there is no electric in the camper), Headlamp or Flashlight, Clothing that is appropriate for the weather, and an open mind that is ready for adventure! *TAKE SCREENSHOTS in case of low cell phone signal. DIRECTIONS: FROM: Williams, AZ - Go NORTH on HIGHWAY 64 - TURN RIGHT on HIGHWAY 180 - TURN RIGHT on LAGUNA FROM: Grand Canyon South Rim Park - Go SOUTH on HIGHWAY 64 - TURN LEFT on HIGHWAY 180 - TURN RIGHT on LAGUNA FROM: Flagstaff, AZ - Go NORTH to HIGHWAY 180 - TURN LEFT on LAGUNA ***For reference: You will see a log cabin with a large solar panel on the OPPOSITE side of the road.*** Winter Weather: September - High 79° / Low 49° October - High 68° / Low 39° November - High 57° / Low 30° December - High 45° / Low 22° January - High 46° / Low 23° February - High 49° / Low 24° March - High 58° / Low 30° The winter months are very cold with high winds in the evenings. The camper will keep you warm and safe but please come prepared if you are staying during the colder months. If you chose the Non-refundable refund option then your stay is NON refundable. Chose this option wisely and only if you are certain you will be staying. No exceptions. GETTING HERE IS AN ADVENTURE! The dirt road can be driven on by nearly all passenger vehicles, 4 wheel drive is not required but is recommended. Rain or snow can make the road difficult to drive on for 2WD vehicles, so 4 wheel drive is highly recommended during wet weather. The road is rocky and has many bumps so drive carefully and slowly as we will not be able to tow your vehicle if a problem arises. Please follow the directions exactly and there should be no issues.
Valle, AZ is a tiny town 30 minutes away from the Grand Canyon National Park. There is a gas station, a few shops, and a motel down the street. Here you can enjoy dark skies, quiet, and nature.
  • Super cozy and exactly the off grid experience we wanted! Adorable little camper that was decorated and had lights to make it very welcoming.

    Elena2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • My daughter and I stayed at The Love Shack after a long day of exploring at the Grand Canyon - we arrived after dark by carefully following the good directions we were provided - yes, this place is remote and the road was rough but that’s just the type of place we were looking for and it was amazing. It was pretty cold night but The camper heated up quickly with a small fire in the woodstove and after a quick dinner cooked in the tiny kitchen we collapsed into the cozy bed. The next morning we woke before dawn to witness an extraordinary sunrise over the open plain and headed back for more canyon hiking. It was a great place to spend a quiet, off grid night!

    Julia2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • The Love Shack is a unique and wonderful place. We enjoyed staying in this cosy hideaway after a breezy day at the Grand Canyon. Jaclyn and Rob equiped this tiny home with everything you need to spend a gorgeous night out there. Especially the wood stove was a highlight for us...listening to the crackling fire while watching the stars from the bed. We recommend arriving before sunset to make sure to find the entrance alley of the camper. Thank you so much!! All the best, Simone & Nancy

    Pia2019-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • Stacey was very accommodating to meet in our way into the park and out of it. The equipment has exactly what you need to go camping in the grand canyon. We just had a small problem with the gas pipe connecting with the stove which was leaking and caused a small fire out of the burners, but Stacey said she'd fix it for the next person

    Alberto & Mathilde2019-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • This made it possible for my partner and I to camp at Grand Canyon National Park. The kit has so much more than we even wound up needing. A great find

    Vanessa2019-09-02T00:00:00Z

    Delia2019-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • Exactly what my friend and I needed for the weekend! Had all the necessities and Stacey was very helpful when we had questions.

    Isabelle2019-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • Stacey provided a quick response. We were traveling from Texas and did not have camping gear. After going to REI to try and rent items, we were informed that they do not rent out items in the Flagstaff location. Looking in Airbnb we found her and she had a lot of the items we needed to have a successful camping trip.

You will be only a mile from the Highway 180 down the dirt road, but you will feel as if you have come to a secret desert getaway. From here the skies are wide open and amazing day and night.
  • It is exactly what we expected. A tiny space with a bed! If you want a minimalist and off the grid night, it is perfect:) Scott was there when we arrived and was nice and let us know how to contact him if we needed anything!

    Elena2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic cabin. Beautifully located, private, and nicely set up. With Scott’s directions, it was easy to find.

    Sarah2020-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • Super awesome spot for the price! It was cold but the heater provided good warmth inside and it’s a great camping experience.

    Fernando2020-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • Scott’s place is OFF THE GRID. Super neat, this is exactly as described. I would suggest not driving there at night and bringing your own blankets and pillows. Scott provides a sleeping bag and a pillow but you might want extra. We enjoyed the camping feel!

    Taylor2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Nice, quiet and clean cabin near Grand Canyon National Park. Would recommend it.

    Sikandar2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • This was very minimalistic tiny cabin. There is a propane heater inside to keep you warm, you will also get electrical lantern but I would suggest to bring a brighter light source with you, you'll get a decent sleeping bag inside but I had my own so I didn't use the one provided by Scott. I loved the location in the morning, it's a beautiful place to spend couple of nights alone or with your partner. Road to the cabin could be tricky but Scott gave detailed instructions So it was easy to reach. I also loved the dogs on the property. They might terrify you at first because they are being protactive of their place. But they are very friendly after first inspection. The alpha one in the pack is very intelligent. He would tell you if wander towards the owner quarters, otherwise he'll leave you alone after inspecting once you arrive :) . There was a breakfast offering listed but I left way early on both the days I stayed their so I can't comment on that. Overall nice and relaxing experience being close to the nature .

    Nitin2019-12-24T00:00:00Z
  • It's a nice little bit near the south entrance of the grand canyon. If you want experience something something different than a hotel, like camping or just want to escape from town, it's the perfect place. It's a greatplace to watch stars at night while making a campfire. Also Scott offers Coffee in the morning.

    Yvonne2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Scott was extremely helpful. His cabin was nice and cozy and a great spot to get away from it all. Very close to the Grand Canyon!

  • Amazing!

    Dylan2019-11-29T00:00:00Z
  • Bernie and Tyler’s place is sooo unique! We had amazing view at night and during the sunrise! The mattress is heating properly and it is so cozy and warm to sleep on it! Thoughtful toughs and sparkly clean space! Absolutely loved everything! Great place and amazing host! Highly recommended!

    Mengqi2019-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • Bernie and Tyler's place was great. They were great hosts and were prompt to respond to our messages. We had the misfortune of getting some really bad weather with temperature at/below freezing, but the mattress pad heater really did the trick keeping us warm through the night. The weather cleared and we were able to see the stars for a bit. Hope to come back on a warm, clear night when we visit the Grand Canyon again.

    Jessica2019-11-21T00:00:00Z
  • If you are on the fence about booking this place, definitely go for it! We stayed two nights here and really enjoyed our experiences both nights. Bernie & Tyler are excellent hosts; they were very responsive both during the stay and before. The left bundles of firewood which we highly recommend using to build a fire in the private fire pit. And the stars! Oh my goodness. The views from the property AND inside the bubble tent were like nothing this city dweller has ever seen before. We saw a handful of shooting stars and even the Milky Way. Also, I’m new to “camping” or even “glamping” and it was perfect for me. If you come in November, just bring warm clothes... but the mattress heating pad and heater got the job done. Absolutely would recommend! 10/10!

    Molly2019-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommend this experience!! We will be back

The roads are unpaved, cell service can be very spotty, somethings may decide to act up, a creepy critter may find its way in, you just never know! So keep this in mind. We are a hotel and do not try to be. Our goal is to provide a 5 star, unique, fun, and creative camping experience, so if something isn't to your liking please let us know right away so we can see if we are able to fix it. We want you to have an amazing time so please give us the opportunity to make your stay better if something is missing.
We are .08 miles off the highway on a dirt road. We live off grid in a cabin walking distance. If we got a lot of rain the roads could be muddy. You could keep your car parked just off the Highway and we could shuttle you to your Airstream. All of our (very few) neighbors, as well as ourselves, moved here for peace and tranquility so we try to respect each other by keeping a distance and keeping our light and noise level to a minimum.
  • My college-aged son and I had a wonderful experience in this Airstream, and built some memories. Despite the chilly weather, we stayed warm and comfortable, and enjoyed a perfect fire outside. It's a truly unique place to stay - both inside and outside - and incredibly convenient to the Grand Canyon's south entrance. The hosts are extremely helpful with information and advice, and are very quick to respond to questions.

  • If you are looking for a quite and unique place near the Grand Canyon than this airstream Adventure is the best thing to do this. We really have had a great time. Absolutely recommend this accommodation. We met Chris and he is very friendly. Hey provided us some wood for the bonfire! Enjoy this adventure. It’s worth it!

    Christian2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Great camping option! Convenient stay for visiting the grand canyon.

    Robert2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Chris was very quick to respond to my many questions. The airstream was actually really warm for the kind of weather we were experiencing. The propane heater is more than enough. We were able to see the stars in such clarity sitting by the camp fire. Not having the running water actually wasn't as bad as I thought. The bed was really comfortable, and there was plenty of blankets. I'm so thankful to have had the experience.

  • Super beautiful place! If you live in the city like me this is the perfect getaway, something different Host was very courteous with our needs, my daughter (6) loved everything But definitely her best moment was the bun fire with marshmallows!! My wife & I best moment was seeing the sunset! 🌅

    Oscar2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Remote location with peace and memories. Proximity to Grand Canyon is a plus. Recommend to anyone.

    WonWoo2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • The interior of the RV is amazing. It was a bit cold at night even with the heating, this is why I recommend to go with your partner to stay warm.

  • We had to cut our trip short because of how much it was raining and we wouldn’t be able to get out with our vehicle. However the night we did get to stay was a really awesome and unique experience! Just make sure to bring a cooler so you can cook if you are staying for a couple of days. Would highly recommend anybody to give this a try!!

    Payton2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great place to stay while visiting the Grand Canyon! We loved the unique experience of staying in a bus and we had everything we needed! If you like camping and want a memorable experience I highly recommend staying here. The stars at night were also incredible to see. Great communication from our host and again an incredible experience, thank you!

    Brittany2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful stay out in the desert under the starry sky! Baby Nova and I enjoyed swinging in the swing and cozying up and that's nicely remodeled bus. Such a fun and memorable experience for our trip.

    Capri2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • What a gem! This glamp experience is one we will remember forever. The bus is BEAUTIFUL. So well decorated with lots of cute amenities like extra blankets and a French Press. We didn’t have running water and it wasn’t a problem, especially since we have camped before. It gets cold at night so wear layers, but the provided heater and extra blankets kept us warm at night. The stars are truly amazing out here, and the convenience to the park was key. We would recommend this awesome stay to anyone who wants a true glamping experience! One thing to note: the road to get to the bus is dirt with lots of bumps and holes so I only recommend driving an AWD car here or you may get stuck! I have a Subaru hatchback and had no problem on the roads but smaller cars may have issue.

    Sarah2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Helix is a must-experience stay. Definitely off the grid and off-road, but perfect for the scenic trip to visit Arizona. Would suggest having google maps up to help find the road for it, but the instructions they give you are completely accurate. Close to a small town and 30 mins away from a bigger town. We were able to meet Lauren and she is super nice and helpful. Overall, we loved the stay! 10/10 would recommend.

    Matelyn (Clare)2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • This was such a cute little getaway! It was just me and my dog but we had an awesome adventure to the Grand Canyon which was made better by staying in a school bus in the middle of nowhere. Plenty of space outside to roam and play and the inside was cozy and had all the amenities that I needed to get by for a few days. If you’re going in the winter time, I suggest bringing more blankets to snuggle with, but they provided several extras too.

    Max2020-01-30T00:00:00Z
  • What an awesome experience! Loved the bus. It was colder than I anticipated but the bus did well keeping things warm. Loved every minute.

    Logan2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • We’ve already recommended this awesome spot to a few of our adventurous friends! This was the perfect blend of off the grid with amenities. Helix is fully equipped for your indoor/outdoor camping experience. We were there on the coldest night of the year so far and with a few extra warm layers we were super comfortable! Make sure to heed all of the directions and warnings these awesome hosts provide and you will have a great time! We cooked dinner by candlelight and gazed at the amazing display of our galaxy. Can’t wait to come back!

  • This place looked cool in the pictures, but it's even cooler in person. When we pulled up we weren't even sure if we were at the right place- the outside looks like an old western brewery and then you walk in and it's modern, clean, open, etc. Loved this spot and would recommend for anyone.

    Aaron2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • One of the coolest Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed in. Close to the Grand Canyon while keeping the crowds at a distance. We loved the unique place and comfortable beds (tempurpedic). Don’t forget to blast some tunes over the impressive speakers! We had a proper dance party every night after hiking. As other reviewers have said, I highly recommend you get groceries on the way in while passing through Williams or Flagstaff. Just due to the remote location, any food nearby is expensive and more limited in options. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat! Thanks again guys, such a cool space and I loved seeing how many international folks had stayed there before us on the map, whiteboard, and guestbook.

    Sydney2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • This AirBnb is extremely unique! The artwork, design elements, and the place itself is just all-around cool. We enjoyed watching the stars from the porch and the heater worked great to warm us up after on a chilly night. Easy straight shot up the road to the Grand Canyon. Would definitely recommend this place!

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE We are taking extra measures to clean and disinfect the house. The park is open and the entrance is now free. Great base for exploring Grand Canyon – 30 min drive to South Rim. Located on a secluded 20 acres, this property will let you experience North Arizona wilderness away from tourist crowds. Enjoy expansive view and calm of Arizona desert from the window of this house. Great place to see starlit night sky.
This place used to be a small family cattle ranch. When I converted this place into an AirBnb, I wanted it to become a unique place to stay for groups visiting Grand Canyon. Now it's a modern vocation home with central A/C and high speed internet but it's still surrounded by wilderness as far as eye can see.
Valle, Arizona is a small village near South Rim entrance of Grand Canyon National Park. Population is around 800 people, a mix of small ranchers and National Park employees.
  • The property is amazing. It’s very private, set way back from the main road. You really are by yourself. Also, the house was immaculately clean. We’d highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area around the Grand Canyon.

  • Dmitriy has the perfect place to stay if you want to be near the Grand Canyon! We had plenty of space for us and our 3 children with room to spare. It’s a beautiful space and very quiet. We loved it. Also, Dmitriy had some very thoughtful touches for us which we really appreciated. You absolutely can’t go wrong staying here!

  • We were grateful to have such comfy beds to get well rested before our big adventure to hike down the south rim of the Grand Canyon. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the fire place.....next time.👍🏻 Great location for preparing to hike the Canyon.

  • My kids had a blast playing in the back and chasing wild rabbits. Perfect location and full of amenities.

  • Really enjoyed our stay! The house is off the beaten path and allows you to stay in a nice/ very clean space away from the rest of the people looking to experience the Grand Canyon. In the middle of nowhere, but that's exactly the point, and the inside of the house met our every need! Also amazing star viewing and a lovely working fire place. Exceeded our expectations. Would advise arriving in the daylight the first time as the house will be easier to find.

    Dylan2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This house was the perfect stay for our weekend in the Grand Canyon area. Less than a 30 minute drive to the park entrance, and a perfect sanctuary to recover from a long day of hiking and exploring. To ensure you know all the important details of the tiny house, please do not make a booking without reading the additional details under "Read more about this space" below
Welcome to our cozy & comfortable off-grid tiny house, the perfect place to escape and get lost in the beauty of nature. You'll be amazed at the spectacular views, mesmerizing sunrises, awe-inspiring sunsets and a breathtaking star filled sky. At just a short drive to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon our tiny house will leave you rested and ready for adventure! By not charging a cleaning fee we are able to make staying at the tiny house not only fun but affordable as well. However, in order to make this possible we do require that you clean the unit before check-out (Supplies Provided) The tiny house is remote and off-grid this means: - No running water - No linens, blankets, pillow cases, towels provided - Toilet is a standard porta-potty - Heating through propane heater - Electricity by solar - Approximately 1 mile of rough dirt/gravel road driving The tiny house is on it's own 1 acre plot of land. You will be in quiet solitude in a remote location with nearly no neighbors. Whether you are looking for a quiet weekend or an active family trip to the Grand Canyon this is the place for you. The tiny house sleeps three people and dogs are welcome. If you would like to pitch a tent or two to accommodate a few more people you are welcome to do so! LOCATION: 35 minutes south of the Grand Canyon. To ensure the best star gazing while still maintaining easy access, the tiny house is in a remote area and rests about one mile down a dirt road. The dirt road can be driven on and navigated by nearly all passenger vehicles, 4 wheel drive is not required under dry conditions but is recommended if possible. If the weather has been bad (rain/snow) the road can become very difficult to impassible for 2WD vehicles, so 4 wheel drive is highly recommended or required depending on conditions. We do provide two routes to the tiny house in our check in details, one more direct and easier to navigate but only suited for dry conditions. The other is slightly less direct but has less low spots which contract water. The road either way is rocky and uneven in spots but if driving slowly, carefully and following our directions there should be no issue. THE TINY HOUSE: The tiny house is glamorous camping, or glamping as we like to call it. It is meant to let our guests experience the great outdoors while still having some fun and reasonable shelter, it is NOT a hotel. If you are opposed to bugs, being outdoors, warm/cold weather, dirt/mud, critters or camping the tiny house is NOT the place for you. The interior is furnished with a full size bed and a twin size bed, each having two pillows. Linens, including towels, sheets, bedding, blankets/sleeping bags and pillow cases are NOT provided. The comforter on the bed is for decorative purposes only and to keep dust off the bed itself. Please bring your own bedding and do not use the linens on the bed. There are boxes under the bed to store these in during your stay. We provide a coffee maker with filters so if you like to rise and shine with a cup of joe, bring some grounds with you! The outdoor space includes a table and two chairs and a bench which can fold down into a picnic table. There is small fire pit in front you are welcome to build a camp fire in. Please to not burn anything outside of this pit also, please do not use plants or anything on the property as wood, you will need to bring your own firewood (available for sale at local gas station). There is a charcoal grill (charcoal not provided) and fire grate which can be placed over the fire pit to cook on! WATER/BATHROOM: There is NO running water inside or outside the tiny house. You will need to bring your own water. There is a porta-potty, which does not flush, outside for your use, please bring your own toilet paper. We also offer a private solar shower as well, but again please bring your own water to fill the shower bag. CLEANING: To make staying at the tiny house more affordable there is NO cleaning fee! However, this means it is a self-clean unit, meaning YOU are responsible for cleaning it before leaving. Please be respectful and leave the tiny house cleaner than how you found it. Failure to clean up after yourself will result in a $100 fee. In addition, the location is remote so there is NO garbage pick up. You must bring your own trash bags and take all trash with you when you leave, pack-in pack-out. We provide wet wipes, a swiffer mop, lint rollers, a vacuum and a broom/dust pan. The desert is dusty, so please vacuum/sweep, swiffer mop the floor and wipe down all surfaces before departure. If your pets join you please clean up after them both outside and inside. If they are on the furniture please make sure to lint roll to leave no pet hair behind. Failure to adequately clean prior to departure will result in a $100 fine. POWER/ELECTRICITY/HEATING: The tiny house is completely off-grid with only a solar generator for electricity. The solar generator is capable of charging small electronics such as a cell phone or laptop. The solar generator powers the lights within the tiny house, the coffee maker and charges the fan and vacuum batteries. Please only plug items into the white power strip on top of the solar generator, located at the foot of the bed. (See in check in details for operation instructions) For cold nights we do provide a propane heater which is safe for indoor use. )See check in detail for operating instructions) PETS: We DO allow pets. If you do bring pets, please use the lint roller and remove all pet hair before you leave. In addition, pick up your dog's droppings as well. Failure to do so will result in a $100 fine. WHAT TO PACK: Plenty of water, firewood, toilet paper, linens (bedding, towels, blankets/sleeping bag, etc), charcoal (if desired). The desert cools off at night which makes for the perfect bonfire/stargazing experience but remember to pack appropriate clothing for the cold temperatures. You truly will not beat this location! We have seen some of the most gorgeous sunsets, beautiful sunrises, and could spend hours looking up at the millions of stars around the fire pit. You will absolutely not be disappointed with your stay here.
The beauty of the neighborhood is, there is no neighborhood other than a couple neighbors off in the distance. There are two gas stations located about 10 minutes away. See house manual for details
  • We loved this little glamping house! It was a lovely experience. We loved sitting outside and staring at the stars. A great place to get away from reality!

  • Although I was Japanese, I was able to arrive without mistake because I was able to explain my address and directions in an easy-to-understand manner. This is the best location where the starry sky is pretty beautiful. Thank you very much.

    Taiga2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing experience. Such a great glamping spot ! Night sky was incredible with the fire going. Instructions were very clear, and heater and generator were easy to use.

    Jayme2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great little place away from everything, but not too far either. Beautiful night sky and a cozy place for a fire!

    Chad2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Josh and Joanna's tiny house near the Grand Canyon is as-advertized. The house was amazing - stunningly beautiful, slightly off-the-grid location, immaculately clean, and replete with extremely thoughtful amenities provided to make "glamping" feel more glamorous than it's ever felt (for us, anyway). Booking their place was instrumental in us having a great experience at the Grand Canyon in a month where the weather can be dicey - and fortunately for us, the weather was great! I'll never forget sitting around the campfire in moonlight so bright that it cast shadows (and then scampering inside to warm up with the heater)! Make sure you read the listing and know what you're getting into, but in my experience, the hosts are extremely clear and up-front about what the listing provides (and doesn't), as well as being great with communications and directions. If after reading the all the caveats, you still think it's for you - you're right. Book it immediately. I'd recommend this place for anyone looking to have a secluded, glamping-like experience a bit off the grid in easy shouting distance of the Grand Canyon.

    Bill2020-02-10T00:00:00Z

  • Perfect get away in a great location. Easy to get to the Canyon but isolated enough to feel like you’re really camping. Can’t wait to stay again.

    Clay2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Outstanding communication and a great location! Chris and Lorren have set up a quaint and unique stay. They provide great accomodations and are nearby if needed. The access to Grand Canyon is a quick drive and you can't beat the stargazing available at Copper either.

    dane2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • "Copper" was awesome. It made our little trip to the Grand Canyon amazing. We were able to have our dogs with us and not have to worry about people being scared of them or worried a bark or two. It's out of the way with very little light making your views of the stars stunning. Provided lots of amenities, blankets, pillows, and the beds were comfortable. Would recommend for a young couple going for a short trip and want something more personal and away from the "city".

    Jay2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • Following the coordinates they provide is key. We loved our stay and it was not as cold as we thought once we got the heater going. We would definitely go back!

    Maryn2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • This camper provides the perfect stay for 2 for your Grand Canyon/AZ adventures. Hosts Chris & Loren have truly prepared the bnb with anything you may need. Location is excellent for disconnecting, although there was still some cell reception lol. Thoughtfully decorated and detailed, copper was our home away from home while we embraced the 35 degree desert winter over the New Year! Cheers!

    Autumn2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • Staying in Copper was an experience we will never forget, for good reasons! Beautiful nature, amazing star gazing, and impeccable attention to detail with the lodging and amenities. The hosts really went above and beyond to make sure our stay was the best it could be, and my husband and I would book with them again if we ever get the chance. 10/10 would recommend!

  • Cozy place with awesome atmosphere. Totally different experience than staying in regular place. Enjoy the stars because there is no light pollution. I recommend staying during winter:)

Discover a new adventure every day in this newly remodeled, private 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment. This cozy room is located 20 miles away from the Grand Canyon National Park in a mobile home park 3 minutes down a gravel road. Let the worries of the world slip away while you prepare for your Grand Canyon adventure with 2 plush queen-size beds that sleep 2, a smart TV with WiFi, a microwave, and a mini fridge. Only minutes away from a gas station and restaurants.
Access will include two separate bedrooms, two private bathrooms, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator/freezer, and smart TV. Due to our remoteness, our night skies offer world-class stargazing. This location is superb for getting the most out of your Grand Canyon experience, being right in the middle of the action of the Grand Canyon, Bearizona, and the Sky Walk.
You will be close to all the action, but in an incredibly relaxing and private escape. Just a 20-minute drive from the Grand Canyon National Park means you can arrive in time to see the sunrise or sunset. We also recommend checking out other nearby attractions, including: Bearizona in Williams or Downtown Flagstaff. The area you are in is 1 mile down a gravel road in a rural area. There are other houses and campers in the area, as well as street lights and security cameras.
  • John is a fantastic host. He’s a prompt and clear communicator, and gave recommendations for things to do around the Grand Canyon. The property is a great value. I’d recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

    Grant2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • The listing is completely accurate! Great host, easy to get to, and was a cozy place that made our adventures around the Grand Canyon more comfortable!

    Alicia2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • The trailer is a bit of a drive from the Grand Canyon and Williams, but overall it was a wonderful stay and much cheaper than anything closer to the canyon. The space was clean and cozy with a good heater, fridge, microwave, and coffee machine. Overall, we had a great stay and would do so again!

    Natalia2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Ideal location; super easy and efficient for its price. Definitely recommend!

    Will2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • The house is in a RV park. Although the room is small, but the facilities are perfect, there is heating at night, the room is very warm, half an hour drive from Grand Canyon Park, the price is very high, it is recommended!

    Veronica2020-02-12T00:00:00Z

Bring your own bedding and an adventurous spirit, The Moontrimmer awaits you! Comfortable and surprisingly spacious with ample seating, this trailer is hooked up and ready for a unique camping experience. Enough solar power to charge anything that charges from USB, built in battery for the lights. Huge skylight over the double bed and private skylight for the single bed for some of the best stargazing in the country! Outdoor firepit with clear views of the SF Peaks!
Freshly remodeled and customized 1972 Komfort Travel Trailer. Equipped with a pull out double bed with comfortable 3" memory foam pads under a giant skylight that you can see the Milky Way from while in bed. As well as a single 3" memory foam bed under a small private skylight. Please keep in mind that you'll have to bring your own bedding. There's basic cleaning supplies provided, leave it clean for the next guest and that allows me to provide budget friendly and competitive nightly prices with no cleaning fee. Providing a whole lot of bang for your buck is the goal. Please keep in mind that this is a camping space with the outdoorsy type prioritized in the design. This isn't a hotel and we hope that will add to the charm. Theres plenty of afternoon shade and with the windows open, it stays cool and comfortable inside the trailer. There are public restrooms and pay showers down the road but in case you need it, there is a provided dry bucket camping toilet system located in the outhouse. Composting liners are provided. Please don't use the toilet without a liner, its just more sanitary that way. Just remove the used liner and depose of it in the composting bin (thats about 30 feet behind the trailer) when you check out.
Peaceful, safe, and quiet with great views and a mild climate. Curious local wildlife like small birds, jack rabbits, and lizards are always hanging around, the bright colors of the trailer seem to attract them. There is no crime in this neighborhood, everybody keeps to themselves.
  • We had a great time making a fire and cooking over it! It was 24 degrees the night we stayed so If you have similar weather I’d suggest bundling up and figuring out the space heater before it gets too dark or cold!

    Avery2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time staying in Tre’s camper! If you prep as though you are camping you’ll be all set. It was a low of 35 when we were there and with 30 degree sleeping bags we were fine. The remote juniper savanna is breathtaking. Bring firewood so you can enjoy the fire pit. There was enough space in the camper for 2 people and we loved the windows to look at the stars.

    Chloe Skye2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • The Moontrimmer is an excellent place to stay if you're looking to get away and it's really close to the Grand Canyon national park. Just far enough away to think you're in a planetarium at night because of the zero light pollution and just close enough to the Grand Canyon and Grand Canyon Village to make a quick drive up. The glass roof was really something amazing to fall asleep under. You can see satellites slowly moving in orbit, multiple shooting stars, and of course every constellation and all visible planets. It's absolutely surreal to be in a heated camper with such a view of the night sky. The drive after the highway is a little bumpy but that's to be expected. I made it out in a Subaru WRX and while it was a little tricky at some points, slow and strategic driving worked fine. If you plan to go in a sedan or non-SUV car, you should have some experience driving on fire roads, take it slow, and bring a shovel if it's rained in the area recently to dig yourself out. However, the path is to be expected for such a remote and amazing place. 10/10. The place has just enough amenities so you won't die from exposure and still won't feel like you're a glamping casual with an amazing view. Next time I'm out at the Canyon I'll be staying at Tre's again.

    Dave2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great time at Tre’s place while visiting the Grand Canyon. The trailer itself is very bare bones (there’s two beds, a seating area, and a fire pit outside), but it offers amazing views of one of the best things nature can offer- was so lovely to look up at a clear night sky and see nothing but endless stars. Getting here wasn’t tricky but would recommend keeping in mind the roads within the grounds are not paved. Got my car stuck in mud for 40 minutes coming in at midnight the first night (I don’t have 4WD), so exercise caution depending on what the weather has been like. Overall a great experience, and Tre was a great host!

    Anna2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommend staying here! Tre was extremely helpful because we had some trouble finding the place and we got an immediate response with more specific directions. The glass ceiling was incredible, we had clear skies and slept under a blanket of stars. The place was spotless too. Such a unique experience!

    Nicolette2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Such an amazing unique experience! The stars are gorgeous, and the skylight makes for an awesome view. Great place to immerse yourself in nature! Would definitely recommend.

    Alisa2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderful place to stay. The sky light is amazing, and even if it was freezing cold the trailer stood warm all night. Great place to stay if you are visiting the Grand Canyon or just want to view the stars at night.

    Andrew2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Very beautiful romantic spot to look at the stars, roast some marshmallows, and cuddle up. We used 4 propane canisters in February and we got them from walmart. Be careful if you have a low vehicle on the way in. Tre was a very great host! Very lovely spot.

Experience the rugged high desert near the Grand Canyon, see the sky full of stars, hear the coyotes lullaby, enjoy the Mountain view, all in the security and rustic beauty of a vintage Airstream! This is off-grid solar camping— it has a small heater please dress warmly in winter months! Please be prepared and bring your own blankets, pillows, and towels. We have a rustic composting pit toilet. This is community maintained–clean & put everything away so next guest can enjoy it too!
*bathroom/shower NOT AVAILABLE* We provide a creative but rustic shelter as a basecamp for northern Arizona's many adventures. You'll have your own parking spot next to the Airstream, a gravel patio, a fire ring (if conditions allow fires), and the entire Airstream to yourself. You may share our one acre property with other AirBnB adventurers who are stopping by the Grand Canyon, which may include tent campers. This is community maintained. Please understand that guests must clean up after themselves and take all trash with them. We love being able to share a bit of the high desert wilderness with campers but it is not for the faint of heart (or those who would prefer a h0tel)....it's for the adventurer who loves being outside but wants a little more protection from the elements. The Airstream has a seating area inside that converts into a full bed platform and we include two single size camping mats for you to use. We also have sleeping bags available to rent upon request. If you are bringing a larger group than four, we have tents that you may rent and pitch right near your Airstream. • This is a very nice place to enjoy the outdoors without having to pay an arm and a leg! Sun rise was gorgeous. Location is very private ( so stock up on supplies BEFORE you arrive). You are no more that 40 minutes away from the Grand Canyon so this is more convenient than anything in Williams. I would definitely use James and Sarah’s air stream again!

    Brent2019-09-13T00:00:00Z

Our Grand Canyon Bungalow is located 1 mile south of the Grand Canyon National Park's south rim entrance for all new bookings, no cleaning fee. The house borders National Forest Property and trails as far as the eye can see easily accessible from the back area. Enjoy a minimalist feel, the house has a comfortable laid back vibe that lends itself well to the area. If full check the calendar in Bungalow 3 for Spring and Summer, dates are available. Our AZ Tax ID # is 03-021502-R.
Nestled in the Ponderosa Pines this "little" house is surrounded by trails and natural wonders. Cross AZ 64 and you'll find the Arizona Trail which transverses the canyon into Utah, or just hike a short wooded distance if you'd like. The kitchen is fully stocked with Pots and pans, baking pans, all the utensils to cook a full meal or just a snack. Plates, bowls, drinking glasses and mugs for cocoa or coffee. Like to grill? we just installed a brand new propane grill just steps away from the front door. Cool evening air negates the need for Air Conditioning so the House doesn’t have it, fans and 7 windows create a very comfortable atmosphere especially when the average summer temps are mid 80s for the day and 45-55 at night. The house isn’t perfect and we are continually adding things and making repairs. The kitchen is in need of replacement cabinetry and floors and although they are clean they appear dated.
This bungalow is located among mfr homes of residents and employee's and is as casual as the Grand Canyon. The outside of the property is rustic and as required is not landscaped except with natural growing plants and occasional bunnies and coyote's.
  • We had a wonderful stay! The home was beautiful, great location, and Marty was quick to respond to any questions we had.

  • The bungalow has everything you need for a stay at the Grand Canyon. We fit four adults and one child very comfortably. The five year old said he slept like he was at home. Much better than a hotel with a large kitchen to prepare food. Lots of local tips and complimentary passes to the IMAX movie.

  • A wonderful experience in the middle of nowhere. Confortable bed and warm (it was 30°F outside / -1°C), we spend a wonderful evening with Richard. This place definitely have a soul, Richard, who makes everything so much better and easier. We had a nice diner with Richard and long conversation about many topics. If you are visiting Grand Canyon, this is the best place to be and in the best company you can have.

  • We enjoyed our stay at the yurt. It was really cold at night but the comforters made it cozy. Just take the Laguna road instructions as provided by the host until you see the bug sculptures. Richard was very hospitable and even provided tips for travel. Thanks for hosting us!

  • Suuuuch a nice stay at the camp! Great facilities, lovely company and all the tips you need for a great stay in the area! The place really exceeded our expectations - Richard was a great host! Would love to come back one day!!

    Louise2019-10-11T00:00:00Z
  • The perfect way to camp without having to bring all of the equipment required. It's a true campsite, so no running water or electricity. Mattresses were super comfortable, and we had plenty of blankets to stay warm even with cold October evenings (though bring layers for walking around camp if you come this time of year). The dinner and breakfast was great!

    Jessica2019-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • This is a beautifully set up establishment right under the stars! We loved our stay here. Enjoyed conversations with Richard and the other guests and all the useful tips Richard gave. Would love to be back again. Just an FYI to those booking, this place is an electricity free establishment. We did not have much difficulty as Richard gave us a solar lantern and we enjoyed being cut off but in hindsight if I had known I would've carried headlamps etc. Overall great experience. Amazing night sky viewes and great meals!

    Neha2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • A truly amazing experience! The yurts were clean, cozy and warm. Richard was a super host. Gave great tips on things to check out in the area. Chili was wonderful, as was the conversation around the dinner table! Highlight of the trip!

    Christine2019-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • Enjoyed the beautiful starry sky. The tent was wonderfully large and had a nice bed! The dinner is highly recommended, very tasty and cozy with other travelers and Richard who gives excellent travel tips.

  • The first RV camping experience was still very pleasant. This location is great, completely in the wild, and the facilities are complete, because the weather is very cold, the heater provided by the landlord plays a very big role! The stars and the morning sun will make you feel how beautiful nature is! Great experience, recommended!

    2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying here! Hosts were so kind and quick to reply. It was a cold stay and it’s definitely roughing it a little (but cozy!). We are avid outdoors people, so along with the heater provided and extra blankets, we made every bit of it work. A short drive to the Grand Canyon made this stay perfect for us too. We would stay here again if they had us!

Disconnect in nature close to the Grand Canyon (about 25 minutes). PET FRIENDLY! Stellar views of the stars and the Milkyway! Off Grid 1950s Shasta Travel Trailer with outdoor compost bathroom parked on 13 acres of beautiful land.
Designed for the perfect getaway! Spend the day exploring the Grand Canyon and the cute little surrounding villages. Only half an hour from the entrance to the Grand Canyon! Come relax in Tiny Dancer after a long day of hiking. Spend some time out side and enjoy the incredible stars with no light pollution! Welcome to the "Tiny Dancer" - an original 1950s Shasta Travel Trailer. Go back in time and disconnect in nature yet feel close to civilization. Get lost in the magical views of nature. Get the full camping experience. There is absoluately ZERO light pollution, including no over head lighting, so you will be able to enjoy a magical night observing the stars, especially on a new moon. We do not provide Wifi to allow you to unplug a disconnect. A lantern is provided for lighting Be sure to bring a bag of ice for the vintage 1954 ice box (it's the old school fridge) The bed is a full with a little extra cushions on the side for extra space (Trailers have unique bed sizes). The second bed is a twin that folds out from the dinette table that you set up yourself. The outdoor bathroom has a compost toilet (clean bucket that you "go" in). Toilet paper will be inside in the closet to keep it clean. You cover it up with saw dust that we provide. Its very sanitary and works really well, covers the smell and we have a compost bin on the land that we dump it in and in a year we have perfect compost soil for our future garden. Tiny Dancer has 2.5 gallons of water provided on the kitchen counter. Extra is in the closet. All pets are welcome with no pet fees - BUT NO FLEAS PLEASE. If fleas are found after your pet stays there you will be charged for extermination costs and or rental losses from cancellations. Our dogs and land are flea free and we'd like to keep it that way. Winter heat source - Propane heater Summer - Fans (no AC) . It doesn't get hot here (only 80°!!) So ac is not necessary at all ***Due to unfortunate circumstances on our property with guests starting an illegal fire and it catching our land, we must now formally ban firepits. We did not think someone would start a random fire without permission when there was no fire pit but it happened and now we have to take the proper precautions. No fires are allowed on our property. We can not provide a firepit as the bush catches very easily even in wet weather.  Thank you for understanding.*** We recommend arriving during sunlight. We do not have road signs or lights and it can be difficult to find in the dark. *Always check the weather for the dates of your stay. The best way to do this is to google "Valle Az Weather". Know that during winter and early spring it's pretty chilly at night. Even though we love our camping heater and it does great for dancer, you're still staying in a canned ham travel trailer. It will still get chilly. So dress accordingly, especially for bed time (thermals, flannel, thick socks, etc...). We have lots of extra blankets too! There will be no refunds do to weather* *Door does not lock. We do not lock our doors here because it is very safe and remote. No one will mess with you or your stuff. Someone is always on the property. We are aware that people from cities are used to locking doors, so come ready to try something different and enjoy the freedom of knowing you're safe!* *It is extremely important that only our directions are followed. We send a link on the morning of your stay that contain very detailed coordinates and directions and instructions. If you know that your phone can have spotty reception make sure you print them off or have them open and ready to go. Not following our link to the instructions will get you turned around because addresses out here are weird and doubled for some crazy reason. Follow the coordinates and there won't be any problems* Come here to enjoy a peaceful camping experience in nature. Come with a peaceful open mind, understanding that we are not the Ritz but a cute simple trailer and we try our best with what we have. We live on the land and have the amenities you have in the trailer. This is our life style which we choose to share with you. Come ready to live simply and relax into nature and leave the city life behind We consider anything below a 5 star rating as a failure. PLEASE if you feel like anything is not at a 5 star level let us know so we are able to fix it right away. Our goal is to give you a lovely camping experience so we do our best to make sure you have everything you need. Please be considerate, however, with things out of our control such as cold/hot weather, rain, snow, mud, bugs, wildlife, no wifi (can't get wifi to this area) , cacti, potential power issues. We are not a resort nor do we try to be. We are just a young couple providing a unique camping experience doing the best with what we have so that you can connect with nature and enjoy our art in the form of travel trailers <3 Being that we are an off grid camping experience, there are a few differences to be aware of: *toilet is an outdoor compost (covered bucket with a frame and sawdust) *Does not flush* *no running water. we provide gallons of water for you use. if you need more, just ask. *ice box not a running fridge. remember to bring ice if you need it *wild animal may be present on the property. Do not approach, feed, touch, capture, or kill any wildlife. Elk are fast, if you see Elk (or deer or cow or coyote) near your trailer do not go out side. Take your pics from inside and please do not try to approach them.
Our neighborhood is quiet and spacious. No close neighbors. A few miles away is a gas station, a couple vintage hotels, including one that has a really cool lounge / bar. Not much of a hang spot unless you go closer towards the Grand Canyon. Flagstaff is about 50 miles away that has everything you would need.
  • We didn't get to stay in this place and had to be moved. However, communication and space was great!

  • This place was so cute. It was a great experience for our first time “glamping”. I would definitely do it again. It’s a very small space but perfect for 2 people. Everything was functioning but felt vintage so added to the experience. 10 out of 10.

BEFORE BOOKING PLEASE READ THE “OTHER THINGS TO NOTE” SECTION. It has details you NEED TO KNOW before booking. This is your chance to go off grid. Your night to see every star in the Milky Way. Welcome to the ultimate glamping experience! Our modern A-frame sleeps 4. The interior was meticulously curated to provide you with luxurious amenities while staying true to the camping experience. Our A-frame is the perfect stop just 40 minutes away from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.
We provide everything you need for a comfortable stay. The space is well-equipped with a full-size memory foam mattress, a lofted twin bed and a memory foam foldable floor mattresses (we'll let you draw straws to decide who sleeps where—ha!). Our decor sends out desert vibes and serves as the perfect backdrop for your Instagram ;) Is there heat? We have a wood burning stove for keeping you warm on those chilly Arizona nights. But please note that is does get very cold in the winter, so bring an extra pair of PJs, thermals and long johns for added warmth :) Can I cook? The tiny kitchen area offers a two-burner camping stove, french press coffee maker with coffee, mini-refrigerator, pots/pans and basic utensils for prepping a quick meal. Is there hot water? Right outside the A-frame you'll find a small outdoor shower with hot water. NOTE: During the winter months and any other time it is below 40° F we DO NOT offer water. But you'll be able to wash off the day all summer long. Is there a bathroom? We aren't savages! There is a compost toilet and sink for cleaning up in the outdoor bathroom area. We provide towels and soap for you. Is there electricity? Our solar power system is fully off grid. There are a couple of places for you to plug in your beloved cell phone to get a full charge! But the system can't handle devices that need a lot of power like blow dryers. Please note: We do not provide wifi. This is your chance to disconnect :) Cell service is mostly available at the campsite, but a short trip back to the highway will give you guaranteed service. Dogs are allowed during your stay for an additional $25 fee per dog. We ask that dogs do NOT get on the beds out of respect for other people's allergies.
The property is fairly secluded as the few neighboring homes are spaced far apart. It will be a rare occurrence to see someone drive down the road in front of the A-frame. At night there is almost no light at all. Perfect for stargazing! There are two gas stations and a hotel restaurant/lounge within 10 minutes of the property. Please note that things close early in this town, and we recommend stocking up on snacks/groceries beforehand. In ideal weather and traffic, you are only 40 minutes from the Grand Canyon!
  • Wonderful spot! The place is perfect for a nice escape and has so many nice and thoughtful details. Check in and check out were a breeze and Castle was a great communicator. Would definitely stay here again!

  • Awesome stay! Would recommend during the warmer months.

    Phillip2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed for one night in February. Wanted to spend a day hiking around the south rim of the Grand Canyon. Communication and check in was great. The yurt was on beautiful isolated land with a few other yurts close by but not on top of each other. The yurt is decorated in a bright and delightful way. We truly enjoyed this unique experience and would absolutely recommend it. If you’re going in the winter- be prepared to be cold. Nothing to blame the yurt for (there was a heater and plenty of blankets)- but if you’re staying here in the winter, you’re just going to have to deal with it being a bit cold.

    Zena2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing camping experience. Would definitely recommend it. Although, not the best place for winters. The space had an amazing propane heater and multiple blankets which came in handy!

    Mohammad2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • The space was clean, the area was beautiful and the bed was comfy! Definitely a great option if you want to feel more connected to the outdoors. Lots of supplies provided including cooking supplies, chairs, a cooler, cups and much more. The hospitality was so great, and they were very accommodating to our needs even amid us booking the wrong night for our stay (thanks again)! It’s like camping but made easy!

    Chloe2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • This place is incredible. I go to Vegas for work and made this a day trip and I’ll definitely do it again!

    Akina2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful experience. I highly recommend for anyone who loves the desert and being outdoors.

    Kathy2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • I’m not a camping type person but my friend wanted to try this. We came unprepared. It was 26° at night and even with the propane heater, still find it weird there’s just one for two tents to share, multiple layers of clothes and multiple blankets, I was very cold. The experience is worth it, but I would rather go in the warmer months. Going in January was not smart on my part. The host did text me after I arrived to see if I needed anything.

  • John’s place was great! We stayed here for one night before visiting the Grand Canyon. The accommodations far exceeded our expectations and was a perfect stay for our Grand Canyon trip! It comfortably fit four people between all the beds. The check in was easy as we arrived at night and the place was warm and a great location in reference to the Grand Canyon. I definitely recommend this place :)

  • John was super communicative with ultra quick responses. The RV was a good size for my husband and I, and our seven year old. We all had our own bed and the seating area was comfortable and spacious. The TV worked with access to Netflix, and there was decent WiFi. It was absolutely freezing while we were there, 7 degrees Fahrenheit at night, so we were so thankful for the excellent heating throughout the RV. It was easy to manage with the thermostat. We had a bit of a toilet issue at 930pm, and someone came out right away and fixed it quickly for us. Not ideal, but the response could not have been better. The spot is remote, not much around, but it's exactly as host describes. About a 25minute drive to the Grand Canyon. You should bring your own coffee. There is a very small drip machine, but be sure to have your own grounds. It's a 20minute drive to coffee otherwise! I can't vouch for the shower, I didn't bother since we were only there two nights. Water was hot from the taps. Amenities are on the slim side, bring oil if you are going to cook, towels, plenty of drinking water. Plenty of storage areas, quiet at night, comfortable, warm. We loved it. It was great for us and the Grand Canyon was amazing! Thanks to the hosts!

  • Wonderful well kept RV. The RV was well equipped with many amenities that a person could potentially need on vacation. It was very stylish and made me feel like at home. The RV also comes with a smart tv which was nice to watch Netflix or Hulu. The location was perfect and only about 20 minutes from the Grand Canyon. John was very professional and great at responding in a quick manner. I made a mistake with my reservation, but he was very understanding and quickly took care of the situation. The only thing that I feel could use some work is the urine smell that was in the bathroom and better mattresses would of been nice.. but we all know RV mattresses are not meant to be comfortable.

  • This stay was perfect! Charming, cozy, and peaceful. The fireplace kept the tent very warm. The animals were super friendly and cute! I loved it!!

    Kaila2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Erica and Chris were excellent hosts! The property was beautiful. Not only was everything super clean and well organized, but Erica and Chris went above and beyond by providing firewood, warm drinks, and fresh eggs! They helped us out when we had trouble starting the fire and made sure we were warm in the winter months by providing lots of extra blankets! The animals were an added bonus and made for an amusing night! Loved everything about this glamping experience and would definitely recommend this place to anybody looking for a cozy, relaxing, and beautiful night! I can’t say enough good things about our stay!

    Rebecca2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Erica and Chris were great hosts. This was our first time glamping and we wouldn’t change a thing! They have everything you could possibly need in the tent and if you have any questions they are right there to answer and are both super friendly! Erica did a great job explaining everything to us and had a farm fresh eggs for us to make in the morning for breakfast. Overall, such an awesome stay and I highly recommend!

    Madison2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • We had such an amazing time at Invigorate Glamping! It was much more than we expected, and the view of the stars were just breathtaking! Erica & Chris were great hosts. We definitely enjoyed spending time with Trooper, Francesca, Missy, Elliot, and two of the friendly dogs we have ever met! If and when we come back to Arizona, we will definitely rebook here.

    Sheila2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Only stayed for one night but had a great time at the yurt. Erica greeted us on arrival and showed us around. The yurt is cute and cozy, the outdoor bathroom is really cool. Stayed warm all night despite really low temperature outside. The goats came in the morning and demanded scratches and hugs. Would definitely stay again!

    Margaret2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • If you're considering staying here - do it! We had such an amazing time camping without roughing it. Despite temperatures getting really low at night, we stayed very warm with the wood burning stove and all of the blankets. The location is very convenient to the Grand Canyon and they had everything we could've needed in the tent. Erica and Chris (and the goats, chickens, pigs, and sweet dog) are amazingly hospitable and accommodating. Definitely an experience we won't ever forget!

    Sarah Beth2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Erica & Chris are great people, location is good and a hop skip away from the Grand Canyon and getting food or whatever you need for your trip. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Enjoy camping under the stars! We have two spots for tent camping a few yards from each other with a mountain view and coyote lullabies. Our property is shared with an Airstream which we also share with guests. The yard has cattle fencing around it to prevent local herds from wandering through. Store food in a secure spot away from your tent to discourage wildlife. We have foam sleeping mats ($5 per), bags ($5 per) and a four person tent ($15) available for an additional cost. NO BATHROOM
You'll have access to our primitive and rustic yard. It has cattle fencing and a gate.
You will be 35 minutes from the Grand Canyon. 45 minutes from Flagstaff.
  • Great place to crash near the Grand Canyon, with great night sky views.

    Ethan2019-10-17T00:00:00Z
  • I really enjoyed camping here. The camping space was very well designed and felt isolated without being too far from the highway. Night sky was amazing, easily one of the highlights of my trip. The toilets were clean and easily accessible. Great spot to stay if you're on your way up to the Grand Canyon or down to Flagstaff.

    Christine2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • James and Sarah’s campground place was the perfect space to camp for visiting the Grand Canyon. Beautiful stars, sunsets and sunrises, and nice hosts. You’ll definitely get the full camping experience here, but that’s half the fun of it. Bring lots of extra clothes as the temperature drops a lot at night. As other said, be prepared for a very bumpy drive to the site - just take your time and it’s not a problem. The compost toilet area is spacious all things considered. They have running water for washing your hands or whatever - I did bring my own hand soap just in case and did have to use it, so keep that in mind too.

    Sara2019-06-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot for camping under the stars and only a short drive to the canyon. However, the road to get to the site is an unpaved dirt road so beware when traveling in smaller non four wheel drive vehicles. We made it on our VW Passat, but some muddy spots made us nervous! Overall though, great experience.

    Bryan2019-05-14T00:00:00Z
  • Responsive and attentive host you can stay there without problem. The view is extraordinary

    Sabrina2019-05-05T00:00:00Z
  • This place was really nice! It was definitely far away enough so that it was a true camping experience, but there was also a small fence so it seemed somewhat secure from predators. Still kept my snacks in my car of course though. I camped here by myself and felt completely safe. My first time in Arizona. Would definitely stay again!

    Chelsea2019-04-28T00:00:00Z
  • Very good campsite. The view of the mountains and the sunrise are magnificent. Located 40min drive from the Grand Canyon Park entrance

  • Awesome location when visiting the Grand Canyon, and was very reasonably priced. The place is very peaceful and held 5 of us comfortably. Paul was awesome when helping us with car trouble we are very grateful for his help.

    Miranda2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Good location with good value.

    Daniel2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • I recommend this place if visiting the south rim of Grand Canyon. This is a bit of a ways away from there (40 minutes) but is much better priced and is quite comfortable if you want a secluded stay (which we did) and enjoy a fire in desert (thank you Paul) We made the sunrise no problem and we had a one year old:) so it really is not too far but if you want closer, you will pay for it Some dirt roads approaching house, not a big deal but would avoid if don’t want to get dust/dirt on car. Also don’t expect super comfortable amnesties, this is an rv meant for sleeping in and not much else Paul was very accommodating and made sure we were sorted when we got there and was always available in communication. But don’t expect any expert tips as far as the area (eating, attractions, etc.) Not fully his fault as he just moved there and frankly there isn’t much So in summary, if you looking for a reasonably priced place relatively close to gcsr, go for it.

    Chadd2019-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • As city slickers, this is not a glamping experience. This unit is about a mile off of the highway in the country. This unit is off-grid, and you should be prepared for it. Paul did a great job of getting us access to the utilities available. With that in mind, if you are looking for a peaceful environment with a 360 degree view of the breath-taking Arizona horizon, this would be the place. This biggest plus is that you are only 30 miles from the Grand Canyon South Rim entrance and you are not paying anywhere near the prices of the hotels along the way. We will never forget sitting outside, wrapped in a blanket, enjoying the sunset next to our very own campfire - and staying until it burned itself off.

    Jeff2019-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent accommodation, very good deal with Paul. The caravan is comfortable and being at night in the middle of nature is great.

    Leo2019-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • Great completely off grid experience about 30 minutes from the center of town and close to the Grand Canyon.

    Keisha2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Paul and the trail were great! Everything was perfect! Beautiful open space!

    Francesco2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • It is off the beaten track but the area is beautiful. Paul is very hospitable and is there when you need him. It’s s great place to stay near the Grand Canyon for a decent price.

Discover a new adventure every day in this newly remodeled, private 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom studio apartment. This cozy room is located 20 miles away from the Grand Canyon National Park in a mobile home park 3 minutes down a gravel road. Let the worries of the world slip away while you prepare for your Grand Canyon adventure with a plush queen-size bed that sleeps 2, a smart TV with WIFI, a microwave, and a mini fridge. Only minutes away from a gas station and restaurants.
Access will include a separate queen bedroom, one bathroom, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator/freezer, and smart TV. Due to our remoteness, our night skies offer world-class stargazing.
  • Nice place, recommend

  • Great, clean place to stay if you’re visiting the Grand Canyon.

    Max2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • This place is perfect for anyone not looking to break the bank when visiting the Grand Canyon. It’s got anything you need, and the communication is great.

    Cameron2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Very comfortable bed! Also close to the south rim entrance! Would book again.

    Julio2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Great location near the Grand Canyon!

    Paulina2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Directions and hints about finding the place, lighting, safety were all very helpful and accurate. The listing is well represented. I would recommend it if you want to see the Grand Canyon and Sedona areas and not blow your budget on lodgings. How long do you need to be in the room, anyway, when there's the Grand Canyon and Sedona to visit? It's convenient enough for both.

    Mike2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Nickel to spend the night before going to the Grand Canyon beautiful sunset the price a little high puts good it is close to the GC I recommend.
