  • Lovely home away from home.

    Paula2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, adorable space, this was a terrific home base for touring bourbon country!

    Eve2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • The home was cute, clean and convenient! We were able to walk to dinner, shopping, etc. We loved all of the bourbon themed details! We didn’t reach out for anything additional, but host had great communication for check in/check out. We travelled with another couple and it was perfect to split the duplex (it’s connected to another unit) to be close but still have some privacy. Would definitely recommend!

    Leah2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We truly enjoyed our stay in Frankfort. There seems to be a great team running these Airbnb’s and we would absolutely stay in the bourbon on the hill again in a heartbeat. Clean, safe, stylish, and great amenities!

    Brandon2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Bourbon on the Hill was such a sweet place to stay! It's so stylish, clean, and close to downtown Frankfort. Our only regret was not staying here longer than just one night. We will definitely look to stay here again in the future! We loved it!

    Taylor2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, within walking distance to many restaurants and bars, and a short drive away from distilleries!

    Shelby2020-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • This was the perfect place for a weekend away with friends. It was close to some great KY attraction, including some tasty local restaurants. Bourbon on the Hill was clean, cozy and easy to get in and out of, as well locate.

  • We had a wonderful long weekend in Kentucky and really enjoyed our stay at the condo! The owner was quick to respond to messages and promptly addressed our needs when the unexpected occurred. A stylish and modern place to stay with thoughtful touches to make it cozy, personal, and extra sweet.

    Sara2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend to catch up on some creative projects we're working on. The place itself is super cute and comfortable to hang out in. We cooked all our meals there, were able to cast our streaming services, etc. to the TV easily, and enjoyed the nice big windows as we spent most of our days in the living room. The hosts are very kind and communicative, both in person and over messenger.

    Jennifer2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • I really felt like I was at home. I wish I could stay longer. The place was comfortable and clean. I also really enjoyed my privacy.

You will love this tiny home that was original carriage house on this property over 75 years ago. The inside has now been completely remodeled with the exception of the original pine wood floors because I just love them to much to change. It is conveniently located very close to downtown Frankfort and only minutes away from Buffalo Trace Distillery. You will have private parking and will be within 10 min walking distance of the charming downtown. Please note there is WiFi & Netflix
This small house stole my heart the minute I saw it. Once I found out it was the original carriage house on the property I didn't need to know anything more. It is perfect for a couple or individual wanting a weekend getaway or a small family that doesn't mind to put the kiddos on the pull out couch in the living room.
This is a small, safe, quaint community just outside downtown frankfort perched at the top of the river canyon walls.
  • Great place with friendly hosts!

    Courtney2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • The Carriage House was cozy and cute. We especially appreciated the easy check in and the fact that Heather had the heat on since we arrived after midnight due to a delayed flight. Heather was such a considerate host, asking what we preferred for breakfast and providing us with scissors so we could wrap Christmas gifts. We'd love to stay here again when we are in the area!

    Wanda2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful home located 9 walking minutes from the city. Updated bathroom and kitchen. Owner very accommodating to needs. Even gave us tasty pastries! Super comfy blankets. Couch is a cute pull out snuggle space!

    Allyson2019-12-14T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful, charming, perfect place to stay in Frankfort! We could not have asked for a better spot - great location, incredible amenities, sparkling clean, and so much more. Heather was quick to respond to our messages, and was thoughtful when she did. She also had pastries, coffee, fruit, juice, and oatmeal waiting for us! We will definitely stay here again!

    Steven2019-12-11T00:00:00Z
  • As others have mentioned, the photos do not do Heather's place justice. The apartment is updated and modern in a historic carriage house. It was well equipped with all the necessary items and many thoughtful touches, such as breakfast and juice for the morning. In addition, the apartment was conveniently located in walking distance to downtown and several restaurants and bars we were interested in trying. Communication with the with host was easy and clear. A wonderful example of why Airbnb beats a hotel room any day! I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

    Sarah2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • My first time booking through Airbnb and I couldn't have asked for a better host . The little home is so cute and stylish as though it were taken right out of IKEA! Also very cozy and comfy. We will definitely be booking again !

    Katelyn2019-11-26T00:00:00Z
  • Heather provided an amazing experience with a very clean home and everything we could ask for! We will definitely be staying here again anytime we come back to the Lexington area.

    Gracie2019-11-17T00:00:00Z

  • Charm is an understatement! We were blown away by the beautiful living spaces and amenities. The older, quirky touches were amazing and the bed was comfortable. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Natural light was to die for. All at the end of a quiet street. Will be coming back year after year!

    Rachel2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This apartment is a great place to relax and located on a very quiet street. The neighborhood was beautiful and historic. We very much enjoyed our stay.

  • Your journey with Elizabeth will begin with super prompt communication, as well as an enthusiastically welcoming spirit. Her home is absolutely beautiful and has, literally, EVERYTHING you will need for your stay. I will definitely stay there again...and again...and again lol. 😃

    Michelle2020-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • Tons of character in what is probably the best Airbnb in Frankfort. Located on a historic residential street with colonial charm. View of the river and a short walk to restaurants and sights. Nicer and bigger than the photos. Elizabeth was a great host and had it well stocked for us. Very close to Buffalo Trace. Overall a great visit.

    Clint2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Elizabeth’s place felt like visiting your favorite relative. I arrived after a long drive to find hot tea, snacks, water and milk all provided. Elizabeth retrieved me when I was lost and helped me immediately when I locked myself out of the apartment. She was so kind and helpful to this tired traveler with pups and a toddler. One of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had!

    Bernabe2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • This was my first Airbnb experience so I was nervous and actually had some local hotels on back up. But our stay went without a hitch. We did have to contact the host once and they responded immediately. Fantastic space and incredibly cute. We arrived very late at night on a very cold and snowy day and found the heaters kicked up, the lights on, and everything ready. What a nice welcome after a long drive.

    Aimee2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Sarah’s place was the perfect size and in a great location to get anywhere from the great outdoors to downtown to the nearby distilleries. The art throughout the place was fun to check out and added a nice touch. I especially liked the huge ice cube mold in the freezer, a great perk in bourbon country!

    Natalie2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Book this. Charming.

    Julie2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Cute little house close to Buffalo Trace Distillery. Quiet, older neighborhood. I stayed a week and really enjoyed it!

    Patti2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean and well stocked

    Jan2020-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • Sarah's place was just what we expected. Very accurate listing. We walked everywhere we wanted to go but could be a little far for some. The weather was not good so we didn't get to explore the park system as much as we wanted to but the area has great potential to enjoy the outdoors along the river. Overall a very great place. If we are in the area again we will definitely consider staying again.

  • Pictures were spot on, space was wonderfully clean, the local suggestions were awesome, and there is street parking directly outside the door. It's a cute town, felt like a safe area with lots of couples and young kids. The hosts responded quite quickly and were really great about any accommodations we needed. Nice, private space! We would 100% come back here.

    Andrea2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • The downtown Frankfort apartment you wish you had. Modern design, comfortable and private even though it's in the heart of downtown, right in the thick of everything. On top of everything, Craig was super-nice and helpful. When we couldn't get the live channel working on Super Bowl night, he patiently walked us through all the troubleshooting steps on the phone, and then he drove over to look into the issue himself. (Turns out we had inadvertently hit something on the remote control that needed to be reset with a simple click of a button.) We're recommending the apartment to all of our friends who visit Frankfort.

  • My favorite place to stay in Frankfort. It’s perfect in every way

    Leigh2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • As another reviewer stated, the pictures don’t do this place justice. It’s huge and very clean. It’s literally on Main Street so I didn’t need a car the whole time. Check in was in my time and everything I needed was there (towels, toiletries, etc). I would highly recommend this and will definitely seek it out next time I’m in Frankfort.

    Pete2020-02-24T00:00:00Z

  • The apartment was easy to find and entry was via keypad. Parking is only available on the downtown street side (limited weekday hours) or a couple blocks to a parking garage. The mattress and pillows were memory foam and comfortable. The host was easy to contact, if you need anything.

    Katie2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • Incredibly beautiful place! Newly remodeled, everything is new, and it’s right in the middle of downtown so you can walk to restaurants and the movie theater you can see out the window. Huge ceilings, it’s gorgeous! The bed was incredibly comfortable, so comfortable I had to find out before I left who made it because I want to buy the same one for my home. Perfect spot to stay when you’re exploring the nearby distilleries. Clean clean clean!

  • Very modern and stylish place. The pictures don’t really do it justice I was very impressed when I walked in. The bed is comfortable, the heating and cooling was very easy to operate. A very big couch with a nice TV as well as a second TV in the bedroom. Great choice for a great price

Craig and Amy were very easy to work with and attentive to our needs. We had a fuse go out and they quickly remedied the situation. It’s an excellent value and we would definitely stay there again.

  • This place is a treat. Small but sparkling, and just as the photos seemed. The hosts were super helpful and communicative, and everything was seamless for a rookie Air BnB’er who was a bit anxious. I only needed a convenient place to lay my head, but my regret is that I didn’t have an opportunity for a longer stay. Looking forward to another night this week!

This neighborhood is very rural with Cedar Fire Farm outlined by a row of hobby farms.
  • Great hospitality!

  • Great place out in the woods, surrounded by a crystal clear starry sky and meandering horses. Rooster crows will awake you in the morning, and there's coffee fixings in the cabin. Spotty cell phone reception, but I take that as a plus. Will definitely stay there again.

    Pratyush2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the country setting and campground atmosphere. We would stay here again, thank you so much!

    Dave And Nita2019-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • This place was a gem! Very relaxing and a great place to unplug from life. The horses joined us for coffee on the first morning which was very cool. The location is about 30 minutes from all the main distilleries (Four Roses, Wild Turkey, Woodford and Buffalo Trace). We also did a horseback ride and I highly recommend it. I would definitely stay here again!

    Nicole2019-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • Come for the horses, stay for the atmosphere. Come closer to nature through partnerships with horses. The hosts are wonderful and there are always friendly visitors and regulars. Don't expect wifi. Be prepared to disconnect as it isn't electronics friendly.

We are located right in the heart of downtown Frankfort! Shops, museums, restaurants, and breweries are all surrounding. We are located just between the Old State Capitol Building and the Kentucky History Center. During the summer months, free concerts are held on the Old Capitol lawn every other weekend. History, art, and shopping are all within a glance. At the end of Broadway presets the Farmer's Market that sits along the popular Riverview Park that follows along the Kentucky River. The historic RJ Coleman railroad also runs right down Broadway and may present itself during your stay!
  • The apartment is very centrally located. From here you can easily walk to many cafes and restaurants or enjoy the quaint pottery and local craft shop diagonally across the road. As described, the apartment is in a restored building and the hosts have done well to maintain many of the vintage aspects of the building. Just a note, it is above a restaurant so access is up a staircase. The apartment was spotlessly clean, the bed comfortable and the hosts kindly left quite a few brochures, guides, and maps of the area. I was also grateful for the very nice Keurig coffee machine and the complimentary coffee.

  • Very nice space in a great location! Would gladly stay here again. We came into town for the annual Kentuckians for Medicinal Marijuana advocacy days, which meant spending two full days at the Capitol and Annex in meetings. We are patients, which for me in particular means it’s hard to drive distance, especially when exhausted. It was so nice to be able to come back to this comfortable space and relax! The restaurant downstairs, Gibby’s, was delicious and we loved the easy access. This is a wonderful Airbnb conveniently located in downtown Frankfort. Thanks for hosting us, Michael!

On the Bourbon Trail The Buffalo Springs Distilling Company got it's start in 1868. It closed and it's warehouses were emptied out by the 1970's. This building is one of the last structures left on the site. This historic building was the main office and gatehouse for visitors to the distillery, so we can offer one bedroom due to the size of the structure. There's a Queen size bed and plenty of room for a couple or perhaps a 3rd and 4th person that can use the couch and our Queen air bed.
Bourbon History buffs will love the opportunity to stay overnight in an old distillery building. This lodging has a large main room, fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a Queen bed, bathroom, and laundry area. There's a City Park almost adjacent to the rear of the property and a family restaurant, stores, bank, post office, gasoline, and Police Station within walking distance.
This area is where the small town of Stamping Ground began. Walk over to the Park and you'll see Buffalo Springs. This freshwater Spring provided water for the entire town. This Spring has never run dry. This Spring was also the elixir that made the Buffalo Spring's Distilling Company's Bourbon taste so well. If you love Bourbon, history, small towns, or simply unique lodgings, we think you will love this little Kentucky Limestone retreat.
  • I typically don't write reviews, but here we go. Kayla's space was 1000000% and even then some. Every detail about this house was well thought out and personal. Kayla was also very accommodating us with wanting to check in a little early, even though we ended up not doing that. She was very easy to get in touch with and the space was sparkling clean from the moment we walked in! I loved that we were also able to bring our little pug along with us. This space is so unique, tasteful, beautiful, and everything in between. I would reccomend this spot to ANYONE and would love to come back again to stay!

  • We loved this space! It is so unique! Convenient to downtown Lexington and so many other fun things the area has to offer. The drive in was beautiful! The history of the building was on display for an extra personal touch. It’s not just a typical AirBNB, IT’S SPECIAL! Cozy, convenient, spotless, quiet neighborhood, it was perfect! We will definitely book again when we come back to visit! Thank you Kayla!

  • Smart and stylish place with eclectic curated art everywhere, while maintaining a welcoming and comfortable air. The host and her friend Paula are attentive and also appropriately unobtrusive, and also knowledgeable about the area - lots of cool stuff to do in Frankfort, lots of history. Incredible arcade view of the Kentucky State Capitol. Take my advice: spend some time with the window shades up. The room affords a picturesque view of downtown Frankfort, which has managed to preserve its historic charm perfectly. During afternoons and early evenings, a train meanders along the tracks that run smack dab through the heart of downtown. Paula and Pam made my stay perfect, and ensured that my visit to Frankfort was the getaway I was needing. Thanks, guys!

They are not allowed in the guest room, but feel free to enjoy them otherwise. Please respect my property as if your home--No Candles/Open Flames in house.
Simple 1960's subdivision that is safe and quiet. We sit at the top of our street, know all our neighbors, and keep a lookout for everyone. Please be kind and be quiet upon late arrival, no slamming doors or car/lock alarms please. Quiet time indoors and out round 10ish pm, weekend's much more lax, as a fire may bring some friendly musicians at times.

Newly renovated 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment in historic downtown Frankfort building with ample parking and gorgeous views of the Kentucky River. Luxury finishes and fully furnished with amenities you’ll need for a weekend or long term stay. Walking distance to everything in downtown Frankfort. Close to KY Bourbon Trail, Keeneland and Churchill Downs. Located adjacent to the Blanton’s Landing dock, perfect access for fishing, canoeing and kayaking, parking available for trailers.
You will have access to the entire apartment fronting on the Kentucky River with off street parking!
This property was one of the first stone houses built in historic downtown Frankfort. Just a few steps up to the Capital Ave bridge will give you a perfect view of the Kentucky State Capitol Building. You are 3 doors down from Bourbon on Main offering a great bourbon and craft beer selection along with great food. 2 blocks down is St Clair Street offering great restaurants and bars along with live music on select nights. Buffalo Trace Distillery is just a short drive away (the local trolley can take you as well).
  • Perfect if your traveling along the bourbon trail! It’s within walking distance to Bourbon on Main (highly recommend eating there!) and Goodwood brewery. Air bnb was very clean, spacious for a couple, and the bed was comfortable. Both TVs had cable and the option to sign in to various streaming services.

Relax and enjoy our beautiful, clean home! It’s a family-friendly home filled with natural light, simple decor, and it's so cozy you won’t want to leave! You will have complete, private use of the main level of our '60s ranch-style home, including three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, living room, kitchen/dining area, and large deck. It is a short, 5-10 minute drive to historic downtown Frankfort, west side shopping centers, and I-64.
The three bedrooms, king, queen, and twin, are beautifully decorated to make you feel welcomed and comfortable. The king master bedroom has a TV and attached full bathroom with a tub/shower. The second full bathroom serving the rest of the house also has a tub-shower. The kitchen invites you to easy meal preparation on a large, granite-top counter and island, using the the gas stove, oven, and microwave. Enjoy your meals at the island or the oak dining table. From the kitchen, open the French doors and step outside onto a large elevated private deck, making you feel like you’ve escaped into a tree house. During nice weather the half-covered deck may be where you’ll spend much of your visit, day and night, with comfy outdoor furniture, two dining tables (one for a romantic dinner or one for a group meal), BBQ grill, potted flowers, and quick views of all kinds of Kentucky birds. The view from the house’s ridgetop location into the adjacent wooded valley and hills beyond completes this experience, filling your senses with the great outdoors. The nearly constant gentle breeze eases the potential discomfort of hot days and insects. On a cold, hot or rainy day, the two walls of windows on opposite sides of the combined kitchen, dining area, and living room let you see the natural world from inside while letting in abundant light. This spacious and comfortable living room has couches, a TV, and a table for games, puzzles, or computer work, offering quiet time or visiting time. We welcome you to our home and wish you a wonderful memorable stay!
The house is located in the Cloverdale/Collins Lane subdivision, mostly developed in the 1960s. Many of the houses have beautiful large shade trees and mature landscaping. Our neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet with very light, occasional traffic, perfect for walking, jogging, or just relaxing on the front porch. It is a short 5-10 minute drive to historic downtown Frankfort, west side shopping centers, and I-64.
  • Great location and very responsive hosts! A beautiful light filled home with relaxing views from the back deck! I highly recommend if you need accommodations in Frankfort.

We enjoy "welcoming the world" into our historic home in downtown Versailles. Staying here will give you a quintessential small town living experience, with a malt shop, antique stores, a library, churches and a variety of locally owned restaurants all within walking distance, yet we are 10 minutes by car from Bluegrass Airport, world class racing at Keeneland, stunning horse farms, the state capital and KSU, the Kentucky Castle, and the Bourbon Trail.
Our home is historic, and therefore full of charm, including original wood floors, five fireplaces, a retro kitchen, different door frames, and solid plaster construction. Please come prepared to adapt to the challenges of staying in an older home.
Versailles (population 9270) is the county seat of Woodford County, known for its world famous horse farms (Lane's End Farm, Ashford Stud, Three Chimneys Farm, WinStar Farm) Woodford Reserve Distillery, Irish Acres shopping/The Glitz dining experience in Nonesuch, theatre and sports activities at Falling Springs Recreation Center, the Kentucky Castle, Wildside Winery, and the Bluegrass Scenic Railroad museum, just to name a few of the activities available in our community. Kentucky’s largest Kroger supermarket is only a 3 minute drive from our home. April through October, there’s a farmer’s market on Saturdays in the parking lot across from Kroger. Just a 10 minute drive away is a state of the arts community center, Falling Springs, with fitness classes, yoga, workout facilities, basketball and an indoor lap pool, all for $6.50 per visit (adults).
  • This is a wonderful gem in Versailles, KY. Julie and Steve are both very nice and their home is perfect for a get-away. The dogs and cats also give it that "at home" feel.

  • We absolutely loved our time here - it ended all too soon. Julie and Steve are very comfortable to be around. You might even get to hear Steve’s band play or see a video of his latest scuba-diving venture or learn about Julie’s missionary trip to Africa. Julie and Steve took time to play board games with our 10-year-old. Their two sweet dogs and independent cats were the icing on the cake for her. Versailles was an easy, short drive to both Lexington and Frankfort - two places we needed to be. The house is spacious, lovely, and a dream stay for those who appreciate historic homes. (We do!)

    Robin2020-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely, historic home in a charming, small town in Central Kentucky. We have loved every minute. The hosts are relaxed, personable, and fun to be around. They have helpful tips about things to see. We have plenty of room, and we love the pets - very sweet.

Just minutes from downtown Frankfort, this place is a little peaceful country getaway with a lot to offer! It’s nestled on a quiet street with great access to the beautiful Elkhorn Creek! If you’re into Bourbon tours, Horses, canoeing/kayaking/fishing, or Natural and Historical sites, this place is a great location in the middle of a lot to see and do! The tiny house has a small kitchen and bath as well as a yard and private patio and grill to enjoy!
This little place has huge charm! It was hand built using live edge walnut wood for various interior parts, a spiral staircase, an antimicrobial copper sink and copper shower, and many other reclaimed/ recycled building materials. It was built over the course of several years to showcase creativity and to have a place for friends, family, and other adventure minded people to enjoy!
As you may see this is a wonderful place to live and visit! We have access to an incredible creek at both ends of the road! There are fields and woods around us and the one lane road ends at the creek. Weekends around here are always fun with friends visiting and a great vibe of happy campers from the campground enjoying the area! It’s a great country setting yet super close to town!
  • Amazing tiny home built by hand by the owner! Really unique spot, great stop in between bourbon tours. Very clean, loaded with everything you would need, Matt is quick to respond to any message as well.

  • This was our second stay at Matt's cabin and we can't wait to come back. The cabin has the perfect amount of cozy space with all the right touches. Head into Frankfort for some dinner and a museum tour or hit the bourbon trail and return to this amazing space to relax. Matt is a great host and goes the extra mile to make sure your stay is special.

  • We arrived late, 11pm ish, and were received by a warm welcome from Angie which made us know we had arrived home... at least for the weekend.

    Stephanie2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • If you are looking to get away, yet be treated like an old friend in a new place that is quiet and pleasant to be around, this is the place for you. The host Angie was there when needed, yet gave us privacy also. I couldn’t ask for a better experience. The campers that are regulars here were friendly and outgoing. I immediately felt accepted in their little neighborhood. Come see for yourself, but save some room for me because I will be back.

  • I have no complaints great place, friendly staff, and beautiful view would stay again!

    Josh2019-05-05T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time at this adorable apartmentat the Kentucky River Campground. The apartment deck overlooks the campground AND the river. It was beautiful! I spent all 4 mornings out on the deck with coffee in hand and wouldn't have it any other way. The deck has a little bistro table with a couple of chairs and a bigger table with an umbrella and 4 chairs. There is also a charcoal grill on the deck as well! We used that 2 of the nights. It was perfect. The apartment itself is updated and has nice furnishings and cute decor. Everything was sparkling clean and recently painted. The beds are a little firm for my taste, but after the 1st night, I had no problem and was used to it. I slept like a baby after the 1st night accually. Bring extra blankets if you like to sleep with more than a sheet and comforter. For us it was perfect though. The kitchen has a stove/oven, fridge, toaster and coffee maker for appliances. No microwave. That was fine for us, as we never use one anyway, but figured it was worth mentioning for fellow travelers. There are plates, cups, silverware and pots and pans for you to use. The people at this campground are SO friendly. We have no complaints at all. The campers and employees are fantastic. It's a great location too... we prefer to be off main roads and away from the hustle and bustle. It was just what we were looking for. We will be back.

    Tim2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Darra’s place was just as pictured. Cozy living room and the most well appointed kitchen I have seen in an AirB&B. Quality bedding, drapes and comfortable beds. 1/2 bath down and full bath up with an abundance of super thick towels in each. We even had a full size washer and dryer. The host was most easy to reach and was most accommodating and even had a Christmas Tree decorated in the living room. We were there for the Governor’s inauguration, parade and evening balls, and the home was super close to the capital and all the festivities. Great job on a quality accommodation, I would definitely stay again.

On the National Register of Historic Places, you'll love the ambience of this early 1800's home. Antique but with modern conveniences. A little rough in places, but it is 200 years old. It is close to Lexington, Frankfort, and Georgetown, but in a small, friendly, community. Only 14 miles and about 20 minutes to the Kentucky Horse Park. But at least 45 minutes to the Ark. 10% discount for stays of 5 consecutive days or more. Pet friendly. Message us for discounts on longer stays.
Great area for bicycling. Lots of flat roads and some not so flat. Try out the Legacy Trail between Lexington and Georgetown. Lots of good routes for motorcyclists, too. There's a park for walking across the street that has exercise stations along the trail.
  • We had a group of 3 couples getting together for only one night. The house was easy to find and Sue was great at communicating check in instructions and answering questions. We arrived to a plate of cookies. The place oozes charm and character. Really neat old house and with the plaster walls, there is no noise. It was a quick trip so we didn't linger much but would definitely be some place I would stay for longer. The price really can't be beat either. Thanks so much for opening your home to us!

  • My wife and I stay at the Bradford house at least 3-4 times per year. And each time is better than the last. Sue seems to be constantly making improvements for the benefit of her guests. We are always glad to return.

    Thomas2019-11-23T00:00:00Z
  • Sooooo charming! This house is beautiful, spacious, and so much better in person! Pictures do not do it justice. Hosts were amazing and quick to respond. Highly recommend!

    Dominique2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • The House was adorable-very unique and super comfortable. It was spotlessly clean. The location was very convenient and extremely easy to find. My friend and I enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay here again. Finding a pet friendly house was absolutely fantastic for the price!

    Vera2019-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • Let me start by saying the pictures do NOT do this house justice! This historic home was big enough for five people to use all three bedrooms and feel comfortable. The bedroom off the bathroom was a very minor issue (when someone was using the bathroom those people coudn't get into their room)...but not a deal breaker at all. We loved the funky antique feel, the coziness of the sitting rooms, and the great kitchen! Kitchen was well-stocked with plenty of space...and the counter and barstools around it let the rest of us socialize while the cooks did their thing. Was also a great buffet setup. The outdoor area was great! Bathroom was huge and gorgeous. Beds were extremely comfortable. There was plenty of dry, seasoned wood to use in either the outdoor firepit or the woodstove inside. The area around Sue's house was incredibly beautiful with rolling hills, horses, trees, and winding roads. Stamping Ground itself is a historic spot which is worth looking into for anyone who is into history. There is a gas station and a dollar general within walking distance of the house which have essentials, otherwise a kroger marketplace (where you can get pretty much everything under the sun) is just a 15 minute drive away in Georgetown. Georgetown itself has lots of shopping and eating opportunities. We went to kentucky for the bourbon trail and there were many choices within 30 minutes of the house. Sue really knows the area and was able to suggest and show us some really wonderful places! Plus the house is stocked with magazines and brochures to nearby attractions in addition to lots of books on a variety of subjects. Our only snag was when we tried to get an Uber to take us around some bars one night... was difficult to get an uber to come out there and the taxi fare was quite expensive. But for anyone who plans to drive it is an easy drive. Sue as a host was quick and concise in her responses and a joy to work with. She was very helpful in organizing our bourbon tour. Her southern hospitality really made us feel welcome! Overall we all enjoyed our stay!! This place is an amazing deal for what you get, very highly recommend! We hope to come back ourselves someday!

Enjoy a quaint, private, quiet & charming little place to call your own, on a small, working (seasonal) Thoroughbred horse farm. Green acreage, lovely scenes and sunsets. Located in horse country, between historic Winstar Farm and Lane's End Farm, just a short drive to small town USA, Versailles, historic Midway, and to the nearby City of Lexington, home of the Kentucky Wildcats, Horse Capital of the World, Bourbon Country & so much more.
A little slice of Kentucky life, experience for yourself what Horse Country is all about. You’ll have an entire home on a Thoroughbred horse farm. Located off of Hwy. 1681, Old Frankfort Pike (the backroad), also called Thoroughbred Alley, the drive alone may be worth the visit :) especially in the Fall.
10 minute drive time to downtown Versailles, 18 minutes to Keeneland, 25-30 minutes to University of Kentucky and Kroger Field, Rupp Arena/Lexington Convention Center, downtown Lexington. Kroger Marketplace, shops, fast and sit-down dining are 4-5 miles drive. Historic Midway, a 6.6 miles drive to local shops and dining. 20 minutes to Bluegrass Airport. Several Kentucky Bourbon Trail stops are within close proximity including Woodford Reserve, Buffalo Trace, Wild Turkey, Four Roses, Town Branch and more.
  • Very hospitable on very short notice. Loved our stay.

  • Great location for easy access to Versailles and Frankfort (distilleries), Lexington (Rupp Arena, Downtown) and not too far for a day trip to Louisville. You'll enjoy a slice of small town farm living and see grass and horses for miles in all directions. We enjoyed having coffee on the back porch each morning. Good times in Bluegrass country.

  • This tiny little nugget of heaven in the middle of a horse pasture is an amazing place to disconnect and sit and watch the sunrise from the front porch and the sunset from the back. It is immaculate on the inside and really has everything you need to enjoy your time. The peace and tranquility that surrounds this special, well remodeled home is something that made my 50th birthday weekend celebration one for the memory books. There are great restaurants in Versailles (Rolling Oven and Ricardos to name a couple), it is close to many distilleries and breweries and it is just darn cute. It is just a really special place.
