Highly recommend. Safe, clean and reasonably priced, Christina's home is lovely and well equipped. All the thoughtful touches were much appreciated from the refrigerator stocked with breakfast items to the snack basket upon arrival truly made us feel welcomed. Christina was quick to respond to any questions we had and the guest book had many great suggestions for local favorites. Whether you're just passing through, in town for a visit or considering a longer stay you cannot go wrong by booking here.

Kelly's house is a great place to stay especially if you are traveling and need someplace close ( but not too close) to I-80. I had to find someplace to stay overnight on my way from Michigan to southern New York state. I instantly felt at home as soon as I arrived. Her home is nicely decorated and the beds were very comfortable (I stayed two separate nights). She is very friendly and personable.

Christina always provides a comfortable, clean place. We love staying there.

Notter house #2 was a great stay! It was such a perfect place for me and dog. It was super close to the hospital I was working at and very close the the beaver meadow walkway! Such a nice walkway for my dog and I; it also has a nice little dog park for your four legged friends! The kitchen at Notter house was stocked with lots of pots and pans for cooking! Very spacious place and great deal for the cost! The upstairs neighbors are very nice and quiet! Erika was always super quick with her responses when I would have a question which was super helpful!

I had never stayed in an Airbnb before staying in the Notter House. It has set my expectations pretty high for future Airbnb’s! I absolutely loved my stay at the Notter House #2!! The beds are comfortable, the WiFi was great, and the space overall is absolutely gorgeous! I spent 3 months here and I was sad to leave. The area around the Notter House is very nice too. There is Downtown Dubois (some restaurants, bakeries, and stores) within a 5 minute walk of the Notter House. Overall a very quiet neighborhood. If you are staying in Dubois for a long or short period of time, your time will be well spent here 😁

Staying here was a great experience and it had everything I needed given my relocation to this area. Apartment is MUCH bigger than it looks on line. For unit #2, you have the entire second floor. While older (as is everything in this town really), it has been meticulously maintained and was exceptionally clean. Additionally, it is just 300ft from two of the best restaurants in the town. So if you are looking for a place with true character - this is it. The original woodwork and stain glass accents of the building are just stunning. You have to see to believe. And finally Erika, the owner, hast exceptionally nice and response my entire 5 weeks I was there. Cannot recommend this place enough - and I don't write reviews. You wont regret choosing this place for your temporary stay here in Dubois.

This has been my favorite place I’ve stayed since I’ve started traveling for work 5 years ago.

Place was way bigger than expected. Had a a ton of room with ample amounts of furniture. While it was an old house with occasional minor issues, Erika was super quick with responses and accommodating us along the way! Amazing value with great and helpful neighbors! Definitely would recommend.

Matt and Val were great post from our very first interaction. They were accommodating to her travel plans and replied promptly to our request and questions. The apartment itself exceeded our expectations and we were very pleased with the added touches they had left for us. Matt was very helpful when we arrived and not only showing us around but offering suggestions for areas of interest that we questioned. I highly recommend if you are traveling to or through this area that you stay here. It has everything you need, is very clean and affordable. Matt and Val provided a quiet retreat close to Elk country. The garage apartment was exceptionally clean and included extra thoughtful touches. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a weekend getaway to relax! Matt provided binoculars for us to use for Elk spotting, and Val gave local restaurant recommendations.

If youre trying to get away for the weekend, this is the place to go! Has a homey feeling.

Fantastic place! Matt and Val were very pleasant and helpful and also left us to our private time. Perfect mix of helpfulness and privacy! The apt is smaller but perfect for a couple travelling. We had plenty of room in the kitchen and living room to stretch out. Easy set of stairs lead upto the apt, so be aware of that. The place was super clean and Matt and Val had nice touches of coffee, a couple drinks in the fridge, and some table snacks to start you off. Easy parking. We loved it for our stay and highly recommend it for anyone visiting clearfield!

Chad and Sara's place was beautiful. My boyfriend and I got the down time that was much needed. The place is quite and relaxing. It was well worth the 5 hour and change drive from NYC and we can't wait to go back. They are what you call SUPERHOST.

Chad’s place is a sweet cozy studio in a forest/private community area, surrounded by trees, a lake, and wildlife. A quick drive to a number of hikes trails in the forest, to the supermarket and pharmacy; in a center that carries the charm of an old country town. The bed is comfortable, the space is clean, there is a swinging chair, and the outdoors are magical. I totally recommend his place and if I am around I would return for sure!

We had an amazing time! The place is much bigger than it looks in pictures and Chad was great, providing us with extra supplies and help!

Great little bungalow to relax and rejuvenate. My wife and I spent a long weekend, and enjoyed some downtime, away from the normal stresses of life.

Lovely apartment with one good-sized and one smaller bedroom, very comfortable furnishings, wonderfully relaxing space. Pam provided many thoughtful touches & the home itself is situated in a very quiet wooded area. I'd love to come back and stay longer!

What a great place to stay. Clean, comfortable and cozy. Out in the country, but only 5 minutes to Clearfield and 10 minutes to Curwensville. I highly recommend it!

This is a wonderful place for a trip to State College, perfect for one or two people. Centrally located (if you are fit you could totally walk, despite what other reviews say — though there is a little hill). Parking is off street. Quiet and safe. I was here during a quiet time but I can’t imagine you would get too much student noise despite being pretty close. Apartment is much bigger than I expected based on pictures. Salman really went above and beyond as a host.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a quiet, relaxing stay out of town and Salman's place was perfect. He was very quick to respond and resolve our reservation issues, plus his place was the perfect space with everything we needed. The location was perfect, super close to downtown but far enough away for peace and quiet. I would definitely stay here again.

Quaint home in a lovely, QUIET area yet still very close to two bus stops offering inbound and outbound travel , connecting buses and grocery store, pharmacy and many restaurants that deliver. I will definitely stay here in the future.

Salman’s place was great for our weekend trip to State College. It was close to campus and had everything we needed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Holly and Cody, and wished we had more time to spend a few more nights in this little piece of Heaven 😊. The directions Holly gave were very helpful and made finding it easy, even though we arrived after dark and the flexible check in time worked great for us. They have really gone above and beyond to make sure their guests have EVERYTHING they may need, and the entire basement space was open to us. The bedroom and bath were both Immaculately clean and the delicious breakfast topped it off. We’ll definitely plan to stay again when we travel back to Snow Shoe, from Louisiana. It was truly an amazing experience.

Nice place in the country. Cody greeted me, he was pleasant yet to the point as to be respectful of my time. The room was cozy and clean. The bathroom is private although you go into the hallway for it, I had the entire basement to myself. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. A nice touch. Also a keurig with coffee/tea and mini fridge with water was convenient. I will definitely stay again when working in the area.

February 2 2020. Came to the area to see Punxsutawney Phil predict the weather. He said he didnt see his shadow, but within minutes the wet sticky snow started falling. Mitches place is out-freakin-standing. Private apartment with a kitchenette stocked with snacks and drinks, which was 100% awesome since after Gobblers Knob I went right here and didnt get food, and needed some when I woke up after being awake 28 hours. Thos is without a doubt the BEST place I've stayed at. I'm going back in late spring and I'll male sure I book here again.

Good spot secluded and clean friendly accommodations. Be sure to eat at the Dubois diner very good food, cool atmosphere and value prices.

What an amazing stay we had here!!! Everything was super clean, cozy and recently updated! Our hosts were very thoughtful and were always quick to respond. There were snacks and drinks set out for us as well as muffins and coffee for breakfast in the morning! They even had beautiful fresh flowers in the kitchen. What a lovely touch in the middle of winter! The beds were very comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was perfect. I wish we could have stayed longer! I would recommend this place to everyone!

This is the best Airbnb you will find, anywhere. If you love a squeaky-clean place with great sheets, pillows and towels, this is your place. Hosts provided drinks snacks and even fresh muffins for breakfast. The place is chock full of small touches and amenities to make you feel like the hosts really want to take care of you. I stay in 10-15 bnb's a year, and this is seriously the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. Book this place with confidence and see if you're not super impressed.

Better than home accommodations ..... we were only there a short time but we cozied up quickly in the plush blankets, sheets and towels. Nicely decorated (even for the holidays) and not a stone unturned in supplying the unexpected needs for breakfast and toiletries.

Diana's place is a simple stay in a comfortable home that is good for a solo visit to Penn State. No surprises and great bath towels. Plenty of eateries nearby. Short drive to downtown State College.

It was very quietand peaceful however not far from town. She was quick to respond to all questions and had wonderful amenities! Everything was very clean and organized. I had a great stay and will be back!

Ginny Place was sparkling clean, well stocked in kitchen. The location is like amazing almost we feel we are at top of the mountain. Place has all top class amenities and appliances. The place is amazing to visit both in winter and summer. Five star from me.

The view from this house has to be seen to be believed. It was a beautiful, warm retreat for my wife's December graduation. The hosts were wonderful and went out of their way to help us. A great place to stay!

What a great mountain getaway! My sister and I stayed 3 nights here and we absolutely fell in love with the space. The house was sparkling clean and full of thoughtful touches. And the beds were SO comfortable! We would definitely stay here again. We loved being close to the state park (great hikes) and we were able to get to State College area within ~20 min. We truly felt at home here.

Suman's place provides plenty of first floor space in a raised rancher. No stairsteps, quiet neighborhood, and walking distance to supermarket and plenty of bus stops makes it a great value for seniors or small families. Also, it's not a bad walk to campus through a more historic part of State College.

The apartment is a bit like stepping back in time in a very cool way; it feels like your grandmother or great-aunt's apartment, but there is something really homey and lovely in that. There are lots of thoughtful touches around the house, and there are kitchen supplies and laundry machines on the premises. The furniture is pretty comfortable as well! The proximity to downtown Punxy is fantastic! Nicole is also a very thoughtful host; she checked in frequently up to the date of our arrival, provided tips about the area, and made check-in a breeze.

We needed a convenient and economical place to stay in Punxsutawney, and this fit the bill. Very clean, a bit dated, but plenty of space for the 2 of us. Nicole was very responsive and check-in/check-out was a breeze. Nice stay!

Another great stay! Only criticism is that the bedroom curtains are very thin, so it's hard to go to sleep early while the sun is still out; because the room is still so bright. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay.

Kelly was super accommodating when my family needed a place to stay together for a special trip to visit my grandpa. The house was very clean and she had a very thoughtful spread of treats and gifts to welcome us.

Charming and inviting house-Kelly makes you feel right at home. Lots to see and do in Clearfield-Bee Kind Winery is a must see if you are into supporting the local wine industry. One of the best locations on the east coast to star gaze!

This was my first time staying at Kelly’s and in the PA area. I enjoyed my stay 300 times more than I could’ve imagined. My family and i where over the moon with how clean the house was , with how attentive and kind Kelly was , and overall how perfect everything was. We couldn’t have asked for a better hostess. Made over vacation better than we could’ve asked for.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very nice with an attached sun room allowing for my daughter to sleep while I did some work. The bed a was very comfortable. The house had a 40s/50s feel with hard wood floors along with it being nicely decorated . I look forward to staying again and would recommend it to others.

The house is really nice, I was always allowed to use all the amenities in the house. Jelly also had a lot of great snacks and also offered me food which was really kind of her. I’d recommend this place for all types of people if you are coming in this area.

Her faith was such an encouragement to us, as we travel for work. Bed was super comfortable, connected room was a bonus. I would recommend to anyone!

Grace Place is a home away from home, much better than a hotel room in my opinion. I first stayed here in March with my friend and daughter and was so happy to return with my husband in August. Everything is clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our coffee and muffins in the morning on the back porch and relaxed on the side porch. Kelly is always so hospitable and is quick to communicate anything she thinks will be helpful or to respond to any questions I've had.

Kelly's house is old but super cozy. It is furnished with a lot of love. Kelly is friendly, helpful and does everything to make you feel good. It was just one night but very pleasant.

Very quiet country setting , scenic drive through the woods,past a well groomed pond . To a very nice real rustic log home. Which looks over a rolling field and barns. Makes you feel like your in the mountains. Very nice roomy Airbnb which is handicap accessible right down to the shower. And the touches make u feel like your home. Right down to the brown eggs in fridge for breakfast. Wonderful relaxing stay! A+

Little jewel in the woods!!! Quiet place and awesome place for a weekend getaway or if you just want to relax and do nothing.

Ann was a very gracious and friendly hostess. She greeted us warmly upon our arrival, and provided all that we needed for a very comfortable stay- including food for breakfast. Sparkling clean, beautiful farm setting, and an easy 40 minute drive from Penn State. Worked well to stay here after the football game. Definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay!! It’s a nice quiet place, and the space was sparkling clean. Ann, who met us for check-in, was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met, and the fresh breakfast food she left us in the fridge was thoughtful and delicious. Truly a thoughtful selfless host, 10 out of 10 would stay there again!

The cabin is beside the woods and the farm, very quiet and private. Our host Ann is very kind and hospitable. It was an amazing place for us to get away from the city. We enjoyed the beautiful views and had a wonderful time here.

The apartment is on a quaint farm right off of I 80. We got there late at night and had no problem finding the place with Google maps and the directions provided by the host. When we got there, the apartment was well lit, very clean, and just as described. We even had farm fresh eggs for breakfast! We took a nice walk around the farm in the morning and met their horse. It was a great getaway for anyone looking for a retreat away from the city or a convenient stop off of I 80 on their way someplace else!

Great location for all things PSU! Room is very private and extremely well maintained. Hosts let us know we could ask them for anything we need but never intruded during our stay. Would definitely stay again.

A nice place to stay! The bed is huge and soft, and the location is great. Having a private entrance was nice. The door does not have a lock, but Angela and her husband respected our privacy, so it was no issue!

Wonderfully set up little private suite in the basement. The check in was the most convenient I’ve ever had and the hosts were so prompt and friendly with their responses even though we never met face to face. The thought they put into cultivating such a simple and comfortable space really shows.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay with Soyoung! The location is great, it is a short drive from both Penn State's campus and from lots of stores and restraunts. (I would recommend going to the waffle shop!). The house was very clean and the the room was comfortable. Soyoung always responded to messages within a matter of minutes. She was a kind and accommodating host! She even baked cookies and gave us some to take home. Plus, her cats were very sweet and made the stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend booking here for your visit to state college!

So Young was a fantastic host! She responded quickly to any questions I had, and really helped me to discover the area. The bedroom was small, neat, and stylish. Overall, it was a very comfortable experience!

Soyoung has a wonderful, cute little house in state college. My friend and I came to stay for a PSU football weekend, and only spent a few hours here due to some unexpected travel difficulties, but Soyoung was SO helpful and quick with communication. The place was clean and the room was cozy. Wish we could have actually stayed but would go back anytime. (The cute cats were also a bonus! :) )

Soyoung is a really gracious and friendly host. Her house is cute and clean and organized, with fun but understated decor. The bedroom is cozy and warm, with a comfy bed and lots of pillows. Her two cats are super friendly! The house has a good kitchen, great laundry, fast wifi, a big yard, and a spacious driveway. It is located a comfortable walk from the Penn State campus, and convenient to many bus routes. All in all, this was one of the best Airbnb stays I've had.

Soyoung's place is nice and feels like home (a friendly but not intrusive cat was a nice plus for me). The room had everything I needed and my short stay was enjoyable. Especially though, I have to say thank you to Soyoung for being flexible and able to discuss changes to my plans at 10pm! Such responsiveness is getting rare on airbnb and is highly valued.

My stay was short but enjoyable. So Young was always responsive with great attention to detail, and she keeps an immaculatas house. She is very easy to talk to, and is just a great hostess. The house is very convenient to Penn State. I highly recommend both So Young and the location.
