The house is located at the entrance to the Bodetal (5-minute walk), is an ideal starting point for Harz hikes to the cliffs Hexentanzplatz and Roßtrappe, with cable car, chairlift and for relaxation in the thermal baths. The 100-year-old house has been lovingly renovated. 200 square meters on 3 levels offer enough space and retreat areas for 8 people. Large windows and an open living area with oiled wooden floorboards give the rooms light and atmosphere. The house is good for couples and families with kids.

Sit back and relax – in this quiet, stylish accommodation with its own garden, sauna and hot tub and direct access to the hiking trails in the beautiful Harz Mountains. The colorful city of Wernigerode with its cultural and culinary offerings and the beautiful half-timbered houses is within walking distance (about 10 to 15 minutes). Our vacation home was completed in the summer of 2025 and offers every comfort (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, underfloor heating, fireplace, open kitchen/dining area).

The 40 sqm WILD&COZY apartment is a modern, new apartment in the WILD&COZY vacation home with an open floor plan and the latest furnishings in a quiet location. A very warm ambience was created with a lot of love for detail. A special feature is the private parking right in front of the private entrance and the large private terrace. Blankenburg (Harz) is located between Quedlinburg and Wernigerode and thus offers countless opportunities to start excursions or hikes together.

Our little cottage is quietly located in the deciduous forest of the eastern Harz Mountains, on a hillside with a view of the countryside. It is minimalist, cozy, and offers everything you need after an active day. The Thale climbing area and bike park are within easy reach, and hiking trails start right outside the door. Afterwards, you can relax by the stove—indoors or outdoors—accompanied by the sound of the Bode River and birdsong in the morning.

This beautiful apartment with its loft-like character allows an almost 360-degree view over the rooftops of the Schlossberg. In the center of the living area there is a beautiful fireplace with a side reading corner and a cozy sofa overlooking the flickering fireplace. In the entrance area, next to the daylight bathroom with shower, there is a small kitchenette with dining area for morning breakfast including a view over the old town of Quedlinburg.

A beautiful place to stay, invites you to hike in Thale. The property is about 500 m from all hiking trails to the Hexentanzplatz. It is about 700 m to Bodetal and about 800 m to the city center. On it there is a small cozy landscaped garden for use. Our apartment is located in the upper town of Thale in the direction of Hexentanzplatz and has been freshly renovated by us with great effort and lovingly furnished, with the hope that all guests will feel completely comfortable. The 80 sqm apartment with roof terrace is located on the 2nd floor and can accommodate 4 people (plus 1 baby). All rooms have been designed with attention to detail.

Spend extraordinary days in our glamping tent in the upper area of our hillside property with magnificent views of the woods. Listen to the birds singing from the cozy bed while a river ripples below on the property. Numerous hiking trails start right outside the door, and cultural attractions are nearby. The bathroom area offers a flushing toilet as well as a shower with hot water.
