Groß Raden has an archaeological open-air museum with holiday programs and two restaurants. Fishing from the jetty or boat is possible. The Baltic Sea, Schwerin as well as Wismar and Rostock are about 45 km away.

Our house is located directly on the Amtswerder peninsula in the Feldberg district, not far from the large and small Haussee. Our apartment building was completed in July 2019. Our cottage is located on the northern shore of Lake Plauer, with direct access to the lake. Cycling and hiking routes lead along the lake. The unique natural landscape is very impressive and offers beautiful views of the Plauer. Nearest place is Alt Schwerin. It is a small village and has an agricultural museum, a shopping oasis with bakery, restaurants and a boat dock for steamer rides, which can also be easily explored by bike.
