The vacation home is located in the Sternberger Seenland Nature Park, is 200 years old and was formerly the ice house of the manor. It was completely renovated in 2017. The sauna, a canoe, a rowboat, a stand-up paddle as well as a table tennis table and badminton can be used free of charge. Groß Raden has an archaeological open-air museum with holiday programs and two restaurants. Fishing from the jetty or boat is possible. The Baltic Sea, Schwerin as well as Wismar and Rostock are about 45 km away.

The well-equipped kitchen unit with modern appliances (including induction cooktop, convection oven, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, washing machine) is noteworthy. Also available are kitchen scales, grater, salad spinner, garlic press. The sofa can be converted into a comfortable sleeping area (160 × 200). A large flat-screen TV is also available. An oasis against the stress of everyday life in a scenic location is our second vacation home on a peninsula between two lakes in the heart of Mecklenburg in the Sternberg lakes in Rosenow near Warnow. Here you can unwind on a 1600 square meter,green overgrown end property. Rosenow is nicely secluded but central to reach the cities of Wismar and Schwerin as well as Rostock.
