The old settlement structure of this Warft is well preserved and is considered a gem with its 14 houses in original development. Welcome to our terp in Waygaard on Bottschlotter See. The Old Canoe Hous is a lovingly furnished, open 130 square meter apartment in our thatched-roof barn with a view of the lake, the surrounding meadows and the North Frisian marsh. It is ideal for nature lovers: you can fish, canoe, cycle around the accommodation and watch the flocks of birds that use the lake, which is partly a nature reserve, as a migration and nesting site.

A newly covered, local thatched roof, the restoration of the old dormer and a careful approach to the expansion in order to preserve as much as possible - that was important to us and characterizes this unique building. Unfortunately, we are not suitable for party groups!
