This 61 m² garden apartment offers space to arrive and breathe. It sits quietly and close to nature in Wandlitz, about a 5-minute walk from Lake Wandlitz, with a separate entrance and its own terrace. Swimming spot just around the corner: only 300 m away is a free bathing spot on Lake Wandlitz — steps lead into the lake right in the woods, and dogs are allowed in the water too. The apartment is intentionally designed for a maximum of two adults – not a family setup, but a place for retreat, focused work, or relaxed days out in nature. We place particular value on sustainability: the apartment runs on climate-friendly heating, modern boiler/heat-pump technology, and a solar system – for a good feeling throughout your stay.

Those interested in culture and entertainment will find, for example, a small dedicated theater, the Barnim Panorama, a modern museum of regional history and a fast train connection to the center of Berlin.

We rent out our nice, detached cottage of about 35 m² on our property, with garden, barbecue and cozy seating area. For the colder days, it is equipped with central heating. It is a 2-minute walk from the lake, 3 minutes from the beach, surf club. The train station is 500 m away, bakeries, shopping facilities and Restaurants are within walking distance. Bus stop. For the door, Berlin is close, other lakes in the vicinity. For dog lovers, the property is not completely fenced.

We love contrasts - In Schloss Lanke, we rent a spacious 100 sqm loft in the attic. A castle loft. French Neo-Renaissance on the outside, subtle minimalism on the inside. Urban living comfort meets the lush nature of the Barnim Nature Park. Both together create the perfect setting for rest, relaxation and deceleration. In addition to vacation rentals, Schloss Lanke also houses the owners' apartments as well as office space on the first floor. We respect our privacy.

The Two Bedroom apartment has a total size of 59m² and includes 2 bathrooms (shower/bathtub with professional hair dryer and cosmetic), a living room with sofa bed and TV, a Double Bedroom with TV and a Single Bedroom. It also has large cabinet space, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and coffee machine, dining table. It can accommodate up to 3 adults and one child/infant (a child up to 9 years on a sofa bed and/or an infant in an extra cot).

Our accommodation is located in the countryside directly on the lake and yet very close to Berlin - 30 km. You'll love the family-friendly place because of the great surroundings and the plenty of space; a swimming area is within sight a stone's throw away; a SUP for exploring the lake is available. There is also a grill and a fire pit. A spacious garden with a Hollywood swing and hammocks invites families as well as those seeking peace and quiet.

We offer our attic as a FW for 2-4 P. A children's travel bed is also available. The property is located on the edge of the Wandlitz lake landscape and is therefore an ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours in Barnim. Berlin can be reached in about 45-60 minutes by public transport or car. Within walking distance of the apartment there are bathing spots of Lake Stolzenhagen and Lake Wandlitz, a playground and a restaurant.

Fishing is also possible on Lake Rahm with a fishing license.
