Birken Cottage - Vacation in the Herbsthausen sawmill

Our three one-room apartments — Ahorn, Linde, and Birke — combine the historic charm of Herbsthausen with contemporary design. Each apartment is completely unique and has been modernized by us. They offer space for two to three people each. The apartments are part of “Herbsthausen”, an cultural project in the town of Gartow. We are renovating a historic sawmill and transforming it into a future-oriented place for art, industrial heritage, living, working, international exchange, and relaxation.

In Schweinrich on the motorboat-free Dranser See lies the romantic vacation home "Landlust" with an idyllic large garden, only 100 meters from the swimming area. There is a boathouse with its own jetty. Canoe, kayaks and sailing dinghy (sailing skills required) can be rented. The apartment is in a 120-year-old brick remise. It has an unobstructed south-facing view of the Havel region. On the first floor is a kitchen-living room with sofa bed, terrace and private garden. On the second floor, the bedroom, a balcony with panoramic views and the bathroom with an inviting shower. Area (without outdoor facilities): 40 square meters. Bed linen and towels are included. The adjoining loft (45 square meters) can be rented. 3 more people can stay there.

Pure relaxation surrounded by animals, meadows, fields and forests. Located in the middle of meadows, fields and forests, you can enjoy peace and relaxation surrounded by our sheep, llamas, donkeys and cats. There is one bedroom with a double bed, one bedroom with two single beds and a roof bunk (ceiling height maximum 150 cm) with 3 beds. In addition, you could also sleep in the living room on the sofa bed (2 people). Outside there is also a sauna house.

Are you looking for a break for two, want to spend a quiet weekend with the girls in the country or start a family trip in nature? Enjoy the tranquility and relaxation in our lovingly restored apartment. The mixture of coziness, nature & comfort ensure relaxed days in the beautiful Prignitz. The 25 m² terrace with garden access invites you for breakfast in the morning sun. The 1000 m² garden can be used incl. the pool (seasonal) can be shared by you.

If you want to sit by the fireplace in winter or swim in the Elde 100 meters away in summer, you will feel comfortable here.

We are happy to invite you to vacation with us in a cozy atmosphere and idyllic surroundings. Techentin is a small place in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Adjacent lakes, many fields and numerous forests characterize the picture here. The apartment has a natural garden that can be used and enjoyed. We provide 2 bikes for exploring the area. A grill is available. In the village, good home cooking is offered about 100 meters away.

Modern und stilvoll eingerichtetes Tiny House, mitten auf einer blühenden Wiese. Dieses liebevolle Nest steht unter riesigen, hunderte Jahre alten Eichen. Hier könnt ihr euch nach Ankunft vor dem Haus entspannen und dem Himmel bei seinem bunten Farbenspiel zuschauen. Ruhe ist hier garantiert. Typische Geräusche sind hier die Eulen am Abend und die Trecker am Morgen. Auch Reh, Hase, Fasan oder Storch kommen oft vorbei.
