We are just 15 minutes from JMU and downtown Harrisonburg, and 25 minutes from Massanutten. Take a walk on the trail, birdwatch, visit a neighboring vineyard, or chase sticks with your pup--- there are so many ways to unwind at La Casa del Bosque!

"Country Star"- Suite at Cross Keys

Welcome to our private, cozy suite, Country Star. A sunny walkout basement apartment with patio and easy parking next to entrance makes coming and going a breeze. Country Star features a kitchenette, with table and chairs, one bedroom with queen bed and closet, and a full bath/shower. It provides comfortable space for two, with extra space for a pack-n-play or fold out lounge chair/bed for a third person. (See note in 'other'). Our space offers convenience and comfort, with self check-in.

Bright and cheery in the bedrooms best suited for 2-4 adults or family with children. Wonderful sound of the river throughout the property. Step outside to hundreds of miles of biking and hiking trails, and stocked lakes and streams. Well maintained paved state road to cabin driveway. The house is 20 minutes West of Harrisonburg VA and JMU.

Watch the sunrise from a hanging basket chair at 2700 feet of elevation, or wait for moonrise and toast spectacular star views! Relax in the sauna after a day filled with hiking and an al fresco meal on the deck. Roast s’mores at the deck fire table or over the side yard fire pit. There are plenty of exciting adventures here in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley including, hiking, wineries, shopping, and lots of good food! We are just minutes from Buc-cee’s Rockingham location!!
