Mountain Momma Homestead Cottage

A quaint studio guest house located in one of the many hollers of West Virginia. Less than 1 mile from I64, the house is roughly 300 sq. feet, centrally located between Charleston, New River Gorge, and Huntington. This guest house is equip with an outdoor space that includes a firepit and grill. It is located close to the main living quarters, but it is disconnected. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to stay overnight in a mini-storage? Probably not, lol! But if you've ever watched HGTV, you'll see that people across the country are creating short-term rentals out of all kinds of crazy things, from shipping containers and barns, to old warehouses. Well, in Cross Lanes WV, we took our cues from those folks on TV and created a short-term rental out of a storage unit! Conveniently located, just off I64, and only 1 mile to the Mardi Gras Casino.

Looking to relax and unplug. This peaceful, quiet, cozy cabin is just the place. Cabin has a loft with a full & twin bed. There is a queen bed, full bath and kitchenette (microwave, coffee pot & mini fridge) on main level. Guests are welcome to use outside kitchen which has full fridge, gas, charcoal & flat top grill. There is also tables and outside shower on 15x40’ deck. The fire pit is great on those chilly mountain evenings. 10-20 mins. to historical Belpre, Marietta OH & Parkersburg WVA.

Authentic log cabin set on an equestrian horse show complex with a few modern amenities. This cabin offers a cozy feel with a small kitchenette and living space. A bathroom addition added to the first floor with a stand up shower. Upstairs offers two double beds. The stairs are original and steep. Plenty of parking available. Pet friendly space. Most weekends we have events at the facility and trucks, trailers and horses will surround the cabin. Located apx 10 miles outside of town.

We are within short driving distance to: Marshall University, Cabell Huntington Hospital or St. Mary's, the Huntington Mall The place is small, quaint and cozy, offers a full kitchen, comfy bed, we live close to a highway so there is some traffic and our driveway is at a incline we are in a protected area which is near the city and on a bus line. This rental offers easy access to all things Mothman. We are minutes away to coffee and food. Take morning walks at Krodel. Grab some Mexican food on Main Street in the evening or devour the Mothman pizza at Village. We are a slow down kind of town. Don’t forget to enjoy the evening deer in the back field.
