If you are looking for a remote getaway with beautiful sites, some fabulous fishing, or riding your side by side through the mountains, this place is in the heart of it. Nestled in the holler of Leadmine, WV is our hut. So close to Thomas, WV with their streets of shopping; Davis, WV with Blackwater Falls and restaurants; Canaan is not much further up the road. And the endless trails to ride your buggies!!

We're an ATV friendly town with endless scenic trails through the mountains and national forests that surround us. We're known for five beautiful clean rivers that merge here and host the annual Pickin' in Parson Bluegrass Festival.

Dandy Flats - The Nonchalant

Located in a historic building on the main drag and adorned with 135-year old hardwood floors, original woodwork, local art, huge rain shower, and forest views - this tastefully styled flat feels like being transported to a 19th century boarding house. A 15 minute drive takes you to Thomas, WV for food and art and music. Five more minutes and you are in Davis for Blackwater Falls State Park. A few more miles down the road find two alpine ski areas and White Grass Ski Touring Center.
