Von Midlum aus kann man die Insel in alle Himmelsrichtungen erkunden, mit dem Fahrrad gibt es exzellente Verbindungen, zum Strand sind es ca 4 km, zum Museum "Kunst der Westküste" in Alkersum ca 1 km. Das Dorf ist auch Start und Ziel von Deutschlands nördlichstem Marathon.

The accommodation is a traditional thatched farmhouse flat with a view overlooking the lake, the surrounding meadows and the North Frisian marshes. It is ideal for nature lovers: you can fish, canoe, cycle and watch the flocks of birds that use the partly protected lake as a migration and nesting site. The lake is used for windsurfing and wingfoiling.

Das ist ein Ortsteil von Wyk. Da es nach wie vor von uns privat genutzt wird, hat es Eines nicht: den effizienten, glatten Charme eines Ferienhauses. Da, wo die wilden Rosen wuchern, da wohnen wir.

Unsere Wohnung befindet sich ländlich aber doch zentral. Die Inselhauptstadt Wyk, der Hafen, der Strand und der Golfplatz sind in wenigen Minuten mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen. Ein großes Waldgebiet lädt zum Joggen oder Spaziergehen ein. Mit dem Fahrrad kann man bequem die ganze Insel auf den gut ausgebauten Fahrradwegen erkunden. Föhr ein unvergessliches Erlebnis!
