Private vintage studio for ONE person. On the 2nd floor with a narrow/steep enclosed stairway in a 4-unit house. Ours is an IMPROVING neighborhood but is still a work in progress! Houses are very old and some are still in rough shape. It is often quiet but with unpredictable urban sounds: music coming from cars, people socializing outdoors, sirens from the nearby hospital and fire station, children playing, nearby traffic. There is a queen sized bed and a sofa, NOT sofa bed in the sitting room. This cottage built in 1912. Private and cozy, the cottage has a big screen TV, wifi and a gourmet kitchen. The owner lives almost directly behind and is available and happy to assist. Chapin Park's tree-lined, brick streets and diverse historic architecture are charming. No smoking.
