Quirky Tin Cottage near the Mendip Hills

Our cottage is a quirky wooden framed, tin clad cottage, sitting on the banks of a stream, next to our house. Although small it feels much bigger with a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It can sleep 4 people with the use of the sofa bed. It features a wood burning stove, (it also has central heating ;-)), a gorgeous mural across one wall, a veranda for sitting and watching the world go by, oh and it also has full WiFi, smart TV and sound system if this all sounds a little rustic.

An inviting loft space is illuminated by natural light streaming through a skylight and windows. A comfortable gray sofa is arranged around a small coffee table, with decorative cushions enhancing the seating area. A TV is positioned on a simple stand, creating a cozy atmosphere.

Fitted out to a high standard it has all the comforts you need to ensure a perfect stay including free Wifi, dishwasher, washing machine and TV. 10 minutes from the motorway and the A370 this property is ideally located to explore the Victorian town of Weston-super-Mare and is only 25 mins from the historic city of Bristol. Barken Studio is a self contained converted stable in Bower Ashton (BS3) on the edge of Bristol. The location is perfect for exploring Bristol as we are in easy walking/bus distance from the Harbour, Ashton Court Estate, Clifton Suspension Bridge, Ashton Gate Stadium as well as many attractions. The Studio is a new conversion offering parking and a very light and airy space with a king size bed, full kitchen and stunning shower room. We can take an extra guest/child on a guest bed if required.

The stone exterior of the Coach House is framed by lush greenery and features two dormer windows on the roof. A large set of glass doors leads to a patio area, which is furnished with outdoor seating. A blue wooden fence adds a charming touch.

The Coach House is a converted coach house and stables. Downstairs, it has a 42 square metre open-plan living space, with a well-equipped kitchen, dining and living area. There is even a small pool table. Upstairs is the bedroom with a double bed and views of Severn Estuary towards the Welsh Hills. There is a study next door with a table and full double sofa bed. The bathroom has a shower and bath. The walls are decorated with our art work including many of local places you may like to visit.

'Home from home' is how I like guests to feel whilst staying at this welcoming, clean and spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home. It's a lovely, light filled property, tastefully decorated with quality furniture, art and comfortable beds, and offers a patio, garden and off street parking in a village, 15 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes the City Centre. Failand has a popular pub and grocery store/cafe and is a great place to enjoy glorious countryside yet with close proximity to Bristol.

Cottage retreat by the seaside

This private cottage is in the heart of Clevedon with easy access to the Clevedon beach front from great coastal walks and to visit our Grade 1* pier. There are also some lovely local restaurants to choose from if you do not want to cook. Great for couples, business travellers and families (with kids who like sofa beds). There is a nice TV, WiFi and we are about to install a wood burner to compliment the air conditioning system for the cottage venting in the bedroom and living space.

The cottage features a charming garden surrounded by greenery, with a well-maintained pathway leading to the entrance. Colorful flower pots are arranged along the stone path, and hints of the rustic stone exterior of the building are visible, creating a tranquil outdoor space.

The early 18C cottage is a part of our home but totally self contained. It retains many of the features of the time and is full of character. The two doubles are a good size and have wardrobes and shelving. Both have tea and coffee making facilities. The property enjoys two bathrooms; each close to the each of the bedrooms. There is a large lounge with a wood burning stove, ample seating, TV/DVD player and a piano. The large kitchen has a range, microwave cooker and dishwasher.
