Recently renovated to a very high standard, this delightful Fisherman’s cottage is situated in a conservation area between Penzance and Mousehole. Sit on the balcony & admire Mount’s Bay, lay in bed & watch the boats going to & fro, the view is mesmerising and you won’t want to leave. The cottage is light, spacious and airy, tastefully decorated and above all cosy and very comfortable, ideal for 2 guests. Bus stop and fine restaurants & pubs near by. Ideally situated for Newlyn School of Arts.

The living room features a light, airy atmosphere with white wooden floors and pastel-colored décor. A wood-burning stove is centered against a stone wall, flanked by a modern television and a wall mirror. Comfortable seating includes two cushioned chairs and a neutral sofa.

Romantic Bolthole for Two. Charming Bijou Cottage.

We have lovingly restored this one bedroom cottage from its previous life as a Fisherman's cottage to offer a perfect romantic retreat for two. When Dylan Thomas honeymooned in Mousehole he called it ''the loveliest village in England''. The Cottage is cute, cosy and comfortable - ideally situated just a few minutes walk to the Harbour. Perfect for a lazy Spring or Summer break or curl up by the wood burner during cooler months. And with all the little extras to make your stay truly memorable

The exterior of the Old Steam House features a combination of granite and wooden cladding. Two large French doors provide access to the interior, framed by plants. A small table and two chairs are positioned on the gravel patio, inviting relaxation in the garden setting.

The Old Steam House

The Old Steam House (originally built to house a vintage steam-powered car) has been newly converted into a gorgeous, detached, architect designed 1 bedroom property, set in the mature garden of a large Victorian house. The granite building is light and airy with large south-facing windows, high ceilings, wood burner, kingsize bed, excellent shower and underfloor heating throughout. We are a 2 minute walk to the village shops and pub. We have fibre cable to the premises so very fast Wi-Fi!

The lounge area features a comfortable light blue sofa with decorative cushions and a round coffee table. Natural light fills the space through a window with striped curtains, while a rustic wooden table and chairs provide a cozy dining option. Exposed stone walls and wooden beams add character.

A stylish and cosy, well equipped 2 bedroom cottage sleeping 4 located in a quaint historic area in the heart of the fishing village of Newlyn which is nestled on the coastline between Penzance and Mousehole, both of which are within easy walking distance. All the amenities of the village are only a minute walk away with fresh fish shops, a bakery, a greengrocers, deli, Co-op, cafes, independent filmhouse, restaurants, take aways, galleries and even a homemade ice cream shop all to be found.

The cottage comprises of a downstairs lounge diner with adjacent newly refurbished kitchen.
