An ideal base for couples & families, close to Holyrood Park, Arthur’s Seat and with lots of lovely bars & restaurants within walking distance. We welcome well behaved dogs, kids & their owners!

Relax and unwind in front of the open fire.For the sightseers its only a 30 minute drive into the centre of Edinburgh!

Our peaceful cottage is located at the bottom of our garden, reached by a private lane less than 200 yards from the centre of Haddington. Haddington is a historic market town 20 miles east of Edinburgh and has good public transport to the city. Located in East Lothian and 20 minutes drive to the many beaches and golf courses. There are several restaurants, pubs and coffee shops within an easy stroll. The cottage is self-contained with private parking in a relaxed, quiet setting.

The cosy and spacious cottage is set within an 18th century stable courtyard surrounded by picturesque parkland. Only 30 minutes from Edinburgh city centre, The Stables offer easy access to the buzz of the city and the escape of a quiet countryside retreat. This 2 bedroom apartment is the beautifully converted former Great Hall of Dollarbeg Castle. Built in 1890, Dollarbeg Castle was the last gothic baronial style building of its type ever built. Beautifully restored in 2007 to the very highest standards, it was converted into 10 luxury properties, one of which is a conversion of the original "Great Hall" with its vaulted ceiling and majestic views across the formal grounds towards the Ochil Hills in the distance.
