“We’ve just returned home after a fabulous long weekend at Chapel Cottage. The house is beautiful, cosy and a perfect base for exploring The Cotswolds. Little touches like the chocolates were a welcome surprise with out first cuppa! Thank you to Carol & Nick for all the information provided and for letting us stay in this beautiful home. Precious memories made and we are already planning a return trip.”
The Old Farm Bed & Breakfast is located within the picturesque village of Ampney Crucis in the heart of the Cotswolds. This brand new, peaceful, self contained detached annex is in the grounds of the The Old Farm, a traditional cotswold stone house.
“This is a lovely and stylish annexe near to the main house (but far away to be private). It has been decorated and equipped to a very standard. Amazingly comfortable bed, nice wet room and facilities for cooking (I wasn’t expecting a hob to be available so that was a pleasant surprise). Only met Fiona once, when I arrived and had difficulty finding the property in the dark and she appeared with a torch to show me in, but she stressed that I could call or visit the house if there was anything I needed - there wasn’t. Really relaxing stay and very close to the facilities available in Cirencester. Would absolutely recommend for a short stay in the Cotswolds. Thank you Fiona.”
This self-contained gem has its own balcony which overlooks a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is south facing, light & airy and has pure cotton sheets, a small well equipped kitchen, and a powerful shower.
“We had a lovely long weekend in Kaye’s place - the view is even better in real life than in the photos and very tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well equipped and we were even left with delicious local apple juice, yoghurt, croissants and wild blueberry jam! Kaye’s recommendations for places to go were great - including thistledown farm which has a lovely cafe (amazing cakes and thali!) with beautiful views and woodchester park is a pretty walk. We would not hesitate at all to come back again and recommend to others”
