This 61 m² garden apartment offers space to arrive and breathe. It sits quietly and close to nature in Wandlitz, about a 5-minute walk from Lake Wandlitz, with a separate entrance and its own terrace. Swimming spot just around the corner: only 300 m away is a free bathing spot on Lake Wandlitz — steps lead into the lake right in the woods, and dogs are allowed in the water too. The apartment is intentionally designed for a maximum of two adults – not a family setup, but a place for retreat, focused work, or relaxed days out in nature. We place particular value on sustainability: the apartment runs on climate-friendly heating, modern boiler/heat-pump technology, and a solar system – for a good feeling throughout your stay.

Relax in this special and quiet accommodation, picturesque village Ihlow, in the Märkische Schweiz (5km walk through the forest to Buckow), 55km east of Berlin. You can swim in the Reichenower Lake (3km) or in the Grosser Thornowsee. If you don't have a car, you can get there by bus or bicycle (18km) from Straussberg Nord station. Cozy apartment on Lake Straus – only 150 m to the water Our modern apartment (140 m²) in the attic can accommodate up to 12 people. Ideal for families, vacationers or can also be booked as a mechanic's apartment/worker accommodation (from 2 days). The location: Just a few steps to the Straussee with several swimming spots, a stage, a diving school and an ice cream parlor right outside the door. The old town of Strausberg with Europe's only electrically operated ferry is also waiting.

A house in the fields

The house stands alone in a sea of fields, swept by the wind, in a large perennial garden. With many fellow artists and friends, this formerly unspectacular guesthouse from the 90s was rebuilt and renovated, and a garden was created with the help of landscape designer Rainer Elstermann. In constant growth and change, an idyllic place was created – and is still being created – which can accommodate 10 people in the guest area and 8 people in the mainly privately used studio area.

We love contrasts - In Schloss Lanke, we rent a spacious 100 sqm loft in the attic. A castle loft. French Neo-Renaissance on the outside, subtle minimalism on the inside. Urban living comfort meets the lush nature of the Barnim Nature Park. Both together create the perfect setting for rest, relaxation and deceleration. In addition to vacation rentals, Schloss Lanke also houses the owners' apartments as well as office space on the first floor. We respect our privacy.

Enjoy the tranquility, relax at the sight of the vastness and watch spectacular sunsets from the living room window. Right in the village is Lake Bernstein, one of the most beautiful lakes in Brandenburg with a large sandy beach, small bays and a lido. Forests and fields around Ruhlsdorf invite you to take beautiful walks and collect mushrooms. It is hard to believe that this oasis of tranquility can be reached in just 45 minutes by car from Berlin Mitte.

The GDR bungalow with 80m² was extensively renovated by us and is under constant expansion. Our airbnb credo is to offer our guests a vacation as we would like to spend it ourselves - simply because we enjoy our property personally.
