Enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside, but still be 10-15 minutes from everything in town, close to the base, hospital, and shopping. 20 minutes to Curt Gowdy (hiking, fishing, boating, paddle boards, mountain biking) and Vedauwoo (hiking, views, rock climbing, bouldering, etc). We're just 5 minutes from both interstates. Private residence on our property with one bedroom, one bathroom, fully stocked kitchen and free laundry. Gas fireplace, covered patio, private dog run, private parking.

Private Cottage

Our Cottage does not share any space with others. It is free standing, located away from other buildings on our property. The cottage is great for a getaway, close to the mountains and town. Only 3 miles to Old Town and 1 mile to the foothills. The location is quiet and peaceful with a country feel yet close to the many wonderful adventures. Great room appeal with a large screen TV, DVD player and sofa sleeper. Full size washer and dryer in the large bathroom. Parking is next to the cottage.

The location is ideal for getting off the grid and enjoying private trails for hiking, biking, xc ski and snowshoe. 4WD or AWD preferred travel in winter. The location is remote and beautiful. The Moose Haven is at about 9000 feet along the Park Range in the Rocky Mountains. The heat is furnished by a wood stove that does require stoking through cold nights. The composting bathroom is 20 feet away and the shower house a short walk. Water is supplied as the Moose Haven is a dry cabin.

We are an 80-acre, historic mountain base-camp located in the remote Medicine Bow Mountains at 8700 ft elev. We are 5 miles from the Colorado/Wyoming border. Our property is backed up to BLM and National Forest. Outdoor mountain activity is the main attraction. The pioneer era cabins overlook an incredible view of Kings Canyon and the Zirkel Mountain Wilderness. We have three cabins available. We are semi-rustic with electricity, an outhouse and very nice camp kitchens in each cabin.
