Our cottage is offered here in the beautiful Wohratal on the edge of the basement forest. Hertingshausen is a district of Wohratal surrounded by forest with about 160 inhabitants . In the village center there is a playground and a lavender field with seating that linger . From now on we offer 2 e-scooters for rent for a' 15 Euro /24h. They are scooters with street approval, which can be driven without a driver's license from the age of 14. If interested, just report it.

In the garden there is a spacious garden house, which we also make available to our guests by arrangement.

Our well-equipped self-catering holiday flat is in Langhecke, and looks over the valley which leads down to the Lahn river in Aumenau. The flat is ideal as a basis for trecking trips, canoe trips on the Lahn, (motor)bike tours or trail riding (ask us about keeping your horses nearby!). Especially around the Nationalpark Kellerwald-Edersee.

Our apartment in Wittelsberg, a quiet place in Ebsdorfergrund, is located directly at the forest and invites you to take long walks. Nearby are the castle park Rauischholzhausen and the historic university city of Marburg (12 km) with sights around St. Elisabeth. Car is recommended for maximum flexibility. A charging station for electric cars (11 kW) is available and can be used on request (for a fee).
