Our apartment in the village of Schwarz (Calbe/Saale) is part of an old four-sided courtyard in family ownership. Schwarz is just a stone's throw from the Saale Cycle Path and a few kilometers from the Elbe Cycle Path. If you close the courtyard gate, you leave everyday life behind in the courtyard under grapevines. Or you can start from here to the highlights of the region: Dessau, Quedlinburg, Harz, Magdeburg – but maybe just the next lake. Perfect for cyclists, families or to write your book in peace.

My house offers many amenities: pool, hot tub, fireplace & 2 bathrooms, the larger one being particularly spacious. A piano provides musical accents, and the garden house with an oven and a kitchenette invites you to spend cozy hours. The location is ideal – only 20 minutes by car from the city center of Magdeburg, with a playground only a minute's walk away. Supermarket & bakery are within 4 minutes' walking distance. The house is situated in a traffic-calmed area and has two parking spaces.

The former Bismarck estate house, built in 1770 and completely renovated in 2009, is an ideal place for vacations and also workation - for working and relaxing. The stylishly furnished separate apartment (155 sqm) with private entrance, underfloor heating, antique tiled stove, a workplace, a fully equipped kitchen and a hot tub next to the apartment's own terrace as well as a sauna cottage in the extensive park offers the possibility of a varied break in every season.

Our bungalow is located in the local recreation area of Pretzien near Schönebeck. Here you have the opportunity to really unwind on the approx. 700 square meter, fenced property and enjoy the tranquility. If you're looking for a break in the middle of nature, this is the best place for it. You can watch the chickens in the garden from the large window. Outside, there is a seating area with a fire bowl. The wonderfully spacious courtyard offers a pool, a trampoline and a climbing frame. There are several parking spaces for cars on the premises.

Gottesgnaden lockmaster farmstead

The house is located on the Saale island of Gottesgnaden. Here the lock keeper lived and worked with his family. Today you can relax here on the 7x4 m terrace, make yourself comfortable in the great kitchen with fireplace, enjoy the river landscape, fishing, standup paddling or chill in the approx. 1000 sqm garden. The house is a single monument and belongs to the lock. The lock is in operation and is maintained and serviced by the Water and Shipping Authority.

The center of Magdeburg can be reached in about 20-25 minutes. The nearest shops are in Gommern (4 kilometers).

Take the whole family to this great home with room for fun and entertainment. The apartment is on the 2nd floor (in the attic), an elevator is not available. Books, cards and board games are available. Guests are welcome to use the garden and barbecue. We can also provide bicycles for rent to explore the Aller-Elbe bike path. Two quarries invite you to fish and swim in the directly adjacent landscape park.
