Stylish Living in a Medieval Cottage

Head out on Angles Way and follow the Waveney river valley for an idyllic countryside stroll or take a trip to the beautiful Suffolk coast, then light the fire and curl up under the beams. Featured in a host of magazines, this bucolic abode combines period features and chic, contemporary design. Ivywood cottage is medieval in age, but contemporary in design, with luxurious finishes and fine detailing. The house is in a unique rural setting and was once part of the Gawdy Hall Estate. The house sits next to a beautiful 15th century church, set within a 3 acre church yard. Glorious and plentiful Waveney Valley walks in all directions. Guests have complete privacy and run of the house, including a private garden. We respect our guest's privacy, and are on call for any advice or assistance that you may need during your visit. The cottage is a short picturesque drive from the coastal gems of Southwold and Aldeburgh. Harleston and Bungay are quintessential English towns with charming independent stores, delis, family butchers, bistro cafes, pubs, restaurants, and tea shops. It's the countryside, most people drive. Diss is the mainline station between London and Norwich and is just 15 minutes by car. Cycling is very popular and the cottage is on a regular time trial route. Buses are very reliable and the village is well serviced making it easy to hop between Suffolk and Norfolk villages. There is fabulous walking from the cottage. Located in the Waveney Valley paths such as Angles Way which follows the Waveney river valley are right on your doorstep.

Cottage set in 10 acres of parkland. Central to the Norfolk Broads , the coast and the city of Norwich is a 15 min drive away . Ideal for a couple (plus young child) or single person just wishing to get away. The cottage has a large living area with a sofa bed which is suitable for children. A tv and open plan kitchen, table and chairs . One bedroom, bathroom attached. Kitchen - Oven, fridge, microwave. 2 Parking spaces. The local Indian restaurant and pub are both within walking distance.

Spend a little time savouring the delights of Suffolk in this little gem of a cottage so close to the beaches of Walberswick and Southwold. Come back to the wood burner in the autumn and winter and a lovely meal cooked for you at the Queens Head just 10 minutes walk away. Our Cottage is pet friendly for one dog, please add this when you make your booking. Located in the historic part of Caister, our refurbished cottage offers all the comforts of modern life. Approximately 50 yards away from one of the best beaches on the East coast it is within walking distance of Caister's famous lifeboat station, high street shops and local public houses. It is perfect for one or two people who just want to get away from it all but not be in complete isolation. It is an ideal base to visit the rest of Norfolk at any time of the year.

Easy access to Norwich in 15 min. 45 min from the coast with stunning beaches and typical villages . A real countryhouse like you have dreamed of! Lavender Cottage, off the beaten track in Suffolk

This country cottage dates to 1880. It is on the outskirts of Wenhaston, 5 miles from the coast. It is a real escape to the country, overlooking Suffolk Wildlife Trust reserve. With cows grazing and birds singing it seems idyllic. Lavender cottage sleeps 5 in 3 bedrooms, a king size master, double bedroom and single bedroom. The modern kitchen/diner with new appliances has dining for 6, while the cosy living room has a log burner. Accessed down a bridle path.

The cottage has fields in-front filled with alpacas and behind fields of cereals.We have off road Parking, under floor heating. Private Patio garden and shared access to a large garden. We supply all bedding and the 2 bedrooms sleeps 4 with a fully equipped Kitchen. From July 23 we have built a another holiday home next door called Lilac cottage. This cottage sleep 6 people.
