The lower level of this historical building, the Plough Inn, 1853, was a tavern at the outskirts of Madison. It is now part of the city center, close to the University, State Capitol, Edgewood College, and restaurants. Wingra Lake and Park are just across. The guesthouse has been fully rehabilitated by the previous owners, respecting its historical cachet and hard-wood floors, but remodeled to today's standards. The rooms are spacious, each with their own character and bath. It is a cozy place.

The kitchen features a farmhouse-style sink and a stainless-steel dishwasher, alongside ample counter space. Soft lighting is provided by hanging pendant lights. A cozy living area is visible through large windows, showcasing a blend of modern furnishings and greenery.

Because we are in a quiet neighborhood, we have a 3 guest maximum. This is a place to retreat and relax and enjoy the best of Madison.
