Looking for some quiet and solitude our cabin is located in the country sitting on 20 acres of wooded land with walking trails, wildlife, and solitude. But we are still just a short drive to nearby communities for numerous activities to enjoy. We have kayaks and a canoe for rent enjoy an evening on a nearby lake watching the sunset and listening to the loons or enjoy some fishing from the kayak. In the winter enjoy our Outdoor Sauna, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, x-country skiing, or ice fishing.

With 2 gathering rooms, several dining areas, (inside and out) a fully furnished kitchen & laundry, you will have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Plenty of linens, towels, pillows, & blankets are provided & a gas fireplace to warm your self with a cup of cocoa, when the weather turns cool.

Enjoy a private, main floor, three room suite with private off street parking and private entrance. No stairs to climb, just a ramp onto the deck entrance. You will have a living room with a couch, recliner, TV and small dining table. The bedroom has a queen size bed and a well stocked kitchenette. The ensuite provides a closet, plenty of shelving, storage cabinet and a full bathroom with apartment size combination washer & dryer. We'd be happy to share our back deck with you as well.

Northstar Haven is a vacation rental property located in Detroit Lakes, across from Big Detroit Lake. It's a perfect place for a family vacation get-away or a gathering of close friends. Kids will have a blast playing in the big yard or at the nearby beaches on Big Detroit Lake. The large fire pit is perfect for evening bonfires.
