Pine is an easy drive and less than 2 hours from the Valley.

Kohl's Ranch Creekside Cabin - Adventure Awaits!

This cabin is in the heart of the Tonto National Forest near Kohl's Ranch, and is the first private cabin on the road. You can hear the year round sounds of Tonto Creek, along with the sounds of the breezes whistling through all the massive Ponderosa Pines surrounding the property. It has an open floor plan for family and friends, especially with two large covered decks to hang out. 15 minutes to the top of the Mogollon Rim, and less than 5 min from hiking trails and Tonto Creek Fish Hatchery.

Goat Haven

2 bedroom, 2 queen beds 2 bath. 4 guest/2dogs. Goats and donkeys are in our barnyard. Join us at feeding time. Heat /AC, propane grill n fire pit(accept during fire season). We provide a grill but if you use it you must clean it. Host doesn’t clean the grill we only provide it for your use. Full kitchen. Kureig machine Dishwasher, , TV: Roku, WiFi. Owner lives across street feeds animals AM & PM No trailers No additional guest. Smoking on patio. Elk often seen Dogs cannot be left unattended

Dead Mule Ranch

Cabin borders Tonto National forest which adds to the privacy and seclusion. The large stone fireplace along with propane heat keep the cabin warm and cozy. The spacious upstairs loft features one queen size and one full size bed. Kids love the separate bunk house out back which has 2 single beds. Renters can relax around the table on the covered porch which has plenty of room to enjoy an outside meal.There is also an outdoor fireplace. A year round spring attracts wildlife of all types.

Guests will be lulled into a tranquil peace by the babbling creek as they sit on the porch in the morning with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine in the evening after a long hike. At night, you’ll be amazed at by thousands of stars in the sky. Staying at the cabin will guarantee you leave for home feeling relaxed and recharged!

Relaxing log cabin that backs up to the Tonto National Forest. Recently remodeled with tile floors and updated kitchen. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Walk out your back gate to the Tonto national Forest and go hiking. Pick up fossils and agate or dig for crystals at diamond point. There is parking for four so no need to worry about your trailer or off road vehicles. We have a gated parking area. There are off road trails right from our street.

Enjoy a stocked small cabin with nice views, open deck, relaxing jacuzzi, outdoor fire-pit (subject to local fire restrictions) nearby hiking trails/lakes, fast internet, work from home space, large fenced yard, and old style wood stove. Indulge your evening with a delicious dinner on the inviting deck followed by a calming soak in the hot tub while gazing at the starlit sky.

Colcord Mountain Hideaway-Horse Friendly

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway under the rim with scenic views! Colcord Mountain Hideaway is an 800 sq foot second story studio with a lower level kitchenette. Perfect for a romantic couples weekend or a family of four. Located just under the Mogollon Rim lookout and near Woods Canyon Lake, the area offers lots of trails for hiking, biking or horseback riding! Horse stalls are $25 each. We have a round pen nearby. No dogs unless we have talked about it.
