A private cabin located on two private ponds which are great for hanging out or catching bass, catfish, perch or crappie. The large pond is shared with other properties but there are flat bottom boats that can be used to explore both ponds. This cabin is great for getting away from it all. It is located just outside of Rusk, TX so it is still only about a 5 minute drive to town. There are speakers and lights outside for night time enjoyment and a fire pit for an evening fire. A secluded retreat!

Cabin 1 directly on the lake!

We have 3 cabins on Houston County Lake that rent separately. 1&2 have 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms with a loft. The 3rd is a Studio. Master Bedroom has a queen bed with a private bathroom. The guest room has a full-size bunk bed that can sleep 4. The loft has two twin beds in Cabin 1 and a queen mattress in Cabin 2. The kitchen has a microwave, stove, oven, refrigerator, sink, and dishwasher. We also have a Roku TV and WIFI. We have a covered Pavilion with Pickleball, basketball, and other games.

Historic Loblolly Lodge at Ratcliff Lake

Bring the whole family and reconnect with one another and nature. With 2400 square feet of living space and a 17 foot long table there is plenty of room for several families. The Loblolly Lodge was built in 1936 as a mess hall for the CCC. It has been modernized for comfort and fun. The Lodge is nestled on 11 private wooded acres adjacent to Ratcliff Lake Recreation Area in the Davy Crockett National Forest which offers fishing, swimming, picnicking, and hiking for a small entrance fee.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Located in the piney woods of east Texas. Cabin is typically quiet but road construction is by the property currently. Sits on the edge of a cow pasture where cows moo(DO NOT FEED, they’re large and can hurt you, NOT RESPONSIBLE for people who have messed with cows.) Also has a pond with ducks that quack. (You’re welcome to feed them by the fence.) *No dishwasher, if allergic to Gain febreeze plug-in contact owner prior to arrival.

Right on the water of beautiful Lake Naconiche, just minutes from Nacogdoches and SFA, this rustic themed cabin features cozy bedding, a kitchenette, a double sided bathroom with walk-in glass shower, and a porch overlooking the lake with a fire pit. Our property is gated and includes a private boat dock, & additional fire pit and seating near the water. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing getaway, or wanting a cozy place to stay while on a fishing trip, this is the place for you.

Peaceful East Texas getaway

20 acres of relaxation in the piney woods of East Texas. Easily accessible from all directions. This is not a place to exert a lot of energy unless you'd like to visit my firewood splitting department. (I may knock a few dollars off the price if you do!) Owners house is next door, Grill, smoker, fire pit, and additional outdoor shower. Pond is stocked with perch. Beautiful walking trails. Golf cart is onsite but availability may be limited. The property is close to many attractions like, Cherokee Trace Safari park, Texas State Railroad (Polar Express), I.D Fairchild State Forest, Jim Hogg Park, David Crockett National Forest and River Run. Along with relaxing with nature and enjoying the family farm of goats, chickens and our donkey Biscuit.

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun, kayaks available for rent, baitshop, paddle boat for small pond (for bunkhouse guests only), firepit, bbq pit, griddle, walking distance to river. Fishing pond catch and release. (Bunkhouse guests only) Right off hwy 7, there is traffic noise. No satellite nor cable. Roku only.
