At 950 m, the Wasserkuppe is the highest mountain in Hesse and offers a wide range of leisure activities for the whole family (skiing, sailing and paragliding, summer toboggan run, climbing forest, etc.).

The sofa-bed in the living room is very comfortable, so you can sleep well in two rooms. In the village, there is a beautiful outdoor swimming pool and good gastronomy - around it a lot of forest. Our cafe has breakfast on weekdays from 6 or 7 o'clock on weekends.

The well-kept in-law is located in a quiet location below the Rauschenberg in a residential area. Shopping and a pizzeria as well as a bakery are within walking distance. Downtown and train station are also only about 30 minutes walk away. Cathedral square concerts, musicals in the city castle or the events at the Hessentag 2026 can be reached in 2 minutes by bus or relaxed on foot. With us, you have it quiet but still close to the city.

Vacation home with sauna

We moved from the city to an old farm in 2016 and live here together with our dog Dago and three cats in the middle of Schwarzenfels, a municipality of the city of Sinntal, below the beautiful Schwarzenfels Castle. We are gradually renovating the farm. In 2020, our "vacation home" project was completed and we are looking forward to our guests.
