Our garden and pond invite you to linger, with various seating options available. At the North Sea (6 km) you can swim, mudflat hiking and surf.

Our Resthof is surrounded by forest, which is why this beautiful area is also called Dithmarscher Switzerland. Dogs are welcome here. The climatic health resort of Albersdorf, with the Stone Age Park AÖZA, is in the immediate vicinity. The North Sea with its beaches and surf school in Speicherkoog Meldorf can be reached in 20 minutes by car.

The house is situated in the center of Heide. Within a 5-minute walk you are directly in the beautiful pedestrian zone of Heide. The train station, which offers a direct connection to Sylt, is also within walking distance. Heide also offers a lot of entertainment in typical North German "Schietwetter" (bad weather). But also the great coastal regions such as Büsum (20 km) or St. Peter Ording (40 km) can be reached quickly by car, for a perfect day by the sea.

Welcome to our little log cabin! The accommodation is part of our Quellental forest estate in Odderade, Dithmarschen district and is located in the middle of a forest clearing, nestled in a picturesque pond area. Our forestry operation is part of the largest forest area on the North Sea coast, the Riesewohld. Here, 700 hectares of partly uncultivated, natural forest invite you to linger and explore.
