Inside you'll feel right at home in the open, comfortable spaces to relax or enjoy time with family cooking meals, playing games or catching the game on the 55" TV.

Cabin #5-The Cottage

Tranquil getaway with home comforts including furnished kitchen w/appliances, Farm style seating for 4, reclining loveseat, queen bed, beautiful bathroom. Cute front porch, side patio w/table for six, portable firepit. Surrounded by trees/privacy fence. Available year-round. Queen bed, linens/towels. Housekeeping not provided unless the stay is more than one week.  At that time, we will clean the linens/towels & entire space & charge an additional $25.  Same weekly pattern for extended stays.

Enjoy grilling on the over sized deck, take the 4 available kayaks (2 adult, 2 youth) out to explore the historic Big Stone Islands, or share a campfire in the firepit on the patio! Beautiful view and large backyard in a very quiet area make this home a great place to stay while visiting Ortonville/Big Stone Lake. The home gets it's name from the visiting groups of turkeys we often see in the backyard. This home offers 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and can comfortably accommodate 7 guests. There is off the street parking, outdoor outlets, and a fish and game cleaning area in the garage (We ask that you take your fish/game scraps with you for disposal).
