In addition, there are a number of downhill ski slopes and cross-country ski trails available in winter. By car, the popular excursion destinations Wasserkuppe and Milseburg can be reached in approx. 10 minutes. At 950 m, the Wasserkuppe is the highest mountain in Hesse and offers a wide range of leisure activities for the whole family (skiing, sailing and paragliding, summer toboggan run, climbing forest, etc.).

All can be reached in max 50 minutes or less. Also, Spessart forest starts right behind the loft, a lot of walking and biking opportunities can be accessed from Waldaschaff and from the loft.

The attic apartment was renovated a few years ago and impresses with a harmonious juxtaposition of old wooden beams and modern design with deep windows and a view of the countryside. We moved from the city to an old farm in 2016 and live here together with our dog Dago and three cats in the middle of Schwarzenfels, a municipality of the city of Sinntal, below the beautiful Schwarzenfels Castle. We are gradually renovating the farm. In 2020, our "vacation home" project was completed and we are looking forward to our guests.
