Guests love the privacy of having a secluded, full-sized property with great outdoor spaces, parking, and a short walk to the beach, bars and restaurants- for the same rate as a noisy condo. A retreat for guests that want a true old school folly vibe.

Folly Beach HideAway

Perfect Folly Beach Hideaway. Located just two blocks from Downtown Folly and a few blocks from the Beach. Easy parking, no need to drive anywhere. This space is small, but does have a sitting area, kitchenette, bathroom, and private fenced yard perfect for watching Folly Beach stroll by. Maximum occupancy is 2 at all times, additional guests are not allowed. The unit is a totally private area with no access to shared space, inside or outside. It is rented out less than 72 days per year.

Smile House

The Smile house shares a porch area with the main house/Inn at Beachside. The 2 king bed/2 bath beach cottage (formerly Christy's dental office) has since been converted back and filled with Folly charm! Amenities include fully equipped kitchen, living areas, as well as a large front porch! Paid parking is available across the street, however there is parking in front on a first come first serve basis. Due to the great location, many guests never use their car once they have arrived.

StarView Cottage is a charming 1940's cottage in a coastal themed setting directly across the street from the beach. An adjacent Cottage A is elevated next door. Both cottages sleep 4-6 guests. Each is a unique offering. Please read carefully-the separate dwellings are both pictured to show you the overall layout BUT each dwelling is offered as a separate rental. The Garden Folly Guest House

Our architect said, “this is NOT a garage, it’s a Garden Folly!” Our Guest House has a bird’s eye view of the rose covered pecan tree and a vista of the marsh and the Wappoo Creek. When we rebuilt our 1930's garage we saved all the beaded siding and pine floor. My husband enjoyed incorporating many design elements and creative ideas. It was quickly becoming the Taj Garage. We decided it was just the kind of property we enjoy when we travel, so, Voila! we decided to share it with you!
